I had been a loyal, long-time customer and put plenty of money into this business over the years. Apparently, that loyalty means absolutely nothing to the owner, Pat. Right before I was leaving for a work trip, one of the stylists made a mistake with my hair. I was traveling the very next day, so I called Pat hoping she might show even the slightest concern and find a way to squeeze me in for a quick emergency touch-up. Instead of trying to help fix a mistake made by HER salon, Pat somehow managed to turn the situation around on me and accuse ME--the paying customer--of being disrespectful. There was no meaningful attempt to find a solution, no concern that I was leaving for a work trip the following day, and seemingly zero appreciation for the fact that I had supported her business for YEARS. The conversation ultimately ended with Pat hanging up on me. That tells you everything you need to know about how this business treats customers when something actually goes wrong. It's easy to take someone's money when everything is going smoothly. The true measure of a business is how it responds when it makes a mistake. In my experience, Pat's response was to become defensive, blame the customer, offer no meaningful solution, and hang up the phone. After years of giving this salon my business, I discovered exactly how little my loyalty was worth to them. If this is how a long-time customer is treated over a problem the salon itself created, imagine how you'll be treated when you have an issue. There are plenty of salons that actually value their customers and understand what customer service means. Spend your money at one of them. I certainly wish I had. I was headed out of town on business before the salon would be open again. Meeting my new co-workers next week- I needed cut and highlights today. As I as working to identify possible salons to call, I remembered Dellaria. I had several facials there in the past. I called (great hours- open 7am daily, a little later Sun, and closed Mon). They made me an afternoon appt. with Yelena-her only open slot. I arrived armed with photos and some specifics from my stylist. I hadn't had anyone else touch my hair in 10+ years. I just hoped for some decent highlights and cut- didn't need to be exactly like my previous cut/highlights for me to be happy. Yelena did a fabulous job- she listened, asked questions, and looked at my photos. Very happy with my highlights and cut-great experience. Busy salon- many stylists and stations. I highly recommend.

The photo speaks for itself. Do not be fooled by the planted 5-star reviews of this business from single-review, fake accounts. The moment I entered their store and saw the run-down state of it, I should have turned around and left. She doesn't like my review that exposes the disaster that she created, so she calls it fraudulent. Do I need to show my ID and the card that I paid the bill with? I even gave her $10 tip for the nightmare that she created. She never asked me a single question to find out what I liked and didn't. She just took out her clipper machine and rummaged through my hair with a vengeance. She was in a rush to get me out of the door, so she could get to her old customer, whom she had double booked in my slot. It's not your decision what hair length I should have. Where I had asked to keep a 2.5" length, she kept only 0.5" and cut an extra 2". Where I had asked her to keep 2", she kept 0.5" and cut an extra 1.5", where I asked her to keep 1.5", she kept 0.5" and cut an extra 1". When I go to a new hairdresser for the first time, I take with me a sketch drawn on paper that shows the cut I want and specifies in inches, written in numbers on the sketch, the length that I like to keep in different sections of my head. The price I paid? $780!!!!! It was a SINGLE COLOR process to match my dark hair and was suppose to be an edgy A cut (longer in the front, shorter in the back type of bob). What did I get? A GOLDEN BLONDE root and the haircut of Edna from The Incredibles. I kept telling Marco, that isn't the look I was going for. He asked me to be patient for the final result. At the end, when he dried (fried) my hair, he quipped, you look so cute! it's like you put on 15lbs without actually putting any! Well, geez! That's a new type of compliment!! Looking fat without having gained any weight and then paying ridiculous $780 for it! Sasha was defensive of her lousy job by saying she didn't know she had my appointment and she had to be creative (take shortcuts) to keep my appointment and Marco was so full of himself. Honestly, if I had paid more attention to the website earlier, I would've posted this after my very first visit! Paula is a true expert--she knows exactly how to work with my slightly wavy, sometimes unruly Asian hair. Her cuts are consistently an art, and so is her coloring--always natural, flattering, and beautifully done. I constantly get compliments! Not only is Paula amazing, but the entire team--Erin, Magdalena, Teresa, and Lisa (the wonderful owner of Renzo Salon)--are just as warm and welcoming. You can truly see how well they get along and support each other, which creates such a relaxed, family-like atmosphere. It honestly feels like a place where everyone knows your name--just like the classic sitcom Cheers--you're not just a client, you're part of the community. My husband is also a regular and loves his haircuts just as much. Even our college-aged kids look forward to visiting the salon when they're home for the holidays! On top of all that, the pricing is very reasonable for the quality of service. We always leave feeling great. Highly recommend!

Neither the stylist (Trish) nor the makeup artist (Preeti) paid any attention whatsoever to what I asked for, and both were very resistant to make any changes and just told me they could do things differently on my wedding day. Um. Not the point of a trial. Maybe it was late in the day and they wanted to go home, or had bad days, whatever, but it sucked. Plus I went with two friends and they were made to feel about as uncomfortable as guests could possibly feel--in a basically empty salon. I left feeling absolutely terrible about myself, with an updo that frizzed out within two hours, and makeup I washed off when I got home it made me so unhappy. (Also: when a makeup artist stabs you in the eye, it happens; but they should probably say a quick "sorry" rather than point out how now they're going to have to redo your bottom lid liner.) I left a voicemail at the salon saying I was unhappy with services and canceling my bridal appointment. They did not call back.
