Worst Experience i've had in a long time, permanent damage to dashboard on parts that couldnt be replaced, there excuse was there tech of over 10 years quit, so there using the new guys, they'll take jobs they have no knowledge of how to do & will use your vehicle for the new tech as a learning experience. they also dont check their work, jobs will leave unfinished & a disaster. i had 6 " professonals" learning how to learn how to do the job from youtube in my presence after they failed the first time. refused any type of refund. stay far away from this establishment. complete joke. read more

I so Highly recommend Superior Radio have been using them for years. You can't get any better service or nicer people to do business with. Had security and auto start installed in my car & my sons old car got AutoStart and a new audio system. Just got a new cars and the auto start that the dealer installed was terrible every time I clicked my car to lock if I hit it 3 times by accident it would start my car fixed and would never go back to dealer for this. WARNING - BIG RIP OFF! Owner Bill Giordano damaged my vehicle installing a back-up alarm that doesn't work. He burnt out my dash lights and my heater and radio stopped working. HE REFUSED TO FIX saying "THAT STUFF HAPPENS, IT'S JUST A COINCIDENCE!" I waited 6 weeks without heat for dealer to replace dashboard bulbs, heater controls and radio, over $2,000. ROSTRA will not guarantee back up alarm because of improper installation. Worst place I have ever done business. read more

I just stopped in, my radio was not working on a used car that I had just bought, the man working the counter came right out to my car, re-connected a disconnected antenna and got my radio working in a few minutes. Then he said no charge, but I insisted and gave him something for his kindness. That is top notch customer service! Nice to see it still exists! I highly recommend going there for electronic issues. Been using this place for many years and for whatever reason forgot to write a review. Let's put it this way, they tinted my windows on my 88 mustang. That said I have had a few stereos installed over the years for both myself and my kids. Additionally I have had automatic starters installed as well. I recently inquired about about installing a new stereo into a Mercedes I bought for my son and rather than try to upsell me and talk me into something crazy they took my number and said they would call and inquire about other options for me. This is what America is lacking, small businesses who are looking out for the consumer. You want to shop at Walmart and Amazon go ahead, when you're shitty product isn't what was promised or it breaks good luck getting a refund or having a work around. Couple their knowledge with the fact that it's a family run business and I'm all in. read more

Good workmanship but very poor customer service. Oct. 6, 2020,I had a subwoofer replaced in Lexus sc430. It took almost 3.5 hours however, I asked to use the men's room upon which I was refused. I was told that items were previously stolen so they no longer permit public access. The owner then suggested I go around the corner to Dunkin Donuts. Can you believe the nerve. I was extremely disappointed. I spent $297.00, and he would not allow me, a 76 year old air force veteran, to use the bathroom. Needless to say, I will spent my money elsewhere. read more

Just started working with these folks. I find them to be outstanding. They installed cameras in a couple of trucks for us. Great work Then a small problem one of the cameras stops working. I have not had a radio for over 6 months. I finally bought a new radio and I brought it to superior radio & security. The customer service was great and I got an appointment right away. The person who sold me the car completely messed up the radio but superior quickly fixed it and made it sound a million times better than it ever did to begin with and was very generous with the price. So I called a few places for car starter, and while this place was some what high in terms of price, however they were extremely nice on the phone and took their time to explain what they could do and the location is close to my work; I decided to pick them right there and then and proceeded to make my way over there. I arrived and they took care of my car almost immediately and while they took care of the installation, I tried to connect to their free, customer wifi but it didn't connect. The whole ordeal took about ninety minutes after which I paid and headed out. All in all the installation is great and works extremely well. They did a great job making it non-obstructive and kept it all very clean. No tangles, no faulty audio - good quality for the price you pay for. Pretty solid experience all-round. read more

I have a 2004 Toyota Sienna which needed to have its audio upgraded. I spend a lot of time in the car and I just got tired of trying different workarounds to get the features I was looking for like hands free calling, satellite radio, etc. I did a lot of research to find a place to get this done. There are a lot of people in this business and I know from experience that many of them are not very good and you end up paying the price for using one of these companies. Superior Radio and Security, according to Yelp seemed to be the best in the business in my area do I decided to give them a try and I am VERY happy I did so. I ask a lot of questions, but when I am spending the amount of money I needed to I have to ask those questions. Some places don't want to hear all the questions, they just want you to buy. Well that was not the case at Superior. They took the time to answer all my questions. I went home to do more research and came back the next day to get the unit installed. What a great experience. It took awhile as my car had a number of issues. Billy and his staff would come out as they encountered something to let me know what was going on and what options I had. They really took the necessary time. Billy also showed me all the wiring and I was impressed by how neat he made everything look. The bottom line is when he finished, I got just what I wanted and a real professional installation. With all the features in this unit, I had a number of questions and called Billy. He answered all my questions and I am one very happy and satisfied customer. I would certainly go back to Superior and I highly recommend them. read more

When every audio place around said they wouldn't touch my saab because of the level of difficulty involved, these guys not only welcomed the challenge, they exceeded all my expectations. Preface this by saying I don't review places that often, only if I get a tremendous or horrendous experience. This review is the prior. Recently had a fair amount of work done on a new vehicle. Worked with them briefly on my last vehicle installing a simple powered woofer in the trunk. More businesses need to follow Superior's customer service model. They went above and beyond what I expected for the installation of my new system. Answered all questions, made suggestions, and we're friendly all the while. The install was flawless and workmanship was top notch. Owner was super knowledgable and extremely accommodating, his name is Billy. Great guy. He even took time after closing to show me the work, how the new head unit works and the features of the installed products. He didn't need to do it, but he did. All the guys there were of the same character from what I saw. I gave instructions just once of what I expected, and the results superseded those expectations. Overall, fantastic experience I had working with them, it seems evident they treat all customers this way by browsing their Yelp reviews. Plan on seeing them again soon when I decide to upgrade my vehicles electronics. Wouldn't even consider going anywhere else. This place knows what they're doing and customer service/pricing is phenomenal, especially for the service they provide. I had them put in a Remote Starter for my 2013 RX350 3 weeks ago know that when I open the door after the car is started, the car would shut off. I acknowledge this a safety feature of Lexus and all other installers confirmed the same information. 2 days ago, the owner Billy called me and told me they have a solution to keep the car running. I brought it in today and let them modify my previous installation. Kudos to the installer (Gilson). He knows his stuff and anticipated all the changes that would need to be tweaked such as my auto headlights shutting off when I kill the remote start with the aftermarket key. He is able to get my trunk working with the after market remote even when the car is running. Another safety feature of Lexus will prevent all factory remote functions to stop working once the car is started. Their price is very reasonable since they had to put alot of time to make the remote start work the way I want it to. This is my 5th remote start installation on my vehicles and the first with Superior Radio. I will definitely have them do all my future remote start installation. read more
