It takes a lot for me to write a review like this because, until now, I had generally had positive experiences at this location. I would first like to acknowledge Julissa, who was an excellent stylist. It is unfortunate that she is no longer working there. My most recent appointment was the other day. I specifically requested that only the sides be cleaned up, yet scissors were again taken to the top of my hair against my instructions. Unfortunately, this is the second time this has happened at this location, albeit with different stylists. What concerns me is the apparent pattern. No matter how clearly I communicate what I want, or do not want done, the result seems to be the opposite. In this instance, I did not immediately notice what was happening. When I realized hair was being removed from the top, I spoke up and was told it was simply being evened out. At that point, I felt I had little choice but to allow the service to continue. However, approximately an inch of length was removed, and the result is not what I requested. I am genuinely unsure how much clearer I could have been. I can provide reference photos, verbally explain exactly what I want, and explicitly state that only the sides should be cut, yet the top continues to be trimmed regardless. The first time nearly all of my length was removed despite showing 5 reference photos of ME* with longer hair. I cant defend that from any angle. Some stylists may underestimate the importance of preserving length on shorter hairstyles, but even a small amount of removed length can make a significant difference. For that reason, I will not be returning. Everyone I have interacted with at this location has been polite and professional in their demeanor, and I consistently tip generously to show appreciation for good service. However, kindness alone cannot make up for repeated failures to follow clear client instructions. Only one stylist has consistently delivered the haircut I requested, while the others have not. Since she no longer works there and the other stylists are simply not up to the task of their job, I am no longer a client there. I really should have found a professional salon a while ago but I will take this as my sign to do so now. read more

I've been coming here for a few years now and have seen both Cassie and Maddie. They've both been super friendly and do exactly what I ask them to. I always make an appointment, so I don't end up waiting. It's usually not too busy when I go (during weekdays), but you never know. Today, I had a 10:40am appointment, but I got there about 10:25am. Maddie also showed up early, so there was zero wait time and I got out of there earlier than expected. They're convenient, not overly expensive and do a really nice job...what more can I ask?? read more

I came in on Wednesday November 27th the day before Thanksgiving and was setup with the stylist by the name of Maddie. I asked for my usual, trim the top, 1.5 size blade on the sides and to blend the sides into the top. I put my hat on and left thinking everything was fine and gave her a fair tip of almost 30 percent of the haircut. I went home washed my hair and was styling my hair when I realized just how messed the hair cut is. I called the next Friday and was offered a partial refund and denied my request for them to have another stylist fix it. Worst of all my stylist Maddie is the manager, avoid this place it is a huge disappointment and a waste of time and money. I followed Maddie from the Christown location after it closed to her new location. Although my drive is now about 3 times as long to get to her new salon, it's worth it. She's so sweet, always does a great job with my hair, and Supercuts sent some good coupons. I like their rewards program, too, since it adds up and you can get cash discounts on haircuts. Pretty good place here. They have a nice facility. The last few times I came to a Supercuts I have not have to wait at all. Other places had up to 30 minute wait times. Their online checkin is really cool. You can save your place in line without being there quite yet. The employees are great! They really help you get a hair style down. Most times I have no idea how I should cut my hair and they are always up to the challenge to help me out. Every time they have done a great job! They are located in a nice area at 91st and northern. There are a lot of shops around them but had no issue parking near the salon. My hair cuts are pretty basic so I cannot really speak to their other services that are offered. Overall, this is a good place to come and get a basic hair cut done without breaking the bank. They seem to have a lot of coupons and discounts out there so look out for those. read more

If I could give zero stars, I would. Just walked in this morning trying to get my family of three their haircuts, including our seven year old autistic son. Stylist had a horrible attitude and made us feel completely unwelcome. When I mentioned my son is autistic, he immediately snapped that they would not accept him if he can't sit on his own. I don't know why he would assume that my son couldn't sit on his own, and when we asked if we could stand near him for support, he stated "regulations" that we have to stay 5 feet away from him. I don't know when the hair "stylists" here lost the passion for their work, but it's long gone. I came in saying I don't like a certain hair shape, and that's exactly what I was given. I asked for my bangs to not look like they were cut straight across, which she had done, and now they're shorter than I asked.
