My regular plumber was unable to come help me out with my leak so I tried the drain doctor. He was able to come right away, fix my leak with minimal work. The was so thankful have my leak fixed without breaking the bank. Since this experience, I've had to have them come back to address some issues. Absolutely the worst plumbing experience imaginable. This so-called plumber (Pedro) took my money, failed miserably at fixing my clogged sink blaming the old pipes, and managed to make the problem even worse before leaving without a solution. The service was sloppy, unprofessional, and completely useless - after an hour of work, not only did the sink remain clogged, but the situation deteriorated further. When confronted, the plumber demanded the double the agreed upon payment and called the cops making a scene, taking zero responsibility for the shoddy work. Avoid this company at all costs unless you enjoy being ripped off and left with an even bigger mess than when you started. Save yourself the headache and never, ever call this plumber. I called drain doctor for a leak in my basement from a standing shower. Pedro came in than explained that i needed a delta cartridge and he did not have the part. Than he stated that i had to pay him for coming out, although he had said he only charges when he does the job. Please save your money!! read more

I'm not gonna lie...today did not start out great. What I thought was a clogged utility sink in my basement/laundry room turned out to be a sewage pipe clog. As I saw the brown sludge-like water seep into the carpet I thought for sure it would be an extremely gross and costly fix. Thankfully Drain Doctor was recommended to me. 3.5 stars. When you have a toilet clog problem, especially one not caused by you, it's not pleasant. It's a relatively pricey problem to have and I had a to wait a couple of hours, but Pedro arrived the day of the call and did what he was supposed to do. He seems like a decent guy. I had my kitchen sink backup this Monday Morning. Pedro came out and attempted to snake it out and burst the PVC pipe that I had just fixed and put in 2019. He tried to say that the pipe was old, and I said not so it was just put in 2019 then he want d to know who did it? That has nothing to do with you just burst the pip.. Of course he replaced it and said he had to check for a leak in the basement and water was all over. Then he preceded to tell me I have a leak in the pipes in the wall,and I had to get a Plummer to go in the wall.. But in the interim my pipes are old.... How can you tell how old pipes are if they are in the wall. What happened he it. The pipes and I had to pay someone to go into the walls to fix it!! Talking about one mess. Oh but he did not charge me to put on the pipe that he broke. What a mess,after putting out all that money my drain still wasn't working and the guy said call Pedro back so he can fix it because it was never fix. When he hit the pipe he did nothing because he knew just what he did... Him and his Boss came back to my house @ 7:30pm banging on my do demanding that they fix what was wrong all of 15 minutes. And said now you pay!!! I had told his office to tell him not to come.... But they did Banging on my glass door very hard!!!! I would not recommend them to anyone!!! read more

I called Drain Doctor after my shower backed up. I had an absolutely courteous man come to my apartment and he ended up fixing everything as expeditiously as possible. The price was very fair, he didn't try to dawdle to hike up the bill like some of these other services do. They sent a technician out and he was at our home in less than an hour. They also gave helpful suggestions and tips to avoid the problem in the future. A professional BS artist. New ownership ? This Drain Doctor has been coming here for years. The service guy that's been coming here for years who I believe is NOW new ownership... is a WISE GUY. Knows my property, told him the problem. He quoted me over the phone. Didn't arrive until 4 hours after he said and had multiple excuses as I called 3 times and asked when he was coming as we were waiting around for him and he knew this. Didn't tell us NOT to use the water in the house while waiting and crap flowed all through the basement. Then says to me when he got here, speaking to me like I am an idiot, oh yeah everybody knows not to use the water in the house. Really? After he snaked he said he would wipe up the additional mess he made of the bathroom he proceeded to leave the place a mess and the toilet seat loose. The he hands me the bill and it's over $100 over the quote and he had every BS excuse why it was $100 more than his verbal quote to me, and what it cost last time for the SAME exact job, and knowing my property. Additionally, the operator asked alot of personal questions out of the ordinary pointing toward income. Then he says, the float valve that i have now, is one of the bad ones you should replace it and he says see this chain, its bad, I will disconect it its better for you. The day after he left, my bowl doesn't refill anymore, and i called him and he said I never disconnected that, not sure how that would happen, and that if he will come and that if he needs to put a new valve in he will have to charge me. They were very rude on the phone. I should have known that this was a red flag but I still had them come out to install the new faucets. They sent some new guy that didnt have much experience and he broke both of them.he left without puting back the old faucets and I was stuck with two bathrooms that could not be used. I called them back several times over a 4 week period and they just don't care. I disputed the credit card charges for $2000 and now they put this into collections. Miserable experience. Was excited to get same day service but the guys left me with a major mess that I was responsible for cleaning up. There was raw sewage splattered all over my basement including on my tools, children toys and even kitchen appliances. On top of that they used my good bathroom towels to sop up various messes, essentially ruining all of them. Called back next day to voice my concerns and old man on phone was downright rude and would not connect me with owner. Shame on them. Never again!!! read more

I will give one star because is the lowest I can do. I don't even know where to begin. They walked into the house and could not find the water meter, then they started yealling: Someone stole the water meter!!!. The other plumber found the water meter and they started arguing among themselves. Since we were in a desperate situation we booked them for the following day, they never showed up nor gave us a call. Ended up getting another plumber, that got everything done and put everything up to code in 1 day and charged $800 less than what Drain doctor was going to charge me. I dont know if they re good or bad plumbers because we never used them but I just find it irresponsable to not even notify the client that they re not showing up. read more

I called these guys cause I couldn't remember who I used before. The guy arrived and left in ten minutes. The drain was flowing for two days and then stopped. The regular guy we use takes about 30 to 45 minutes on site. He charged big bucks and did not do a proper job. When I called I got no satisfaction at all. I don't know how he stays in business. I made some inquiries and was told that the owner is wealthy and they don't actually need the money. So I guess his hobby is screwing people. read more
