I also noticed a call button which I find useful in cases such as no towels or accidentally vacuuming something. The vacuums worked great as well which I definitely appreciate. The lack of a star is due to the back of my van still being dirty. Around the logo, license plate and back of my window of my Toyota sienna was still very dirty. I don't think my car was so dirty that it couldn't be cleaned as it was just as dirty all around the car, I believe the equipment just didn't get to those spots as well as everywhere else. Besides that, shiny shell seems to know how to tend to their customers in a convenient and friendly manner.

Second, the wash quality is better than other washes in my opinion. Usually the dryers at the end of these car washes dent or push in the roof of my car but shiny shells does not and their washers get in some of the nooks and crannies that other washes do not. Third, they have free car mat cleaner, they only car wash that I know of that does this, they have free soda for patrons, free water sprayer inside so your kids can spray passing cars and they also have a playground area. I'm telling you that this is THE place when it comes to car washes and they have my loyalty for life because of their standards.

Not sure how much time I would be given (It would be nice if this was posted somewhere.), I chose the $12.00 wash. Turns out that gives 24 minutes, pretty generous. As a matter of fact, I finished washing my Corvette with over 6 minutes to spare. I prefer a payment system that charges me for the minutes I use, but 24 minutes for $12 is really pretty good. Just don't like playing the guessing game and the use it or lose it game. Pressure from all the settings were fine, although the foam brush was a tad bit slower to come out than my experiences with other car washes. But here's the problem, and look at my photos: I hand wash my car using the foam soap from the foam brush. It stained my hands pink! And these photos were even after I tried wiping it off. It also stained the white parts of my expensive shoes. Not happy. It also stained my leg where it splashed up from stepping in it. Fast Orange didn't take it off, rubbing alcohol took much of it off, but not all. Not happy about this. Good thing none of it got on my clothes. Good points about this place is that the bays are clean, in the bay I used, everything worked OK. The payment system is a bit confusing and took me three tries. Using the QR code finally worked. Swiping my card didn't. The first attempt using the QR code didn't work. The payment units in the next bay didn't offer anymore information. There is use of free vacuums and drying cloths as well as window cleaner and towels. Those are all good things, but the pink stain and the payment system is a deal breaker for me. 5* = A top favorite. Mind-blowing good. I will definitely return and I will go out of my way to go here. Baker," Technician ID SL014309, on our paperwork) was unfriendly and unwelcoming. There was no greeting--her first question to me was simply how I would be paying. Throughout the inspection process, communication was minimal and came across as very short and dismissive. The bigger issue came with the car wash that was included with our emissions service. I explained that my husband would be washing both of our vehicles, as I am currently very pregnant. The inspector told us that if the timer ran out, she would restart it--no mention was made of any strict time limits or restrictions. However, once we began using the wash bays, the experience became frustrating and confusing. The timer appeared to run for only about 7 minutes (not eight, as later claimed), and while she initially reset it, she eventually began refusing to restart it--despite our vehicles being covered in soap and needing to be rinsed off. When we asked for clarification, we were met with attitude and told we had already been given more time than allowed, which had never been clearly communicated upfront. At one point, I had to insist just to get the timer restarted so I wouldn't have to drive away with soap still on my car. Additionally, I asked if there was a restroom I could use, given that I am very pregnant. I was told to leave and drive to a nearby Maverik instead. While I understand policies around public restrooms, this felt unnecessarily inflexible given the circumstances. When I asked for the employee's name, I was ignored. Overall, the issue wasn't just the policy--it was the lack of communication, professionalism, and basic courtesy. This experience felt unnecessarily stressful and poorly handled. Additionally the place is very run down and not kept up well. I would not return to this location and would recommend considering alternatives like Low Book Sales, just up the street where the service is affordable, more straightforward and customer-friendly.
