Unfortunately, I have had a negative expirience with one of the piercers. Pineapple, Jade, and Mercedes have all pierced me at different points. Around 3 years ago Mercedes pierced my verticle labret, and it turned out beautiful. Unfortunately I had to take it out because of a surgery after a few months, and once I recovered and wanted to get it repierced I went back. This time Travis pierced it, and I did not agree with his personality very much, as I felt he made some kind of targeted comments at my preferred jewelry and piercing placement, and he also was a little rude when we were having a conversation regarding the circumstances of my surgery. Since there was a scar showing the placement of my previous piercing, I trusted the results would be similiar, but after seeing the markings and thinking they looked good, the piercing happened and it felt a little off. Originally he tried to give me a piece of jewelry for the healing that was comically oversized, and when I said that I would like a smaller size, he acted as if it was a silly request. But truly, my lip was not going to swell to double its normal size because of a repiercing. I signed a form, got the smaller jewelry, and figured I would downsize when it was appropriate and hopefully I wouldnt feel like the placement was weird, but after the piercing had healed and I went to get it downsized, he revealed that no jewelry would fit the way I wanted because there werent any small enough piercings unless I had one custom made. I couldnt afford that so I just accepted it, until this year when I started disliking it so much I decided id rather not have the piercing than have the weirdly placed one, so I took it out. I know the difference might look kind of minimal, but it really drove me crazy to feel the piercing wiggling around so much, and not be able to afford jewelry I would like because it was not within standard sizes. For a while I blamed my anatomy, but a few weeks ago I realized maybe my lips arent weirdly shaped and my prefered placement should be possible, so I got it repierced elsewhere. Now that it is healed (or at least no longer swollen), I can confidently say that Travis messed up with the piercing placement, and acted quite unprofessionally in my opinion. I am comfortably wearing a size piercing that I think is third from the smallest standard size, and it fits exactly how I want. I will attach a photo with a comparison of the piercing i got from travis and my current piercing. (in the top pictures I am wearing a 16g, 1/4 inch piercing, and in the bottom pictures I am wearing a 16g, 3/8 inch piercing.) I cannot recommend the other piercers enough, and I hope to return here for many future jobs, but I would like to recognize this expirience in my review because it was an upsetting expirience that cost me time and money.

The front of the store is a bit of a tight squeeze but again, I made my appointment on a Sunday afternoon. The earring bar offered a variety of studs, hoops, bars, and chains from budget friendly piercing-grade titanium to boujie gold and diamonds. I went for a sparkly gold crown in my conch and gold cat stud for one lobe and a crystal bezel in the other lobe. The piercing room is in a dedicated room, away from the front of the store. It looked and felt very clean and sanitary. My piercer, Ashley, was fantastic. She was very meticulous when it came to marking and ensuring that I was happy with the placement before getting to the stabbing part. She explained all the steps she was taking from sanitizing the areas to be pierced, breathing in deep, swift piercing, and do's and don'ts of aftercare. I was a little surprised they didn't try to upsell me on the aftercare products. I left the store and later realized I didn't buy any saline solution but if this happens to you, piercing saline solution is available at most major grocery stores. Overall I had a great experience! I was in and out in about 45 minutes. My piercings were 100x less painful than expected and healing has been a breeze. I'm hoping to get another set of lobe piercings and working up the courage to get a daith which I plan to get at Studs too.

I went in for a piercing for Friday the 13th (large crowd) but they had a smooth system in place! I put my name on the list, the guy told me it would be about 3-4 hours but they would call me. I went home, finished my tasks for the day, then headed back to the studio. Waited about 30 minutes then I actually received a phone call! Walked in, picked out my piercing and the piercer was ready for me. The piercer was so nice and patient (i'm picky and wanted my navel piercing in a certain position). it did not hurt at all, I told her it was actually an anticlimactic finish haha! I originally went in to do a walk-in…read moretattoo and they told me that I would have to schedule it so I met with the tattoo person Avery and showed him the references and planned a day and paid the deposit for the tattoo ($100) He then texted me a few days later and asked to reschedule to a different week and I said yes when that week got here I had scars in the place where I wanted to tattoo so I asked to reschedule. So our final reschedule comes up and he text me literally five minutes (my appointment was at 12. He texted me at 11:55.) before the appointment to say he is not in town and someone else will be doing the tattoo. Highly unprofessional, considering I asked him to pick the date and he gave me this as a date that worked the best for him. I was open to doing it any day he was free. I let this go and texted Marco the person he said would be doing the tattoo that I was running a bit late and I was on my way. Marco said OK never asked questions or said anything. So I arrive at the shop and now Marco has no idea who I am, what I'm talking about or what tattoo I'm trying to get. Marco could have expressed this in text message so we would have been on the same page and I could not have wasted my time and my gas going out there. He did not have a reference photo or anything. He was not even aware that I had paid the deposit or that Avery had already quoted out a price for the tattoo. This was a highly unprofessional handoff from Avery. At this point, I was so beyond frustrated. I just told Marco and the other two tattoo people that were in the shop. Never mind I did not want the tattoo. Marco then decides to follow me out of the tattoo shop screaming at me to come back. This was the most unprofessional experience I have ever had in a tattoo shop. I informed Marco in text message of everything Avery said, and he then stated he vaguely remembered him telling him something about it last night. When I asked for the refund for the deposit, Avery didn't even try to work with me on a different day or do anything. He said that the deposit was nonrefundable. For a tattoo he did not draw, start on or do anything for. I will never go back here. Avery Is unprofessional rude and just not someone I would ever recommend anyone to work with. Nor would I recommend Marco or this tattoo shop to anyone. If they did not want to work with a black woman, then they could have said that at any point, this was a terrible experience.
