Now I've had to take the TV off the wall and found that the built-in level is off, they could not have missed it - they knew and hid it. However, even worse the mount model they used is rated for 77lb... The instructions I found had two models listed: 77 and 99lb. They endangered my family by their deficient work.

I visited a few high end retail stores where they sell equipment and do installations. I also did a fair amount of researching picking out components. Marks price was very fair and he reviewed my picks and advised where I could save money without losing quality. 4 flat screens, AV receiver, sound bar, blu ray, Apple TV and universal remote were installed. Everything looks and sounds great without any wires showing. Since the job was completed a few month back I've had some questions and follow up. I've been very satisfied that Mark either picks up the phone or calls me right back to answer questions or resolve a minor issue.

TLDR: One star for an abysmal mounting experience. One star for Shawn trying to make it right. I wanted to get two TVs mounted in my brownstone apartment. One in a "workout" room and one in the living room. They started in the workout room. They asked if I wanted the TV high for workouts. I said no. They said "ok, we'll confirm height with you before we mount it." They didn't, and they had to remount it lower after I saw how high it was. I now have two plainly visible extra holes in my wall above the TV. For the living room, we settled on a TV height before installation. During the installation they asked if there's a hardware store nearby because they need to pick something up. Only later did I realize they needed to pick up spackle for the wall because they made a height mistake AGAIN. There were now several additional holes in my living room wall because they incorrectly drilled for a second time. Bad enough, but it seems they were trying to get away with an incognito patch job that I had to discover myself (this time behind the tv) When I brought it up, the installation team was apologetic and instructed me to contact Shawn to make it right. Shawn provided a discount for installation for 50% (which I had to ask for from a more meager offered discount). To be honest I don't think I should have to pay anything now that I have several extra holes in my brownstone walls that I need to spackle, sand, and paint. My TVs do seem secure and level however. I'm hoping this was an isolated "freak" experience. But I do feel obligated to write this review as I used Yelp to find Blue Falcon in the first place.

I hired them to "wall mount a few TVs and hook up my receiver" in my new apartment and Doron came in with much better ideas - "why not do all new speakers in the ceiling?" This made me excited but also skeptical - is this the classic upsell? But no, all of the prices were extremely reasonable, the work went smoothly with excellent communication, and when there were hiccups with the TV hookups (Verizon FIOS network clashed with my home mesh internet system and provided a huge headache), Doron and Jonathan put in the extra time to make sure everything was perfect and never thought twice about it, at no extra charge to me. I hired them for an add-on project to install a TV on my roof, which was a fun AV/construction puzzle that they solved beautifully. These guys know what they are doing!…read more I recently decided to connect the pre-installed(but never hooked up to an amp or smart system), integrated speakers, hang and connect a TV and also needed to upgrade the interwebz, at the crib because it as extremely slow and spotty (some areas would not get wifi at all since it's the building is old and made of brick.) So after consulting the internet the internet I called ExpertTech Inc. and some other firms. What came next blew my mind (in a good way), not only did Doron (the owner, and all round very nice guy) get back to me immediately, but he came over the same day to do the visual assessment. I had and itemized estimate the very next morning! Boom! How about that for speed? I scheduled the installation for the next week, when all the necessary components were scheduled to arrive. Installation was also a breeze! At least Marston and Brandon, a two man installation Team Machine, made it seem that way. The first day was spent, calibrating all the necessary CAT-6 ports and setting up the server rack and internet. The second day was spent setting up the sound system. And this is were they really shined. Apparently the speakers (installed by someone else, not these consummate and dedicated pros) had been wired wrong, At this point I was afraid the whole endeavour would go down the drain, but fear not, ExpertTech stepped up to the plate! After checking one ceiling speaker they realized they could remedy the whole situation by going in and taking every speaker out of the ceiling and rewiring them. This is not an easy task with high ceilings and it proved to be time consuming, but these guys never even broke a step and handled it like champs, they even stayed late until the job was done. (Who in NYC does that? Nobody, except ExpertTech! Faith in Humanity restored, am I Rite'?) Anyway, after setting up the speakers, they cleaned up and and walked me through the setup and how to use it. Then they left. And were it not for the moronic massive smile on my face when I cranked up some tunes and surfed for cat pics on the blazing fast Wireless (up from an average time of 30 Mbps to now around 240-300 Mpbs not even kidding, I almost shed a tear, when I later streamed a movie in full HD, in BED, something I had not been able to do before) I would have never even known they were there. Honestly, I cannot recommend them enough. This is one of those no brainers. Just go ahead and call them. Btw, the other company called two weeks after they installed everything, let's call them comapny FU Client, and they said they would be available a week after that.... so yeah... Don't even bother, just call ExperTech. I didn't regret it!!!
