Where do I begin... We highly (extremely) recommend Valerie to ANYONE who LOVES their fur baby as…read moremuch as we LOVE our Buddy! If you are looking for a caring and responsible person who gives your baby all the attention and love you want them to have... a person who's actions can give you peace of mind and ease your guilt... Val is the right person! This was a huge decision for us to hire someone to come into our home (stay) and take care of our boy we were in Hawaii... and it was not taken lightly. This was a little scary and first for us! It was going to take a lot of trust in whoever we hire that they would take great care of our Buddy... but, also that we could trust them in our home while we were away. It was extremely important to us that Buddy was comfortable in HIS home feeling secure, safe, cared for, loved and not abandoned... this is exactly what Val gave us and Buddy! We did our research and read almost every review. Obviously, searched and read about many pet sitters but we kept going back to Val. We made arrangements to for Val to come over and meet our boy and us. Buddy is a little cautious around people, but Val was very warm, patient and engaging with Buddy and he warmed up right away. Val asked a lot of questions in regards to what Buddy's and our needs are... what were our expectations. It was a very comfortable meeting and we knew before she left that Valerie is who we wanted for our Buddy. It turned out to be the best decision we ever made in regards to Buddy's care. Val was very flexible and even came over early the day we left so we could all hangout together for a couple of hours prior to our leaving... that way Buddy wouldn't be anxious or feel abandoned. While we were gone Val would text me... sending us pictures and videos daily of Buddy. We could see by his actions and how he cuddled up next to Val... we could see how great our decision was. Val always encouraged us to text her and responded right away. Val kept daily track/records of Buddy's walks, his medication intake, his eating amounts and anything else she felt we might want to know. Buddy is 9 years old and this was the first vacation that we've taken without him that we didn't feel guilty and had total peace of mind. Obviously, Valerie is our girl when it comes to our precious Buddy... without hesitation. If you are in a similar situation and need a responsible person who will take great care of your fur baby... Val is who we recommend. But, keep in mind... her calendar fills up fast, especially for overnights. So, plan! Val, if you're reading this... thank you!

We loved working with Alison. She walked our dog Jo a few times a week for the last 5 months…read more She's really responsive and friendly for scheduling, but we really appreciated how good she was with Jo. He was a Labradoodle, about 7 years old and 80ish pounds, that we had adopted in 2017 from a rescue. He had a lot of anxiety, and she was really patient and kind as it took a few visits before he'd go on a walk with her at all (he kept pulling her back home when he realized we weren't coming). We were really excited to get him regular exercise during the word day, as well as help him get used to new people, and Alison was so responsive to our concerns. We warned her about not letting people pet him, or him get aggressive with other dogs, and she was really considerate, and reported back regularly on how he was doing. She also really helped with leash training (although he was better for her than for us, of course). He was a pretty big dog, and we were still working on helping to socialize him better, and we had been really worried about finding a dogwalker who would be a good fit, but Alison was absolutely wonderful with him. And her rates are very reasonable! Jo passed recently after being ill for the last several weeks, and we continued the walks as long as we could, because it was so helpful to have a third party reporting back on how he was doing (including elimination and energy levels), plus he loved his hour-long walks. When he became too sick to continue (he just decided he wouldn't go anywhere without us), she was really kind and so flexible about scheduling/last minute cancellations/etc. This has been an immensely difficult time, and we were so glad to have Alison as a part of Jo's life.

Alison is incredibly patient and nurturing with all animals, especially dogs. I highly recommend this service to anyone with a dog that they love very much.
