The finished job was beautiful. The shower room looked like new. On December 23, a water leak started in the ceiling above the small bathroom downstairs. I called a plumber but unfortunately with two plumbers showing up they could not find the source of the leak. I never expected that I would be calling Kris again to tear the ceiling down in order to find the source of the water leak. I was nervous that with Christmas less that two days away that I would never find someone available to fix the water damage and plumbing issue. I called Kris the second time and without hesitation he said I'll be there in half an hour. As promised, he showed up and assessed the situation. We agreed that it can wait until the 26th to tear the ceiling down since the water leak was not so extensive. He came back on the 26th and tore the ceiling and found the source of the water leak. He was able to save ¾ of the ceiling (1/4 of which were tiled). To my surprise he told me that he will only charge me 45% of the original cost for the tear down. I never knew a contractor who values honesty so much to save you more money. The plumber came back later and repaired the leaking pipe. After the plumbing was done, Kris put new insulation, replaced the ceiling, applied fresh new paint, and replaced the exhaust fan. I could not be happier with the quality of work that Kris had done at a reasonable price. It was around the holiday and all I could say is that Kris took that stress away from us knowing that we have the right man with great skills to finish and deliver a job well done. The first time, a ceiling panel randomly fell down. (Not one they had worked on - we moved into a new house and a panel fell one night). They came out promptly and repaired. Then, another one fell down a couple weeks later, and again, Mario came right out, gave us a quote, and repaired! One of the pics is of the panel. Doesn't look like much because it's a white ceiling, but it's perfect! Then, we have this doorway/frame separating our living room and family room. We tore off the trim, my partner made an arch shape (to match the other doorways), and we asked Mario and his team to come drywall, plaster, and paint the whole entry way/sides/etc. They made it absolutely spectacular. In the front, they scraped and prepped the entryway, front door, and 2nd floor bay window as well as removing and patching the transom frame to open the space up--they then painted everything including the window trim across all three floors. In the rear of the home they scraped our wood siding and replaced any rotted wood with PVC, then repainted in a color drench. The team also removed a wood basement entry structure that was rotting in the back and replaced with a newly framed door. Lastly the team also removed old and installed new custom basement windows in the front granite of our home including new trim and waterproofing, as well as painting. The team also did small finishing touches at no extra charge including installing a new entry light and hanging window boxes. We are already planning future projects with Mario and his team!

Frank was a no show to give me an estimate, no communication that he was running late or unable to make it. He accommodated coming early one morning to give an estimate that seemed fair. Fast forward to when they were scheduled to do the work, 30 minutes past start time no sign of Frank's team and no communication. Contact the office find out that they won't make it today. My experience has been poor communication and unreliableness. Won't be giving them a chance to reschedule and waste anymore of my time. It was a small job so maybe not worth the effort to provide good customer service. Seeing the business's response adding this - I understand things happen and I am not expecting perfection by any means but a little bit of respect for my time and communication would have been nice.
