HORRIBLE!!!! Went in for 1 time usage and they automatically signed me up for monthly. I can not get them to stop monthly charge.

Damaged Vehicle Policy Over Integrity and People I have been going to Super Sonic Carwash since high school. I got a new Nissan NV van with a roof rack. I took it to Supersonic on State Street in Orem today. As I pulled up to the person taking the payment I asked if I was too tall for "The Tunnel" (is what they call it) He reassured me that I was not, and that "vans of our size went through all of the time." I paid and then proceeded to the person helping cars line up their tires. Again I asked him if I was too tall. He stopped the machine, had me pull up to the height arch, had me open my car door, climbed up onto the car looked down the top of my rack and affirmed, "looks great! Your good to go!" Going through the tunnel, I heard a series of loud scrapes and thumps. Pulled out and inspected the roof of my van. The entire rack has large gouges and scrapes from the front of the rack to the back. I talked with and showed the damage to two mangers immediately. Caleb and Ben. Both of them told me repeatedly, "clearly our guys made a BIG mistake!" They made a report. (attached) We waited for 20-30 minutes. Then they both came back to my car and told me they couldn't do anything "because my rack is an after market rack". Then Ben (general manager of the tunnel) said to me something to the effect of "I really like this company, but some of the policies just don't make sense." I asked if I could talk to their boss, they said I could not, but they would talk to him and call me on Monday, but "that's just our policy." I pleaded with them to have integrity, put people over policy and DO THE RIGHT THING!! They admitted more times than 3 that this was their fault. And they are unwilling to anything about it. I am frustrated and sad when people refuse to operate with integrity, and are more committed to their policy than their people! I will update this review if they decide to make it right. But otherwise I will take my cars to Quick Quack, they are much closer to our house anyway. read more

I did an audit of my checking account. (You know, all those little charges for Netflix and Hulu that sneak up on you until you're paying a fortune?) The most egregious I found was this place. I'm embarrassed to say that they've been charging me $40 a month for over two years on a vehicle I don't own. I contacted them about it. They said that the last time the wash was used by that account was six months back and that they'd process a refund accordingly. I debated fighting for the correct refund of quadruple that amount, but I really needed the bit they were offering, so I took it. It credited to my account four days later. I'm thinking to reply with a thank you, but the return email address is generic and likely'll just be dumped in their digital trash. I appreciate the partial refund but I'm cancelling my entire account and from now on using the closer competitor that's better, but charges more. read more

I came here for the first time to get my truck washed. I had to rescue my wife and her co workers after their vehicles were stuck in the mud. After pulling their vehicles out, My truck was covered with mud. I figured I should probably get a car wash. Looking up the nearest car wash Supersonic Car wash cane up. It wasn't busy at all when I pulled up. The gentleman looked at my vehicle and questioned it for sometime. He then walked and asked some employees their opinion if my vehicle washable. They then said we can't wash your car because it's too dirty but I can back after it's more clean. Put it this way, if you walk into a barber shop expecting a haircut, but your "hair" is too messy/dirty/long for them to "cut" they say to go to a different barber to get a cut, then come back to us later when your hair is shorter/cleaner, etc.. I'm very disappointed how I was unable to receive service when I needed it. Guess your car needs not to be "washed" in order for them to "wash" it... :/ Update: I went to WiggyWash right after this experience and they HELPED me to wash my vehicle.. they took the time to pressure wash the excess dirt (about 5-10minutes) then I entered the car wash. I was surprised by how well the car wash at WiggyWash went. It doesn't feel rushed, and the pressure of the water was impressive. My car was cleaner then it ever looked. I would say it's much better then Quickquack when it comes to price and quality. read more

Don't ever get their monthly pass! When you try to cancel the pass it is almost impossible to do so. You have the option on the phone to use their text messaging option and when you do, no one ever follows up with you. You can then call back again, wait on hold to have you request forwarded to their customer service team. What a joke. Their customer service is horrible. I have been going to Sonic for years however, this year the brushes have left squirl marks all over my new Lexus GX. read more

I have no problem waiting on a service, however, don't tell me I'll be in and out in half hour.. and then I see there's not many cars in and yet over an hour later I'm still waiting, the guy selling the detail lied. Crappy service crappy sales guy, As I drove off I noticed how terrible the job they did I went back and fortunately the young kid that set me off was great he did the best you could I was in a hurry so I didn't stick around but I hope they can get their quality back up I was really disappointed read more

This is the most EXPENSIVE car wash you will ever visit. The prices are way way way way too high. To WIPE DOWN my leather seats and dash was going to be $85 PLUS the $18 I paid for the exterior wash!!! Also the receptionist Kylie was super aggressive and not friendly in the slightest. I love my fast pass and that I can go whenever and however many times I want--especially with UT's unpredictable weather. Detail packages are WAY overpriced. Sometimes there's a pretty long line, but overall it's a good place! read more

Service is very expensive and service is poor. Cancelling a membership is impossible. I have gone in the store to cancel. They said you can only cancel online. I cancelled online before the billing date, but was charged anyway. Cancelled again online, and was AGAIN charged the next month. Called customer service, but they said that you can only cancel online. In circles I go. Totally bad, no good experience. Waste of hundreds of dollars. read more
