This grocery store seems a lot bigger than what it seems like from outside. Lots of fresh produce and lots of Mexican canned, jarred, and fresh food available here. They also have items you won't find in typical American grocery stores like yucca and cactus (that is actually fresh). Some produce items tend to also be cheaper than say, Safeway, like tomatoes and cilantro. My only gripe when I shop here during the pandemic was that there is always SO. MUCH. PEOPLE. on the weekends. So if you are trying to avoid large crowds and tight spaces close to strangers--as I think you should!--try to come early as soon as they open or late before they close on weekdays to avoid the crowd. Overall, crowds shouldn't take away from the quality and quantity of what is offered here for the purpose of my review so five stars from me! read more

Stopped by to get Mexican grocery, specifically tamale wraps that are like parchment papers. They didn't have that and I was a little disappointed. But I hear no one carries that anymore. The wrap papers are so easy to use no need to soak overnight, very soft and precut to tamale shapes. I used to use them long long time ago when I lived in Eastern Oregon closed to Tricities. This store carries a lot of what I don't see in where I live. If you need grocery for Mexican food, this is it! Lots of nice looking fresh cactus, small tomatillos, jicama, etc.. They have a fruit stand inside of the store, maybe juice bar as well? There were people in line waiting for their orders. Popular place! read more

Oh boy, oh boy! I always get the frozen pack of tamales de elote and a nice smoothie from the juicer! When I can, I like to pick up lunch for the family from the mini- restaurant; so many things to choose from! The gorditas you can request either grilled or fried and both are yummy. The chicharron can be ordered either dry or wet (sauce). The crunchy potato tacos are a dream.... especially with their avocado sauce dressing. The candy aisle is extensive, so much variety. It's just that I haven't had a good many of those and it's hard to justify purchasing a whole pack if I just want to try one piece. However, the packs are quite affordable, so if I did purchase a pack and didn't find it to my liking, I wouldn't be upset to leave it with someone else to enjoy instead. The employees seem very nice, I can't communicate very well but they don't seem bothered about that in the least. This is the only Hispanic grocery store in town I like going to, and it's worth the drive! read more

I was here in a flurry. It was 9:45, and they closed at 10. On my grocery list: dog food, cotton balls, juice, Q-tips, & laundry detergent. Now, I picked this grocery, cuz I've driven by it while romping around Pasco, and always thought..."Super Mex"---I think I have to try it. Althought staff were staging for closing (mopping, turning off soda display lights, collecting carts, etc.), the first thing I noticed: color. In here you have pinatas up the ying yang! There was a big cookie monster pinata chillin' right near the door, and then there were all kinds of other pinatas that were hanging low enough for one to crack one open by ramming their head into 'em---it was tempting. I was on a mission though, so I ran around the store like a keystone cop. Oh, I did make a stop in a Mexican food section. I don't know if it was spices or candy, but they were...well...colorful. They were a blur. I moved on. So, there are all kinds of brands which are unfamiliar here (maybe they are brands from Mexico). Yeah, they had Jarritos, but I wanted juice. I wanted something different since I was in SUPER MEX! I went for a carton of: BOING! Love the name. They had tamarind (yuck!), naranja, strawberry, and pina. I went for some pineapple BOING! They didn't have Q-tips, but they had a different brand of cotton swabs (they turned out to be pretty weak. They were sticks with a few fibers on either end). The cotton swabs--check. The did NOT have dog food--d'oh! They did have detergent. So, they had most of what I wanted. So, I can't complain. While heading to the checkout, this is when I saw the Mexican candies. Damn! They were loaded. They had a whole section of colors, names I've never heard of, and sugary mysteries. The staff were very nice, and I was set....to walk outside and hit the Supermex Taco Truck (Yelp forthcoming). read more

I decided to go in today for some food. Never been so disappointed in my life. I bought 50$ worth of food. Everything was cold. The containers were dirty from the outside and food seemed like it was shaken. When I called to speak to a manager I was told I would get refunded. I had to drive 20 minutes back to the store and when I got there I was refunded for a item THEY FORGOT. They didn't just mess up my whole order but also customer service was so rude and disrespectful. read more

My husband and I went for lunch today and oh my was it delicious! The prices are reasonable and the food was amazingly authentic. He loved his asada torta and I had the chicken flautas which were good (they weren't very full of meat but the queso fresco and creama that was on top was too good! We also got an adobada (spicy pork) fried gordita which was off the chain. We will definitely be going back! read more

The winter citrus season is at full tilt and Supermex, as usual, doesn't disappoint in its annual offerings. The pink grapefruit are thin-skinned and heavy for their size, giving excellent juice every morning. A large variety of other citrus fruit are available. Mandrin orange, tangerine, lime, lemon, and several varieties of regular oranges. The citrus here is almost all displayed in bulk, allowing you to select as you please. I brought home 3 lbs of lima dulce or sweet lime two days ago and left them on the counter. Today I opened the sack they were in and was assaulted by their perfume, truly lovely. It's a pity we can't share scent across the internet as easily as photographs and audio and video recordings. If I had to use one word to describe the odor of this fruit it would be "ethereal" . read more

This is the worst place to buy vegetables plus the manager, a man, and the coordinator, a woman, are very rude! It looks that they feel very entitled about their clientele, mostly hispanic, to which do not apreciate neither respect at al, since they sale bad merchandise. It looks also they do not believe having you to get back to return the bad merchandise cost the clients, time and gasoline. They think that exchanging the merchandise, at your risk of getting it bad again, its a good customer service. That is how they get reach at expense of hispanic people. Where it is the Health Department that still signs their health permit?! read more

This place has awesome food and great fresh juices. Our family loves to get green juices and hot food here. Very reasonably priced and yes they speak English so it's easy to order. I bought some candy here a littlw while back and it was caked with green mold. Apon returning the informed me that i did not buy it there and i coukd not get my money back.
