I rate Woodhaven Plumbing & Heating four stars as they have bad attendance of having two no-shows despite of numerous appointments with the added incentive office location within walking distance-- ergo, no excuse! After removing the existing parts of the toilet and shower knobs, the dude announced: "these parts are very bad that I put in all new parts buddy." Duh, really... no kidding Sherlock! I took him at his professional word and approved the work on that basis. It did not last 12 hours. The system stopped working the same day. Only afterward did I read the fine print on the invoice, which says the opposite of what I was told in person: that a recharge carries no guarantee of operation for any period of time and that the refrigerant may keep leaking. So I was sold a "summer" fix verbally, handed a disclaimer in writing, and left with a system that quit before the next morning. To make it worse, no one had the courtesy to call me and let me know the outcome of the conversation with their technician. Having managed large operations for years, I know there's a right way and a wrong way to do business: set honest expectations, stand behind what your technician promises, and communicate directly. None of that happened here. My advice, get every promise in writing before you approve any work, or better yet, call someone else.
