You don't get what you ask for. I highly doubt if anyone is properly educated and trained fully. Haven't had one descent cut after trying 4 of them. All attitude don't take what you want into consideration come out looking horrible will never ever go back to this excuse of salons. I wasn't going to post a review because I know business is hard during covid but I honestly haven't ever been this upset about a haircut. This was my first time going to Supercuts because it was near and I didn't want anything crazy, so thought it would be fine. I just wanted layers, keeping the length. The stylist Chris cut the pieces of hair around my face virtually in half so that the hair near the front of my head is bob length and only the strands at the back are still long. The left side and right side are also very different and after going back in to see if he could even it out, he said it was because of my hair coloring so it looked uneven. However I literally have different length hair on each side. It looks like I have an elongated mullet. I know it's just hair and will eventually grow out, but I spent a lot of money on my balayage and it took a lot of time to grow my hair out to this length so I'm honestly extremely upset about this haircut. He turned my chair away from the mirror and I wasn't able to see what was going on. There wasn't a lot of communication which also contributed to the end result. Some good things about the place: it's clean and well kept. The stylist wore a mask. Not crowded. I'm sure they're able to do other cuts well, but please consider allowing the customer to see what's going on in the mirror and communicating frequently so this doesn't happen. read more

They cater to my anxiety issues and when I want something fun and new with my hair they have great ideas that are wild but not enough to give my a panic attack. Call ahead no longer used at this location. Seems to always be a long wait no matter what time you come. Prices have gone up to $17 for a basic haircut. The stylists I have had seem to do an ok job, but my hair I've been told is very easy. read more

Worst hair salon ever! I had 12:15 check in (from Supercuts website) & waited 15 min before I was told it would be another hour. There was one person ahead of me, the lady with white & red hair said she had to take her break so she couldn't do it. She was extremely rude, but in the long run I think she did me a favor. Her hair was so bad & I was afraid for her to do my hair. I ended up going to the one on Sunrise and I'm so happy that I did. I don't expect a lot from Supercuts, but the lady with the rooster hair has to go. Her attitude is terrible. btw; my husband & sister said they will no long go there either. read more

Had Crystal cut my hair a couple of times and she did a GREAT job! However, she wasn't there the last time and used new stylist. I think her name was Allison. DO NOT let her cut your hair. All she did was chop at my hair and made it totally unstylable. Asked her to cut back shorter but said, "Oh no you can't do that.". It's my hair! Have heard good things about the rest of crew here so will try someone else next time. Definitely not Allison. read more

I had a coupon from a popular group coupon site which clearly stated to make a reservation for my "WASH & CUT". I called Sunday and was 'greeted' by a girl who got snippy (and not in a good way) as soon as i mentioned the coupon. I was told to call back Monday after 9am to make my appointment. (she was CLEARLY too busy, or distracted to pick up a pencil. I stewed on the treatment but Tuesday called. I was told in a most cheerful voice to come over anytime and they'd do it.. no problem. This SEEMED like a good sign. Hmm.. not so much. Their website said to look at the pics and print up the one that is how you want your hair. When I arrived, the place was dead. I was greeted in a cheerful manner. The 'stylist' (and I'm using the term LOOSELY), sat me in the chair then examined the coupon. She didn't seem the least bit familiar with the item. I showed her the hairdo pick and she was off and running. My hair was still moist from the morning when I'd braided it keep it outta my face while sweating over an outdoor project. She proceded to tell me my hair felt waxy and that it would be sooo much better if I bought THEIR products. That didn't convince me, so then she explain why I should get my hair colored. OK, enough of the up-sell. I DID need my brows waxed and HER'S looked great, so I asked about. Yes, of course she could do it. When she was done with her imitation of a stylist, I couldn't get out of there quick enough. Sadly, my mother's famous cereal bowl haircuts would have been better. And my eyebrows? Well, I look REALLY angry. OK, I AM, but let's just say A razor would have the exactly the same "un"-curve. NO, she didn't wash my hair. gave it some squirts with the water bottle, then whacked away at it. I left NEEDING to go home and pluck my brows and hope that my hair grows back soon. OH, and I needed to WASH my hair. What a deal. NO, I wasn't expecting a magnificent cut. But I WAS trying to avoid cutting it myself. SO, I paid for the coupon, and the wax,and even a tip (though I regretted it the moment I looked in the mirror). It was NOT a time saver because I had to put the rest of my day on hold to try to patch things up on my noggin. What a deal. While I was there I also saw some other customers who were treated hmm.. overly casually to an offensive degree. I don't know how much of the problem was because of the coupon. It's supposed to be a deal, not a steal. And I definitely felt ripped off. read more

Hello, my name is Teresa Collins. I am emailing, to report an incident that occurred. I went to a Supercups Establishment, on 7-19-2019 at 2:30pm to get a haircut and eyebrow wax. The lady, that helped me I later found out is the manager. She told, me that she'd do the eye wax first since that's the quickest. I don't know, if she's not familiar with waxing eyebrows, or never done it before. She ended up, leaving a pretty noticeable burn just under my left eyebrow. I didn't, realize there severity of it until the next day. I initially, thought it was a little red. That typically happens, and goes away after 30-45 minutes. At that time I didn't think to much of it. However, next day I realized it was in fact a burn. At which point, I called the Supercuts location that I visited. The lady that answered, the phone said the manager "Alex" is off until Thursday. I then, explained to this lady that this person "Alex" Alexandra had been there person who helped me with my haircut and eyebrow wax. I absolutely, loved the haircut no issues at all. I did, express to her that Alex had left a pretty noticeable burn under my eyebrow. She expressed fake concern, and asked if I wanted to speak with the GM about this matter. I said, yes absolutely. She told me that the GM Jessica is off but, took down my information. She, said that Jessica would contact me at the latest Monday. Here, it is already Monday and I have yet to hear back from her. read more

After three attempts to get my haircut done at the Supercuts on Wilmot I drove by the Supercuts on Tanque Verde to see how long I haircut would take. I was told the typical 15 minutes wait and was pleasantly surprised when three minutes later I was called up to a chair. Alysia H. Was my stylist, and she really cared about getting my haircut right! She spent a few minutes talking to me about how I wanted my cut done, how short, where my sideburns were gonna lay, and I think a few other questions just to get me more comfortable being I just met her. She went right to work and as we are having a pleasant conversation she skillfully completed my haircut in no time flat! It was one of the best experiences and haircuts I think I've ever had!There truly is a difference between someone who loves what they do and someone who just does it to get a paycheck. I have definitely found a new place to get my haircut, and I will follow Alysia where ever she goes! read more

If I could leave zero stars I would. Lady that cut my hair didn't listen to a word I said. I told her 3 times I only wanted a small amount taken off she took over an inch and a half off! When I said I didn't think it could be any shorter she said yes it could. Also gave my bangs a bowl cut and back was uneven and choppy. Horrible service and horribly rude "stylist". read more

I signed onto the Supercuts web site for the next available time at their Tanque Verde salon in Tucson, AZ. I was given a time of 3:30. I arrived on time but had to wait 15 minutes for Alex to complete a haircut. Then she called to another customer for her haircut. I softly said that I had made an appt. for 3:30. She snapped back that those were NOT appts, but estimates of time and that the other woman had walked into the store AFTER I had made my appt. so she was next. So what's the sense in signing in on the internet if you still end up at the bottom of the list??? We will NOT be returning to Supercuts. read more

Great spot for a basic maintenance hair cut. I have been visiting Tucson for the holidays and my dad needed to get a hair cut for a wedding. He is a budget minded guy, so we opted for Supercuts. The salon is clean and well kept. There was almost no wait time and we were greeted promptly. Dad's haircut was done swiftly and done well. I chose to have a shampoo, cut & blow dry, as always. Monica was my stylist, and she did a very good job. She listened to what I wanted and repeated it back to me which made me confident I could trust her ability. She was gentle with the shampoo (I was hoping for more of a scalp massage but it's not really that kind of place). She gave me a nice cut and was respectful of my long layers (my hometown Hairy Godmother is Maria at Encore in Modesto). She finished with the blow dry, mentioning she wished they had "silk drops" for my hair but were out of stock...bummer. Overall, a good experience. I recommend Monica to anyone needing a skilled stylist's cut that comes with a modest price tag. read more
