Every time I think it is going to be different; it's not. There are a few stylists who are great but the others are literally useless. I called last night in my car at 5:25PM to put in my son's name. Jane or Jade puts me on hold.. for 4 mins. That's a long time to be on hold so I hang up and call back and same lady answers "hello"? "Yeah hello I called to put a name in and was on hold for 4 minutes...." "sorry, what's the name?" give her the name and she's says "ok". In my head I am thinking well that sounds to me like I should be on my way over... but I KNOW better so I say "ok so how long is the wait, what time should I be there?" "6:45" "Did you say 6:45 like an hour and 15 minutes from now?" "6:45" "All set thanks, that is ridiculous" I actually wouldn't have minded if she had told me BEFORE I put a name on the list that the wait would be over an hour, I wouldn't have minded if she told me AFTER I had given her a name that the wait would be over an hour but the fact that she didn't even have the customer service skills to say anything other than "OK" astounds me. Then there blondie. not sure if she is the store manager but literally she cuts dudes hair while flirting with them taking her sweet ass time snipping a hair here and a trim here meanwhile there is a back up out the door and she turns and looks at all who enter and sit in the hair studio of hades and goes right back to her customer. 45 minutes later she's done and I am convinced the customer's hair is as it was when they came in. She sweeps the nonexistent hair clippings then runs for the backroom to grab her ciggies and then bolts for her well deserved break...... read more

This Supercuts is fantastic - almost everyone that's cut my hair can competently barber & style to my liking. Personally, I think the store Manager, Ashley B goes above and beyond. Not only does she perfect my haircut but she adds a great conversation and experience when you're there. Wouldn't recommend many people to give a haircut, but Ashley is definitely an excretion. She is completely professional and ensures her staff is always in sync with each other. I don't get my haircut anywhere else! read more

I made an appointment for 12:00 and ended up waiting 40+ minutes. When I tried to tell them that I had called ahead of time, they just told me to take a seat. I asked the person how much longer it would be and if I could go and do something while I waited, she said she would ask her manager, but never did. Terrible service, worse quality. The barber didn't even talk to me the entire time. just take your business around the block up to Kevin Max hair salon. Way better! read more

Never will I ever be going to this ridiculous place again. First, it is TOO pricey for a Supercuts. Second, they need to train all their 'stylists' that if someone asks for one inch off, that means O-N-E inch, not 5! I have desperately tried to grow out my hair a couple of times but only to be snipped away by these unprofessional people. I have never gotten worse haircuts in my entire life than at this place. read more

Appointments are meaningless at Supercuts in Auburndale. I called ahead and was told the next available appointment was at 10:30 so I took it. At 10:25 I walked in and let them know I was there. Others were already waiting so I sat and awaited my turn, wondering if calling ahead really made any difference. After waiting a half hour for my "appointment", they seated someone who had just walked in 3 minutes ago. Why pretend to schedule an appointment? They don't know what they are doing. I haven't had this issue at other Supercuts, but this place is always disorganized. So I walked out, still with long hair. Time to give up on this place, I'll find a better run facility for future haircuts. read more

I just left here feeling like a sheep that got sheared. I asked for a trim, short on the sides, and a little off the top. Simple enough. She buzzed my head in less then 3 minutes then said "there you go honey". I was horrified. I would have complained but she was really annoying me by calling me honey and smiling like she did something great. I paid and ran. I confirmed how bad my under 5 minute shearing was when I got home and had to trim all the hairs she missed. Unless you're looking for a whiffle stay away! Lastly, I tipped the barber out of pity not for her hair cut. read more

I would give fewer than one star if it was possible! Took my 2 year old terminally ill grandson here, waited 20 minutes then was asked to leave as soon as he sat in the chair because he began to cry. The manager rushed over and said in a nasty voice " we won't cut his hair if he cries, you have to leave". The stylist was willing to give it a try but the manager was not.he cried for maybe 30 seconds before we were kicked out. This is not a child friendly salon. And, I suspect they did not want us to stay because my grandson has a visible handicap and the manager did not want him in the salon. I used to get my hair cut here but will never frequent this salon again. read more

Horrible, horrible, horrible customer service. When I arrived I was told there was a 20-30 minute wait to have my kids' hair cut. I said ok and their names were placed on the list. 45 minutes later after several people arriving after us were taken before us I asked how much longer it would be. I was told unapologetically that others had "called in" after we arrived and she hadn't counted them into the time factor and so we were continually being bumped down the list. Really??? Who runs a business this way, wasting customers valuable time and not informing them of changes? Why would people who call in AFTER you arrive and have your name on a list be taken first? I have been a semi frequent customer of this chain for years for convenience but will find every way possible to avoid giving them my business, time and money in the future. read more

This place absolutely sucks. Terrible customer service. I made an appointment on the Supercuts app for 4pm, about 4 hours ahead of time. I get there at 3:52 and I'm told that the wait is 45 minutes. I said that I used the app to book an appointment, and they rudely told me that a reservation is not the same as an appointment and that's why there was such an exorbitant wait. Umm, I'm pretty sure "appointment" and "reservation" are synonymsand mean the exact same thing in this context. Perhaps they need to use a thesaurus. Regardless, what the hell kind of excuse is that? What the hell is the point of making an appointment.if they aren't going to honor it at all. I'm never going back to these dillweeds. read more

Usually a great place to get a cut. You can't beat the price, and I usually call 30 minutes before to get me and my kids on the list so it is pretty quick when I show up. The only reason I can't give it 5 stars is that occasionally we get a bad cut, the quality can be inconsistent. read more

I go to this Supercuts frequently. It is very convenient, fast, and near the dry cleaner that I like. But compared to other Supercuts outlets, I've been surprised that the turnover is extremely high and the staff is at times unprofessional. My bottom line is that this is a reasonable spot if you want a simple cut, but I'd hesitate to recommend them to someone who cared more about service than convenience. read more

I agree, Jade is great. She's been cutting my hair for the past couple years. She is so sweet and always does a good, thorough and professional job. I am extremely picky and from the first time I went I feel she gives me a fifty dollar hair cut for less than half the price. She is a good cutter. read more

WORST Customer Service Ever! Place opens at 8am, I walk in at 8:15am, Asian woman Jade stands there looking at me as if I stole something, no greeting, no good morning, nothing. Just a mean stare. I try to be nice and say hello. She grunts and says "write down name here". Phone rings, she answers and is extremely polite and professional. 2 seconds later a woman customer walks in, Jade is super nice to her. I'm still standing there without being checked in. I ask her if she will be the one cutting my hair. She doesn't answer, instead walks away. After 2 minutes of her chit chatting with her coworker she looks at me and says "come and sit". I stand up and tell her I don't want you cutting my hair and start to walk out, she says "that's fine". From the other reviews I've read here sounds like I'm not the only one who thinks this dump needs new management. I wish I had more hands so I could give this place 4 thumbs down! read more
