Went with my buddy as he wanted a haircut, I wanted a clean up back of my head. I spoke to one lady who cleared it as a beard trim price however another girl did the cut. I just sat there and let the girl do her job and she should look for another job. When it was finished I went to pay that beard trim price and the shift leader came to the cashier and charged me the hair cut price. She went too far with the clean up but I had to pay for the full price. I always avoided these shit holes and after this I will continue to stay away from these non-talented employees. read more

I went to this place to get a quick cut before work... the cut was great. The staff however is horrible (will complain about their babydaddy's not paying child support etc. classy.) Everyone I come in here I leave irritated. I want to like this salon bc one of the hair stylist is from the Chelsea site. I normally come in for a shampoo and that's it. I booked a service online but the only options were for a cut. I just wanted a wash and blow dry. I literally drove all the way to this place for this service. I get there and the front desk ask one of the ladies about the blow dry. The lady couldn't even just talk directly to me and tell me that they couldn't accommodate. Where is the customer service? My hair is so thin that it takes a short amount of time to blow dry it; a hair cut takes longer. So fine, I settle for just a shampoo but the lady washed it and said she was done. What happened to combing out my hair and towel drying it? My hair was still pretty wet and tangled? These stylish need to be retrained or the salon needs new leadership. Why is my service incomplete? After I asked if she could comb it out, she rolled her eyes! This is your job! read more

I started going to Supercuts last fall. My hair was a dreadful shade of red. I wanted the red gone, gone, gone, and replaced with blonde highlights. This monumental task fell to a "lucky" stylist named Liz. She spent close to three hours working on my hair. After she colored, foiled, cut and blow dried it, she realized that it still had a lot of red in it. I'm sure there are stylists who would have sent me on my way, telling me that it would be done in phases. Not Liz, she did the entire thing over again. It was 10 pm when I left the salon with beautiful blonde highlights. It was then that I realized that I'd found a fantastic stylist. Unless one of us moves away, I don't see myself ever going to someone else. I always go the salon after 5 pm, and it's like a night out. The other stylists are a lot of fun too. It's a very friendly atmosphere. Liz and I chat about our lives. She's a cool gal. She also cuts my husband's hair, and does a great job. The salon is clean, comfortable; good music, plenty of parking and the prices are comparable. There's up-to-date magazines and a nice selection of hair products for sale. Ok, so I wasn't expecting much from this place. I mean it's cheap and I do believe sometimes you get what you pay for but I was in a hurry, needed a quick cut and it was convenient. I've had some really bad cuts and have been to too many hairdressers where they chop off all my hair. At best I'm sure I make anyone new cutting my hair a little nervous. I went in, told her what I wanted, and that was it. No fuss, she did what I asked, shaped my hair, cut the dead ends and had me leaving pleased. I then brought in my 6 yr old. She was in desperate need of a cut and sure I could have taken her to a kids salon, but they were open late, again it was convenient and although more nervous about them cutting off all her hair, the gentleman did a great job. She now has a "style" and we're both very pleased. If you're going for the latest greatest look maybe you want to go spend $100 on a cut elsewhere but if you're just looking for a fairly simple cut, quick service, convenience and a great price then this is it.... read more

I usually book my appointments online at Supercurts and it works well, I booked my online appointment for 6 pm at this location in Everett, MA and got here just before time.They were busy with business so no one bothered to attend for a moment to check me in, they later called 2 more people ahead of me who were walk ins, I had no advantage by booking an appointment online , it was as good or bad as walking in and waiting before people ahead of you waiting for their turns got done. This makes no sense , why have the online booking at first place when you can't honor it ?? read more

I asked the staff if they had heard about the campaign to collect cut hair from hair salons around the country to send to the Gulf to help clean up the oil spill. My haircutter said that several customers have asked about it and they relayed it to the area superviser but haven't heard back as to whether Supercuts is going to participate. The first time I went to this place, it was dead and I had my hair cut by one of the management. She was fantastic, talked to me about my hair and the best way to cut curly hair, and how to deal with frizzy days, etc, etc. Excellent experience! The next time I needed my brows waxed. The stylist was running late, which was fine. It was my day off, I had brought a book. But she seemed really frazzled, and the waxing really hurt. Then she rushed me out the door without realizing that I had asked for a cut as well! When I got home, I looked in the mirror and noticed that a good amount of skin was missing from my eyelid! It stung to blink for over a week, which is loads of fun. One time event, right? Went back again with my first experience in mind. One bad apple, etc, etc. Got a lovely stylist that dealt with my brows with businesslike precision and got a nice cut. Finally went last time... and a DIFFERENT stylist pulled the SAME skin off the SAME eyelid. I complained, and she said to ice it when I got home. Um, bleeding and scabbing are a bad sign. honey. Then she tried to usher me out without cutting my hair. And the cut is horrendous. She reassured me that the length was was I requested. It is not. I look like a basket ball. Never again. Moving to a new city is no excuse not to find a good hair salon that will treat you right. read more

But about two weeks ago i definatelly had the best experience there ever. A stylist named stephanie was amazin,she knew exactly what she was doing and what i wanted. Today evening I went to the salon and I was told the waiting time is 20-25 minutes. They wrote my name as first in a white paper. Suddenly, new customers started to show up and they were serviced immediately and my waiting time was going up. Looks like their names were captured earlier. When my turn came up (after waiting for 45 minutes) some body else was called. I walked out and told them the waiting time has exceeded their estimate of 20-25 minutes. They told the 25 minutes was only an approximate estimate. Instead of lying, they should have told the waiting time is 1 hour or more. They don't have the courtesy to apologize. I will never step into this salon again. Hope some responsible person reads this review and reinstate honesty in their business. read more

Hair stylists at this place lack experience. She screwed up my hair by cutting it so short that there is no way I can fix it for another six months. I have been growing my hair for the last 3 yrs and wanted to get a good shape while retaining the length. But she made a mistake and had to chop most of my hair to make it look even. Possibly the worst haircut I have ever had. When I left my hair was wet and messy so I couldn't really see what was going on. I got home and washed and dried it and I am mortified! I asked for side bangs and got a very blunt looking single layer. Very choppy layers in the back. I now get to spend more money to fix this disaster. Had such a terrible experience here and it wil be the las time I will ever step foot in here again for my son. The first time coming here my son got a great haircut by Liz, however when I just went for a second haircut Liz wasn't there and I got stuck with a "new person" who clearly had NO idea what she was doing. She could barely figure out how to attach the clippers the correct way. Ultimately my son left there with an uneven line up and A bald patch in the back of his hair! He's 15 months so I understand he moves around but it she had guards on the buzzers that should have never happened! And not to mention you would think she would cover me so I didn't get hair all over me but nope I did! She needed to stick to sweeping the floors!! I left there very unhappy and without paying. We were immediately impressed with the professionalism of all the staff members and the cleanliness of the salon in general. Everyone was dressed professionally and our services started just a few minutes after we walked in the door. Liz (manager) cut my hair the first visit and I was amazed at how healthy it felt and looked after the cut. She was so knowledgeable and communicated clearly what she was doing each step of the way. She also made recommendations based on my facial shape to give me the look I wanted. The girl who did my husband's hair did an equally amazing job on him. The cut was consistent and she even left enough hair around his cowlick that he didn't walk out with it sticking up. We went back in for cuts again a few nights ago and the other Liz did my hair and it came out great. I don't know how anyone could give this salon any less than 4 or 5 stars. We live in Woburn and make the drive especially to have our cuts done here, because, let's face it you can't find a skilled stylist at a reasonable price just anywhere! read more

My husband took my 3 year old twin boys here yesterday to get a trim. They had longer hair with curls and he just wanted a little taken off. Well each boy had haircuts from different stylists and they are both awful. Not only did they cut off all of the curls but it is uneven all over their head. Long random pieces that weren't even cut. Now most people know that a 3 year old would be difficult to cut because they don't sit still, but I know they can sit for a haircut because I usually do it myself. How can people be licensed to cut hair and not even know how to do a simple trim? The only good thing I can say is the manager was extremely nice over the phone when I called to complain. But she only offered to fix their hair and honestly I would have liked my money back. I don't think I want it fixed at the same place that made such a mess in the first place! I had taken my older son here years ago and was not happy with the cut then. Terrible!! I will never try super cuts again. RUN!! Don't go here!! I came in with a picture of the hairstyle I wanted. I specifically told the girl i wanted it longer than in the picture. She messed it up so bad it ended up being a bob in the front and alittle longer than my sholders in the back. My hair went from beyond the center of my back to a bob when i told her not even an inch!! To make matters worse, she insulted me! She said outloud to her instructor "I cut it too short on this side." Then, her instructor came over and made her cut it right over and over until it was so short i wanted to scream!! I told her "i asked you not to cut it this short" her response was "i had to cut off all your dead hair" are you shitting me!? I know it was because you suck and had to do the shit over and over!
