I called, and was helped by a friendly someone that gave me a good time frame to stop by. (I guess they get busy around lunchtime.) The place is super easy to find, about 1.1 miles from the 580 Marina exit, so it's really convenient. When I got there, I was immediately helped by Francisco, who took my info and registration, and was super friendly. The waiting room is small, but there is a TV and free WiFi, which is nice. (I saw evidence that there is coffee in the mornings, plus they have water.) They gave my car (A 2010 Honda Civic) the once over and were done in less that :30 minutes. Great little place if your ride needs a smog. They are friendly and reasonable ($58) but if you tell them you found them on Yelp, you get $10 off! Just got done with Smog for my Mazda, and It was quick! Once my car went inside the shop, 15-20 minutes, done. I had inquired about prices with Francisco, whom is the owner and who also worked on my car. The price was amazing too! Best believe I will be recommending this place for smog. I brought my daughter with me, and they had a small snack table which we both love. They also perform DMV renewals which beats the hassle of falling in line in the DMV, so that's a good deal too. It took less than 30 mnts for the smog check and to renew my Car registration at the same location. I've been here a couple times for a smog check before COVID, and once since COVID. Excellent service every time. 10-15 minutes in and out. There was some kind of online discount that I didn't know about, but they gave it to me anyway. Depending on when you go, it can be difficult to get in and out because the parking area is shared with another business, and the street you drive down to enter is one-way. When I came this time, there weren't a lot of parking spots available, and when I was leaving, there was traffic blocking my exit. Took some maneuvering to make my escape. Wow! I had a complicated issue with a car that had been a non op for years, needed a new title, and a transfer of ownership. I tried doing it all myself and after hours on the DMV website which was NO help at all, I found this business. Thank God I did! Francisco was really helpful and knowledgeable and all I had to do was show up with my paperwork, sign a couple of places, pay a few bucks and I was out the door with tags and the new title registered. It could not have been easier and I will never go to the DMV unless I absolutely have to, now that I found Superior Smog! It doesn't get easier than this.
