I arrived about 10 minutes late for my appointment, which was my own fault, and I completely understand if that caused an issue. When I walked in, a blonde stylist in the back said, "I'll be right with you." I sat down and started checking my work emails. A moment later, she said something I didn't catch, then walked closer and asked, "Can I help you?" I let her know I had a 10 AM appointment. She responded, "Well, if you're late, we usually have to make you wait or reschedule." That seemed reasonable, and I was fine with it, even though there were no other waiting customers--just one person who had just finished their haircut. I replied, "Well, that's just the cost of doing business," intending to acknowledge the situation with understanding. However, she suddenly became defensive, saying, "You do not speak to me that way or mistreat my staff." This took me by surprise, as the entire exchange had lasted less than two minutes, and I had been polite. Not wanting to escalate the situation, I simply left. It was a bizarre encounter, and I hope she approaches future interactions with more positive intent. I would have happily rescheduled or even paid a late fee if that was the policy. I am a long time customer at this maple valley Supercuts because I can get a modestly priced, good haircut, quickly and kindly done. I am older client with fine and thinning hair and this stylist had good suggestions on a cut and style that would make it look fuller. Even if I don't have time or money in a particular day to do a full shampoo and style, they usually are polite and helpful. I consider it a good sign that some of the same stylists have been there for years now. It's not a glamour salon but very practical and comfortable enough (I tried another "inexpensive" salon in the area which had terrible lighting and high turnover on stylists, so I appreciate this) I've not tried coloring services here myself, so can't comment on that. read more

Nothing good about this place, nothing. I can go to asian place and pay 1/3rd of a price, and get better service. Made appointment, than waited 16+ mins, got wrong person that I requested over the phone, took 30 mins to explain simple haircut.. dirty floors. Nothing... After letting my layered hair grow out for almost a year, it lacked shape and was impossible to style. I sought the help of several different salons but was repeatedly disappointed, leaving with the same shapeless haircut. Yesterday, I decided to try again, but with clean, dry hair. I called Supercuts in Maple Valley, and they fit me in immediately. The stylist was extremely patient. She understood exactly what I needed, and over the next half-hour, she carefully shaped my hair, cutting in very conservative half-inch increments. After shampooing and drying my hair this morning, I could hardly believe how great it looked. I'll definitely be back. Thank you, Supercuts! read more

I asked for a cut like a photo I showed the stylist. What I walked out with is a butcher job that looks nothing like the photo. I look like a boy with a bad haircut and I'm NOT a boy. She even said, as she was slicing my hair with a razor, that she was leaving it longer than the photo. NOT!!! My hair looks like a child went after me with a lawnmower set on the lowest level and finished it off with a razor. I cried for hours. I'm trying to find work and this has put my self esteem in the dumpster. I can't wear a hat on job interviews. I left the salon biting my lips so as not to cry in front of anyone. I'm devastated and now I have to wait for months for it to grow and be anywhere close to what it was supposed to be. Extremely dissatisfied and even more angry. read more

Great place to get a hair cut in Maple Valley. The owner is super nice and always accommodating. My kids and won't go anywhere else.

This was a complete waste of time. As I was unable to check in on my mobile app before arriving at this salon, I walked in (the signs clearly state Walk Ins Welcome). I told the stylist I would like to be added to the wait list and she took my name and told me it would be a half hour wait as she was busy with a mom and her 4 boys. While I was waiting, another client arrived and sat down. An hour and 15 minutes later she finally finished with the mom and her kids. Then she called the other client who had arrived after me. I reminded her that she had taken my name an hour and 15 minutes ago and I was told that, since this gentleman had "checked in" on line, he got to go ahead of me. How is that fair?? Needless to say, I had now wasted almost an hour and a half for nothing. I will never go here again. read more

Im new to area near the "Four Corners"/Maple Valley Supercuts location, and 1st came in for a 'men's haircut", shortly after the move. Likely had different owners back then, because I went to a couple other spots nearby, looking for a consistently good cut. I went back after the initial visit, and noticed a vastly different vibe! Two Stylist's we're making me laugh (just listening to their banter). Met Jenifer, & she got me right in, promptly received the best cut I've ever had in 5-10 min (Max), and I knew then, I'd never go anywhere else! The experience (& environment) is always super laid back & fun. I watched them be complimented by Ladies getting full cut & color, all different types of folks, but most amazingly how great they were with the kids! My two young boys had only ever gone to the "kiddie cut places". As of last week, both have come with me to get their first haircut outside of those expensive kid cut places. Really cannot say enough. I've probably been in to see my friends at that Supercuts shop 12 times, but feel like part of the fam! Visted on 6/14/20. This was only one day after they reopened following the easing of covid regulations. Everyone quite rightly was required to wear a mask and it was by appointment only. Despite having an appointment towards the end of the day I was given an excellent haircut by Stacey who I am sure must have had a very long day up until then. We had a great chat about wolves. A very well run operation which kept everything and everyone moving. Highly recommended. read more

I have to say that I have no problem admitting when I am wrong. Came back here to get the boys and myself cut for Christmas Mass and had an amazing experience. Wendy, Shane, and Pamela were great stylists and extremely polite & professional. Wendy cut my hair and was very thorough. The biggest surprise to me was when I checked out, they apologized for my last experience. That caught me off guard and I have to say it was impressive that they remembered about me.
