Really fun experience if you like to go FAST! You could go slow, but why?!!! Awesome facility with cool decor and several arcade games to play. We went on a Tuesday evening and the place was fairly empty (the perk of having your date night in the middle of the week), so we didn't have to wait long for our races to be called up. The staff isn't that friendly or enthusiastic. We paid ahead through their website, but was told once we got there that we have to pay tax because the website doesn't know where you're purchasing from?! Sounded a bit fishy to me, especially since the young man that helped us didn't quite seem to know what he was doing. We showed him the confirmation email and he kept asking for the actual receipt...our credit card info was right there. I think this is the receipt, sir! The package we got came with a t-shirt and they had several to choose from, but they were out of many of them. The spill went a bit like "adult sizes are available for numbers 12-22 and 25, but we're out of 15, 16, 18, 19 and 21." I don't recall the actual #s, but it ended up being slim pickings! I would suggest not purchasing that package until you know which style of shirt you want and if it is available. My fiance said that he read somewhere about their cleanliness protocols (maybe on the website) and it said that they sanitize the helmets after each race. This isn't the case at all. We didn't observe them sanitize them at all and we had two races and stuck around to play games afterwards. We even asked one staff member if we should hand in the helmets for sanitizing and he told us to just set them back on the shelf and they would "figure it out later." The concession area has beer and wine on the menu, but we were told that they didn't have any wine. Also, still not sure about their scoring for the races.....I was lapping people AND my fiance stayed in my rearview the entire first race, but he somehow outranked me?! The math isn't mathing. LOL Sidenote: They have a really nice winner's podium for photo ops.

My cousins having a terrible time

DOG SHIT. Waited for an hour to race on go carts that weren't even that fast. Over hyped. Would not recommend. They took away the fries and you can no longer buy french fries. Never coming back Edit. You know what. Racing was fun. Over priced though. (Note: i made the review before i actually raced.

K1 Speed was SOOO MUCH FUNNNN!!! I know this is a late review, but i wanted to express how amazing and incredibly helpful this place was for me! I was planning a surprise birthday party for my best friend and I had invited about 12 people. I highly recommend you to make a reservation. In order to rent out the entire track for your party you need to at least have 12 people. I had to put my card on file in case if someone cancels the day before the event. They will let you know if someone does cancel, you are responsible for paying their admission fee for holding that time slot. I was working with the event manager for the whole entire event and last minute five people canceled on me the day of the party. I was in tears because I was stressing out about that cancellation fee for each person that had canceled day of . Luckily the manager was so sweet and told me I just want you guys to have a good time, they took care of the rest so that I could enjoy the birthday party that I had planned with less stress. They didn't have to do that, but they did and it was so accommodating and it made the night 10 times better. Believe me I was in tears, imagine inviting 12 people and five people cancel on you the day of. That sucks. Regardless I had a great time, I rented out the party room and that ran me about $100+. You can also do a party pack where they will bring out pizza and soda for you but I didnt do that since people cancelled. Regardless my best friend had an amazing time and I think everyone else did as well. Thank you so much K-1 Speed for making that event 10 times better!!!!

We went here for my husband's bday--what a treat! It's not cheap, but it's a fun date night. For about $20 a race (give or take depending on your package), you can take an 8-12 min lap around if you dare! I would imagine this place would be ideal for bday or work parties where you can get more bang for your buck. In a post-covid world, I would definitely do that!

My partner and his friends decided to go Go Karting after brunch. I was too full, but had fun watching them race. They each spent $50+ for the race. They were attended right away. We had to wait an hour for their turn. What I liked about this location was that there were different things to do while we waited. They have a full on snack and alcohol stand. You can order pizza, nachos, fries etc. Along with your drink. Their couches were comfortable and I noticed they had a couple of back massaging chairs. They only had a couple of arcade games, pool table, and air hockey. We did not play the games, but it was good to know there were things to do while one waited. The space is massive and quite fun to be inside. There were a couple car displays and other race car art. I highly recommend for large groups.

Even though this place is pretty expensive at first glance, the experience is truly next level. I was in town visiting my children and they've never been. My oldest has dreams of racing nascar and wanted to get started in karts. They offer full metrics for lap time, point standings and best of week times. They offer beer and wine for the non-driving adults as well as a solid food menu and snacks for the kids. They offer junior carts for kids up to 56" and full speed adult karts. All electric. 10-12 laps per race

On a recent Saturday only one gate was open, even though multiple events were being held in different buildings. The entrance off Binford was closed, and some of the gates on 38th street were closed. I admit that it has been a number of years since I've been to the Stare Fair, so I was surprised by all the updates and building expansion. The remodeled swine barn could be featured in House Beautiful. The building is spacious, immaculate and super functional. It's an amazing state of the art facility. My granddaughters loved seeing the mother and baby pigs. The $2 specials on Fair food gave us a chance to taste many different Fair delectable. The Key Lime shakes at the dairy barn were a big hit with us. The girls also had the mini funnel cakes, which they loved. We tried the hand cut fries, which were delicious. I wanted to try more foods, but there was so much to do and see, that we just didn't have time. The kids enjoyed petting and feeding the sheep and goats in the FFA building. There were many educational activities for them. We rode the Sky Ride that ran over the Midway. The relaxing ride offered great views of the fair. We purchased tickets for rides for the kids. There was special pricing for all the rides for $2 Tuesday. The kids rode about six rides for $30, and we all enjoyed the Ferris Wheel as a family. The day wasn't without a couple issues. The Midway lost power for 20 minutes, just as the rides were getting started. The kids were antsy, but we weathered the wait. My granddaughter also got injured on a large slide/ride. She came down the slide and went airborne a bit, bruising both elbows on landing. I think they should shut that ride down. I also would have liked to see more shaded seating. The afternoon got hot! I never did find restrooms. We always love taking a trip on the tractor train around the grounds. I loved that the hostess on the train pointed out features of each stop. We got in one trip before the Fair got too crowded that there were no seats. Entry was only $2 on Tuesday, compared to $16 for other days. A family should expect to spend well over $100 to visit the Fair, including $10 parking. We got there very early and got a great parking space. Getting through security was fast early in the morning. Exiting the parking lot was easy as well. While we didn't get to see everything we wanted, we had a memorable visit for our granddaughters. The facilities are top notch.

10/22/21 Novelty…read moreRedemption??? You mean Novelty Inc. Bracelets seem to be my thing.  Nothing to flashy or having to much going on, but something I find appealing.     Last week I came across two novelty bracelets at Sheetz Gasoline Station.   These bracelets were made for Cancer Awareness Month of October.    I must say I wasn't really into the light pink bracelet rope, but loved the light and dark pink beads.  The icon of the cancer  symbol is on one of the beads. I have been wearing this cancer bracelet since Sunday October 10th.  I have come to like this light pink bracelet.  This coming Saturday on October 23rd, I plan to but the dark pink version of the bracelet.    I lost two of my family and to cancer, so getting a second bracelet seems fitting.    Wearing bracelets seem to be much more comfortable than wearing rings.  I tried wearing a ring a few months ago, but it didn't work for me.  I honestly don't know why my wife and I bought  wedding rings since we now no longer wear them, but I am digressing again.  In any case, I find these bracelets comfortable,  but I did make a few minor adjustments to the bracelet.   I noticed the way the knots were tied at the end of the strings were weak.  I knew they would come unraveled at some point,  so I made two new knots.  I also burnt  the tips of the strings so they would not come apart again.  I will definitely do this again on the new bracelet I aquire on Saturday...if they still have them. If they don't have them at this gas station, I will find them.  I like what Novelty INC  is selling.   I might have to check them out online.   The rope/nylon  appears to be strong than 4 Ocean's bracelets when I had at one point.  The string broke which is why I don't wear it.   I hope this rope is strong and we will find out after three months.   If the bracelet makes it more than two months from continuous wear,  the Novelty INC 's rope is stronger.  Guess we are going to find out.
