Jerry picks and chooses who he wants to do a great job on. If you don't use his hair it seems like he doesn't really care. Today I went to Jerry and I had an apt for 2pm. I showed up at the salon at 1:30. Which was fine I didn't mind waiting if I had to. Jerry now has this bad habit of DISAPPEARING to his other business for 20-30 minutes at a time. At one point I started keeping track... mind you he did this 2-3X while I was there... He claims that the process takes 3-4 hours... AT A BUSY SALON!! Today was a joke where when I showed up one girl only needed to curl her hair? And had one girl in front of me? WILD. I am diabetic and I begin to explain to jerry my situation and how now my bf has to pick me up Bc I couldn't physically drive or I'd crash and pass out. He had the nerve to say here's my card, call me when you settle in to talk about it. WHAT? like I didn't think I'd be here 5hrs while you did nothing while running around doing everything but hair. You need to get it together Jerry you're not who you were before and you're letting this ego go to your head. Never again will I go to @jerrytolbert salon for any hair services I was there for a 4:00pm apt…read morewaited around all day and when I finally got into his chair this fool sewed my wig on too far back to where my hair line was pushed way back rather then taking it out and readjusting it he continues to do a half ass job I didn't get any security mesh net over my braids or even a stocking cap to protect my real hair he just put got2b glue all up on my hair then the wig on no baby hairs or personalization to my hairline at all I feel discriminated against not to mention taken advantage of for my money I paid $600 for the hair a custom color and wig installation that I wanted to look like I was on LHHATL and what I got at the end was trash I told him I wanted versatility and to be able to wear my hair up FAIL but he posted other wigs on other girls that looked much better and when I called him to make an appt to fix it I got the run around for weeks the only person who should've been paid was the girl who braided my hair she's the true talent in his salon never again will go to him for any services he just rather take advantage of new clients and their money very unprofessional ! Please do not go here…read more I went to Bristol Uptown Salon today to get a trim before my engagement photos this evening. I asked for my hair to be cut/trimmed 1 inch so that it could be healthy. My hairstylist proceeded to cut my hair 2 inches and after making the first trim ask me if it's OK to cut it more than an inch. It was really too late at that point and I told her no that's not what I wanted but there was no way to turn around. I also asked for there to be some face framing and cut the little baby hairs that I have around my face so that they can continue to grow, she decided she did not want to do this today. To make matters worse, she proceeded to bang my head up with her harsh brush and scratch the shit out of my head and neck with her long pointy nails even when I kept saying ow this hurts. Horrible experience... I will never go back.
