visited MODS this past weekend with my 9 year old and 2 friends. We had not been since 2020…read more The traveling exhibit was the Science of Guinness World Records. The exhibit is whole was really interesting. We spent a lot of time there. One aspect I didn't like was that you have to scan your finger print with your name to make an "avatar" to activate some of the activities. I don't like giving my finger prints or my sons when we don't know what will be done with that information after the exhibit ends so some of the activities we couldn't do. And for the ones we could do some of them were broken. Still had a lot of fun in this exhibit. Highly interactive. Ends September 7 2026 A lot of the permanent exhibits were the same at 2020 which was cool to see my son interact and compare it to how he was as a babe. Again some of the exhibits were under maintenance but it didn't stop us from having a good time. My son loved observing the baby gators and learning more about them and some of the other Florida wildlife. The outdoor exhibit was interesting but some of the instruments/activities were metal and were HOT from the sun. Still nice to get a little sun and lots of shade. There was a good crowd but not too crowded Only critique is that there were two lines for tickets but nothing that designated what line was for what so a lot of people were in the member services line when we just wanted general admission. Other than that it was a great experience. There's parking right across the street in the garage and there's a bunch of restaurants to walk to nearby including a really cute restaurant next door called Emily's garden to get lunch and gelato. Highly suggest bringing refillable water bottles. You'll be in there for about 2-3 hrs if you take your time in each exhibit. We opted out of the holographic theater and the center kids play area but those would be fun to try when we go back

My nephew loved the iMAX movie Wild Asia (It was really well done.), the wind simulator and the airplane section. Unfortunately, a lot of the simulators didn't work so he was a bit disappointed. He still liked climbing in the planes. He also liked seeing the big thing at the front with the balls going through the thing that looked like a Ferris wheel. I loved the hockey exhibit. It was really well done and was neat to learn the history of hockey especially the Stanley Cup. Being from Pittsburgh, I loved seeing Sydney Crosby represented in the players area. It was also neat to see the skates, puck and sticks evolve over time. If you have kids (especially if they love science and now sports while the hockey exhibit) definitely come visit.

I do like there were some seating area for the adults to sit and watch, but there are some spots you can't see unless you follow them. We were there on a week day mid-morning, so it wasn't packed. The kids had a great time. There is a cafe on site, but the menu was limited so we opted to go elsewhere (walking distance) to grab a bite to eat. If you're visiting Ft. Lauderdale and are in the area with little kids, this is a great spot to cool off while the kids burn their energy off.

Unfortunately a few Things fell short starting from the arcade that's right in the middle and you do have to pay extra for. So on top of paying the entry fee you have to pay for each game. Which is fine in a way but there's no way to avoid children from seeing it, so you see multiple children having meltdowns of the parents say no to the arcade including my nephew. The city area was so cute! But no toys for them to play with so for instance the market had literally no toys, no play food or literally anything. We looked everywhere and they weren't even hidden in the ball pit (which was a hit with most of the kids) The staff was sweet and friendly and the place was cleaner than other indoor playgrounds we've been to so that was a plus but I don't know if we'd go back

He was a really chill college teen with tattoos, he was really funny and a great instructor and he was extremely patient with us and made the entire time feel like a blast! The obstacle is really fun, if you have a fear of heights do not worry at all you will not fall and its very hard to, logan explained how it's physically impossible to fall and even gave us an example. There are two levels with two challenges each, making it engaging and worth the time. It costs $30 for each person totaling $60 for me and my cousin. There aren't a lot of people when we came but it could differ for others days. Overall it's a very fun activity to do in Dania beach and I'd highly recommend! P.S. for Logan, Me and my cousin hope you have a great career path in school and in life in general! You're an amazing guy! Keep up the good work man!

An hour is plenty of time for the activities in that Florida sun. The entire lake is fenced to protect from gators, which was cool. Lots of lizards on the grounds. My son loved hunting them after swimming. Staff seemed tired and over it. I'm sure they are hot and depleted of energy from being in that sun all day, and it showed. Not one smile or greeting. But the kids don't care.
