I specifically asked about pricing because every other salon quoted me around $200 for a move-up, and I told her that during the consult. Based on that quote, I chose to book with her. I had my appointment, spent over $1200 on the hair and install, and was happy with the result--until my next appointment. I had a mix-up with the dates and unfortunately missed my move-up appointment. I fully own that mistake, but I never saw the reminder texts and never confirmed the appointment. Despite that, I was charged half the service fee, which I expected--until I saw that the charge was based on $95 PER ROW. I have three rows, so that no-show fee ended up being way more than I was ever told to expect. I called the salon and spoke with the manager to explain the situation and confusion, but she was completely dismissive. She told me they "usually charge 100%" for no-shows, and when I pointed out I never confirmed and had been quoted a flat rate originally, her response was basically, "Oh well."
