All was well until the Father retired and left the business to the son, who brought with him a much higher price tag and more than a little bit of arrogance. Nothing is more insulting, than telling a long time customer that performing plumbing work in their home "is not cost effective to them." I guess these days they are not interested in residential work, unless the job lines their pockets significantly. And if that is the new business model - Inform your long term customers politely and professionally. They recently implemented an answering service and installed GPS in the trucks. Which makes it ironic that they oftentimes don't return calls and can't get the ETA straight! This is a shame because the Father was a stand up, honest, old school plumber who has sadly been superseded by someone who thinks he is too cool for school.
