Getting started was so easy! There are tablets just to the side of the counter where we were able to submit our waiver. After that, all we had to do was pay for our play! The young man at the counter was very nice and explained how everything worked since this was our first time! The sand play was such a fun experience! Honestly, this entire concept is every kid's dream...sand+toys=hours of fun...what more do you need lol! My littles had a blast here! As a parent, I enjoyed myself as well! It's the little details for me! This place is immaculately clean and you can tell every detail has been thoroughly thought out...from the toys in the box, to the coffee for parents, all the way down to the music selection (love when I hear Christian music playing in establishments)! We had an amazing time here and are totally looking forward to coming back!

Okay, mistakes happen. I wasn't happy but they accommodated (after I told them I would not move the party because the invites were already sent and they contacted me 1 week prior). Then, we arrive at 2:45 (party was at 3). They said they would get our party host and get us to our space. At 3:00, guests started arriving and we were still waiting for our party host in the lobby. Mind you, still holding the cake and all our stuff to decorate, etc. I rejoined the line because I'm not waiting any longer at this point. Finally talk to someone at 3:04. And at that time, a girl walks in on her phone. Our party host . Then we get to our space and she couldn't find the light switch to turn on the lights, doesn't have the socks, doesnt have wrist bands, doesn't have the list of waivers, I could go on. The kids didn't get to play until like 3:45. Then they were called back for pizza and cake. And to top off the day, they made us leave at 4:30 as scheduled. I was embarrassed and pissed. I will mention to keep this story completely truthful, they gave us $60 off our bill of $300. Thanks..?

The farm land is huge and the animals are all well behaved so even if you're scared, you won't be for long. We took the Girl Scout troop on an outing here and the girls loved it. Kadeem is really eager about introducing farm life to city kids and helping make the comfortable and knowledgeable. I loved the way he allowed them to interact with the animals in ways they would never be able to other places. He does not restrict the kids and uses everything as a learning opportunity. My daughter was upset we had to leave without the alpaca. We will definitely be returning again. They also do petting zoo and horse rides for parties. He was so nice to even walk with my daughter bc she was scared to ride. 10/10 I definitely recommend to anyone looking for an up close, personal. Memorable animal experience!

Beyond that, there are more play structures and a basketball area with trampolines. In the back half of the building, there's a rice pit (basically like a sandbox, but with rice instead of sand), a very fun smaller ball pit with interactive screens - throw the balls at the video game projection and blow up the bad guys, a lego area, and a small arcade (additional purchase required). We saw dozens and dozens of kids having the best time of their life. There was a good amount of seating for adults throughout the building, so we always had a place to sit to keep an eye on the kids. There are lots of hand sanitizer stations throughout and we frequently saw workers with vacuums. We played for 3 hours and our kid could have stayed much longer. I would guess older kids might get bored more quickly, but for preschool or early elementary kids, Smiley seems like heaven. You do have to buy the Smiley grippy socks, but that's a standard penalty for play places these days. After you're done playing, hit up Bugambilias a few doors down for amazing Mexican food!

Busy Bees Play Café in Carmel is the perfect spot to grab a coffee while the kids play. There have been plenty of changes every time we visit and I have loved the design each time. The play area is clean and thoughtfully designed. You can tell everything was created with parents and child safety in mind! The staff are friendly and do a good job of making their rounds to tidy up! There's a great variety to keep little ones entertained. I love that I can actually relax with a coffee (which was delicious, by the way!) while still keeping an eye on my kids. Another nice touch is that there are plenty of helpful things in the bathrooms (extra clothes, diapers, wipes, etc) for parents who may have forgotten something. This happened to me the first time we visited and I was so grateful! If you're looking for an easy, fun outing with your kids (especially on cold or rainy days), Busy Bees is a must-visit. The kids will need grip socks while playing, but you can bring in your own. They are also a nut-free facility which is a plus for parents like me who has a child with a nut allergy. My little kids can be here for hours while I work, so will definitely be back again and again!

The cafe is large and clean with a variety of different formats for the children to play in. Having a dress up area, some segmented areas for blocks and trains, and individual "store fronts" was great. Our kids had a wonderful time. The only reason I took a star away was inconsistent application of rules as many children were not wearing grip socks while it was included as a requirement. We were asked to purchase these from the cafe when we checked in... which if it is an established rule is fine, but a little annoying that the rule isn't universally applied. The play cafe is also a bit more expensive at ~$17 per child ages 1-10 with no discount for multiple children (as of Feb 2026) compared to other play cafes we have been to. It also did start getting quite crowded around 10:00 AM and there didn't seem to be an end in sight. Still, it is a nice cafe and I'd recommend it to others looking for a place to take your kids, especially if you can avoid the peak periods.

I will admit that the food is a bit on the pricey end but oh well. The pizza is good though. They have a private parking lot there, but it gets packed during peak hours. I came on a Saturday afternoon and ended up parking in the lot across the street. You must have their socks to participate in the fun. Everyone must also fill out a waiver and spectators must also pay to enter the slide area (which is different from other similar parks that I have been to. To save time, I recommend completing the waiver online. The place was very chaotic when I was there. There was kids all over the place. The lines for the slides did move relatively quickly though. The staff there, from top to bottom is very friendly, helpful and welcoming. I was very impressed, especially considering that they deal with screaming kids all day. Great job to them and whoever does the hiring. For those having a party there, you are giving a dedicated table with a server. The party area is in an open fenced off area. They do not have party rooms. There are a few places in the play area for caregivers to sit while the little play, but those places few and far between. The slides there are awesome. They are huge and some can appear a bit intimidating. I wish I had a place like this when I was little. They also have a small zip line, a two basketball courts. There is also an area for little kids to play as well. I really like this places vibe. It is relatively clean and trendy, with big murals all over the walls. I sure hope that the Greenwood location, that they have been talking about for years opens soon. Either way, I am sure that I will be back to this place very soon.

I filled out the waiver forms that my best friend sent me in advance as she paid for me. A little background, I'm a parent of a 5 year old with autism who needs to be watched at all times. My best friend was aware so she told me I'd be ok being with him. When my family arrived and went to check in for the party the young lady checking us in gave me a wrist band and socks for my son. I tried to put it on him, but he refused because it's a sensory thing. I told her that I will wear it as he will never not be out of my reach and she told me no. I put it on my wrist anyway, because I'm going to keep my son from any unnecessary behaviors. Then I asked about my pair of socks and she gave me a wrist band that stated I was just a spectator and told me I cannot go with him down the slide. Well my intention is not to go down the slide with him, but I would assist him getting to the slides. Met with another no. After that, I was over it and just walked to the party and let my husband take him to the soft play area. I did inform my best friend about, but at that time I was over it and didn't want to ruin my god-daughters party. I don't know, the overall experience left me frustrated.
