I wanted to report a very disturbing interaction with this company who empties the porta-potties in our neighborhood lake park. Today I watched from my porch, the driver of the truck barrel down a blind turn, ignore a stop sign, and hit at least 10 miles over the speed limit in my residential neighborhood. We have deer, kids, dogs, people walking and bicyclists all over the streets. Today there were several deer in the road at the time and the driver did not even break or slow down. Instead he sped up and slammed on his horn. THANK GOD, it was just deer and not children playing in the street or dogs running around in the yard or people walking down the road as we all so often do. We live in a quiet suburb between Bee Caves and Westlake It was so wreckless I felt compelled to walk down to the lake park and get a picture of the license plate so I could called the company to report the wreckless behavior. WaIking back, I actually had to warn two women and their dog to step out of the road when he was driving back out of the lake park. I got a call back from a "supervisor" JEREMI GONZALES who was EXTREMELY unprofessional and down right rude. He told me that he would check his drivers cameras to confirm what I had told him was even true, but that he wasn't calling to apologize for his driver - nor would he, and that if anyone or anything is in the street and gets hit by his driver that its our own faults. We are in a rural community with no sidewalks and everyone walks and bikes down the road. Anyone that cares about their business or reputation, or even takes a minimum amount of pride in their work would NEVER answer a neighborhood complaint about safety like this. I would HIGHLY encourage anyone using them or considering them to look into alternatives for septic services as they do not care about the safety of your neighborhood or the people who live in it. I have informed the board at the Lake Park as well and they will be evaluating replacements. read more

First there driver runs into the electrical wire going to my house ripping it down, ripping the mast out of my roof, and leaving a severed wire arcing in our driveway. Their driver immediately left the house and claimed he was not responsible. They left our landlord dealing with the aftermath of their visit for the next 12 hours: getting an electrician there, then getting the electric company back out to restore power, and did I mention it's pouring rain at this point and we have been displaced from our home for the night. I now hear they are threatening our landlord to place a lien on the home because he refuses to pay a $500 bill. Superior septic, get a life! These guys know their shit. Their motto "A royal flush beats a full house" They have been around for years. Their service and price is good. One tip find the septic cap and dig it out before the truck arrives. They charge 75 per hour for digging. If you have septic problems they have solutions. I had a run in with one of their drivers/cleaners named Thomas who threw the trash from the port-a-potty onto the ground next door to my home, I confronted Thomas about it and he was belligerent and stated I am not a trashman, I did not put this in the outhouse. (by the way there was a trash can less than 10 feet away from the port a potty) I told him that he threw it on the ground and I watched him kick it away from the outhouse, it was covered in the blue chemical that they use and I told him that I didn't want that stuff in front of my house, Thomas stated well its a public street isn't it, I said yes it is and the public doesn't want this crap on the street either. Thomas then said well its not in front of your house its in front of the house next door (under construction), I took a picture of Thomas's truck and phone number (512) 244-6300 I told Thomas that I was going to make a complaint against him and his company and his response was so what! I called the number listed on the side of his truck and it rang 15 times before a message came on stating the voicemail had not been set up, I hung up and a couple of minutes later a male called me and said that he had a missed call from my number, I told him I wanted to make a complaint against one of the drivers/cleaners and he told me in a rude manner to call back tomorrow after 8:00 A.M., Well guess what tomorrow at 08:00 A.M. I will be calling them back, along with a call to the City of San Marcos, the Home owners Association, the Construction Coordinator for L.G.I. Homes. Oh and when I returned from my errand I noticed that the area around the port-a-potty was cleaned up! I thought that maybe Thomas did have a conscience, well I was wrong, I saw all the stuff that Thomas took out of the port-a-potty and threw on the ground was now on the front lawn of the home under construction. read more

I've used Superior on 3 projects now. It's been a very straight forward no hassle process. Superior answers the phone, they deliver on time. I called Superior Septic for some portable toilets for a company event (cook-off) last week. I called them on a Monday and the event was on a Thursday- they were responsive and friendly and were right on time to drop off the toilets. They were also the most reasonably priced option I called (out of a good 8-10 companies). If I have a need I'll give them a call. Awful. Their driver hit the wall in front of our house breaking the stone, destroying a planter, and spilling septic fluid. I chased him down and spoke with the dispatcher lady at Superior Septic. She was rude but assured me they would cover the repair costs. I provided receipts and she then told me she wouldn't cover it because they needed 3 estimates. These people are crooks. I called Superior at 7:30 am on a Thursday, I ended up talking with the owner Bill who was fantastic. He had someone at my house within the hour and they are in Round Rock and I am in SW Austin. The guy was professional, knowledgeable and helped me immensely. I ended up having my septic pumped and he helped me uncover a different problem. I wish I had read the other reviews before I used this company one time last April. They dropped off and picked up the portapotty at the end of April--we only needed it for a day so it probably wasn't even on the property for a week. Last week, out of the blue, they decided to charge me again even though I haven't had any contact with them since last April. I did manage to talk to a human the day after I got the email alerting me to the charge but they said it was their bookkeeper's fault "accidentally" charging someone else's order to us. Ironically we had the same experience as another reviewer. When I tried to call the bookkeeper, Judy, when she was "back in town" I could not get through to her, nor would she call me back. What a great scam. Just randomly charge a previous client for something they didn't order, want or get and hope they won't/don't notice. Hopefully the credit card company will take of the problem. Unfortunately I don't know how to get the company to destroy my card information. They certainly don't seem to be pci compliant. read more

Don't recommend. Original Estimate was around $550.00, final bill they tried to present was $920. I used this service before in 2015, total then was $565 (I still have that invoice). Back then they charged me for three additional hoses, or $90.00 This time they charged for four additional hoses, or $120.00 They also charged extra for pumping the gray water tank with the pump, which they did not charge extra for last time. Then, when it was time for the bill, the driver tacked on an additional $200 for the extra time it took for the pumping. I objected and he took it off. In addition, the driver's attitude was disappointing, as he kept telling me how it took longer, they try to get these services done quickly. Truck left oil on my driveway requiring a clean up, and paid no attention to landscaping when placing hoses on the ground. I let him know I would not use them again, and his reply was something to the effect of "that would probably be good". I called the main office and wanted to discuss the invoice with them, but the person I talked to was clearly not interested. Learned a lesson--get a final number before work is done and don't use Superior Septic again.... read more

Bill is a crook. He talks sweet but is a liar. They messed my septic system, destroyed my pump and broke my sprinkler system and refused to take the responsibility. Right after cleaning the tank, they told me my pump needs to be replaced and wanted to bill me for $2000 but they were running the pump empty and air locked it. I called another pump expert, a real honest professional and told me they air locked the pump and he fixed it in no time. watch out for this company. Never use them. Stay away from them as far as you can and spread the world. read more

Worst service received. Bill Kaman, owner, plays a great phone game including calling himself Uncle Bill, touting his long-term relationship with the LCRA and ending his calls with "God Bless". [So sad to represent the Lord in this manner.] His employee used a 2 1/2 gallon broken bucket with a lid and charged the company for a "jandy valve box" which did not pass inspection nor was his work performed as billed. If it weren't for the LCRA inspection the company would not have known about the deceptive practice for quite some time. The total charge was $1800 for 3 hours onsite labor plus two six foot drain pipes and two 3" slip fixes. So I checked with other companies only to find their charges would be 1/3 that amount. It's no wonder he INSISTED on a check that very day rather than a credit card or billing. Kaman is not replying to respectful emails requesting he make things right - 1) price correction; 2) make good on work performed. The lack of a response speaks volumes to the character and trustworthiness of his companies - Superior Septic & Bill Kaman. His employee, the one that did the shoddy (take the time to find synonyms - you'll understand more completely) work, was arrogant and defensive when replacing the box as directed by the LCRA. I am thankful I took another co-worker as a witness. The LCRA already knows about the situation per the inspection. The Better Business Bureau is next. Please take time to read all of Superior's posts. Although he has received a few 5 stars, the 1 stars are just as important. We drew the short straw - hopefully you will not. I have lived in my home for 13 years, prior to purchasing the home the tank was cleaned and inspected. I did maintenance on it for 10 years never needing pumping or cleaning out just having it checked for any problems. Finally it needed to be cleaned out and Superior came out and cleaned it out and stated that it would not need to be rechecked or cleaned out for another 5-7 years...that was less then 2 years ago and supposedly per my plumber I am needing the tank cleaned again. My plumber went down there with a camera and all looked good except it appears full. Called Superior to find out what was going on and if they had warranty on their work or word since we had been told it would not need anything for 5-7 years, and keep in mind I have less people living there now as my kids are grown and out of the house. The person that my mother spoke with was very rude and stated that we had to maintenance our septic and since we didn't for 10 years that it was our problem not theirs. EXCUSE ME I DID HAVE MY SEPTIC INSPECTED AND IT DIDN'T NEED DRAINING, now all the sudden it is full in less then 2 years and less people living there. A simple well we are sorry to hear that would you like us to come back out and check and pump again since, I do apologize there is not warranty would have been nice but NOOOO. I will never do business with these people again and I have reported them to Better Business Bureau. I have lived in my community for over 20 years and I will make sure that no one that I know uses this business again if no more then the simple fact of their customer service today. Had you just been nice we would have had paid you to come back out but NOOOOO you wanted to be a jerk and treat a 72 years old woman with total disrespect. Good luck with that but I will make sure I blast you as much as I can to get the word out so you don't treat other return or potential customer that way.
