I have a convertible which has a 20+ aged top of vinyl which needed to be replaced, given the upcoming Spring showers. I had a top which is intact but needed to be either repaired or completely replaced. I had shopped around and I was getting all sorts of priced quotes. Jose, the owner, was honest and told me to probably replace the whole top, which had to be ordered. He gave me a middle quote and it worked with my budget. He just needed a 10% deposit and he told me to bring the car in once the top came in. It was a little over a week, but he was able to get the parts in and he told me he could replace it in a day.I brought my car in at Opening and he had all the work done in a full business day. I picked it up the next day and it was exactly what quoted me and the work was perfectly installed new top. I will definitely keep his business in mind if I needed any upholstery work done to my cars. read more

I stopped by this business to see if they could stitch a console cover for my 68 Shelby Mustang. These covers tend to tear due to elbow stress. This was my first time using upholstery services and Superior Auto & Upholstery made it pretty straight forward. I needed to get my headliner reupholstered and they were able to accept the cardboard piece itself and was given a fair price. They did an amazing job replacing the old fabric with the new. The photo I've attached was just the middle of my progress of securing the headliner back on my own, but I intend to show how nicely they stuck that fabric on there. I brought my 2015 Lexus RX450H to Jose a few weeks ago by the recommendation of Lexus of Concord. I called Jose that afternoon and he said I could stop by on my way home from work to take a look. At that time, he spent a good amount of time with me, sharing fabric swatches, etc. that he would recommend for my vehicle. He was very precise on his color match and extremely professional - he is most definitely an expert! A couple of weeks later, I called to schedule the appointment and he was able to get me in ASAP. Jose is a friendly guy who does great work. He's in a strip mall full of other car repair, auto body, etc.. type shops. It's very crowded and parking is not easy. BUT, it's worth the slight inconvenience to have the work done right. He's not cheap, but the quality is very good. I have a 2009 E350 Mercedes that the front driver seat had become cracked. Turns out, they use vinyl on these cars...go figure. Anyway Jose ordered the right material and about a week later did the repair. Completed all work in a day. Turned out looking like new. Very happy and confident in referring business to Jose. read more

Jose is a very nice and reasonable man. Took my 2014 Ford Taurus here to have the drivers seat foam repaired due to it being worn out from many hours as a Lyft driver. Not only was it repaired, but he used thicker foam than the used factory and now the seat is even more supportive than when I bought the car. Excellent service and gets the job done quick. Always watching soccer when you go in and standing around, yet told 4 different people different stories and excuses every time when asking when they can do the work. No follow through and says he busy for months when they are always just standing there doing nothing. several different large jobs that could have been done, but excuse after excuse, doesn't order the fabric... just a mess of a place and a WASTE of time. Asked them to replace the bottom seat covers on my 2001 Tacoma pick-up. They did that and also replaced the foam cushion material on both seat bottoms too. They now look and feel like new. They do excellent work and the price was fair. Jose had us pick from fabric books to match color/pattern. He called me when material arrived and scheduled date to drop off the truck. I have an Acura MDX with 142,000 miles on it. I want to keep the car for as long as I can. The upholstery was splitting on the drivers seat, the front passenger seat, and the back bench seat (so basically everywhere). The dealer was quoting me thousands of dollars to replace all the seats. I called Jose at Superior Upholstery and he suggested I come in to talk to him. He looked at my seats and said that if he uses leather he already had it would be about $700 to fix everything. The leather he showed me didn't quite match, but I was okay with it. He told me my car would be ready in two days. Two days later he called me to say it was ready. I was absolutely delighted when I picked it up. Jose had taken the time to dye the leather so it ended up being a very close match. It looks great! I am very impressed with Jose and I can recommend Superior Upholstery without reservation. read more

Bought a 2002 Ford Expedition Eddie Bauer with 105K and in need of some TLC. The driver side seat was splitting and cracked all over. My other mechanic recommended Jose to me.
