I will not be returning. First, you have to choose between dollar amounts. I can't remember the first two amounts but the last two were $9.00 and $12.00. Not sure how much time I would be given (It would be nice if this was posted somewhere.), I chose the $12.00 wash. Turns out that gives 24 minutes, pretty generous. As a matter of fact, I finished washing my Corvette with over 6 minutes to spare. I prefer a payment system that charges me for the minutes I use, but 24 minutes for $12 is really pretty good. Just don't like playing the guessing game and the use it or lose it game. Pressure from all the settings were fine, although the foam brush was a tad bit slower to come out than my experiences with other car washes. But here's the problem, and look at my photos: I hand wash my car using the foam soap from the foam brush. It stained my hands pink! And these photos were even after I tried wiping it off. It also stained the white parts of my expensive shoes. Not happy. It also stained my leg where it splashed up from stepping in it. Fast Orange didn't take it off, rubbing alcohol took much of it off, but not all. Not happy about this. Good thing none of it got on my clothes. Good points about this place is that the bays are clean, in the bay I used, everything worked OK. The payment system is a bit confusing and took me three tries. Using the QR code finally worked. Swiping my card didn't. The first attempt using the QR code didn't work. The payment units in the next bay didn't offer anymore information. There is use of free vacuums and drying cloths as well as window cleaner and towels. Those are all good things, but the pink stain and the payment system is a deal breaker for me. 5* = A top favorite. Mind-blowing good. I will definitely return and I will go out of my way to go here. Worth every dime of my money. 4* = Outstanding. Top-tier. Some elements not quite as good as it gets, but it still is worthy of my regular business. 3* = Good experience. I might do repeat business if it is convenient, the only option, the only one in its category, or on a whim, but would not be among the first thing to come to mind. Would definitely recommend you trying it to get your own take on it. 2* = Not so good. Would not recommend at all. Waste of money. 1* = How are they still in business? My husband and I recently came to the SLC location for emissions testing, and unfortunately the experience was very disappointing. From the moment I pulled up, the inspector (listed as "M. Baker," Technician ID SL014309, on our paperwork) was unfriendly and unwelcoming. There was no greeting--her first question to me was simply how I would be paying. Throughout the inspection process, communication was minimal and came across as very short and dismissive. The bigger issue came with the car wash that was included with our emissions service. I explained that my husband would be washing both of our vehicles, as I am currently very pregnant. The inspector told us that if the timer ran out, she would restart it--no mention was made of any strict time limits or restrictions. However, once we began using the wash bays, the experience became frustrating and confusing. The timer appeared to run for only about 7 minutes (not eight, as later claimed), and while she initially reset it, she eventually began refusing to restart it--despite our vehicles being covered in soap and needing to be rinsed off. When we asked for clarification, we were met with attitude and told we had already been given more time than allowed, which had never been clearly communicated upfront. At one point, I had to insist just to get the timer restarted so I wouldn't have to drive away with soap still on my car. Additionally, I asked if there was a restroom I could use, given that I am very pregnant. I was told to leave and drive to a nearby Maverik instead. While I understand policies around public restrooms, this felt unnecessarily inflexible given the circumstances. When I asked for the employee's name, I was ignored. Overall, the issue wasn't just the policy--it was the lack of communication, professionalism, and basic courtesy. This experience felt unnecessarily stressful and poorly handled. Additionally the place is very run down and not kept up well. I would not return to this location and would recommend considering alternatives like Low Book Sales, just up the street where the service is affordable, more straightforward and customer-friendly. read more

I requested service to get a UTV safety inspection done. Spoke to a male on the phone at the Sandy location, he was having a sidebar conversation with a female who sounded irritated that I made such a request. Snapped that it's by appointment only. I then requested an appointment. 9 am on Thursday. Got to my appointment time to be greeted aggressively that "they don't do that here and have no clue whom I spoke to, further they have no safety inspectors there." Their inspector was at their Draper location and I could drive there to get the inspection done. As a small business owner myself, I would never have the right to speak to my customers that way, or continually tell them they are wrong, nor approach them the way I've been approached all for trying to get a service done on my vehicle. My experience is the service was lack luster, and I was a bother to their normal mode of operation. I will not be going to their Draper location and wouldn't recommend them for safety inspections as they seem to be up in the air about appointment times and/or locations. They may excel in other services, those I can't comment on, their combined car wash looks great with big bays, and plenty of room. read more

This place is amazing!! I have been here before but at their Draper location. But this new location is way better as it is a lot easier to get in and out from the main road. They are all so friendly and helpful! I love that I was able get my emissions at a super affordable rate, registration, and a car wash all in one spot!! The waiting room was so roomy and clean. 5 stars, because this has been my "go-to" for car safety and emission inspections for the past several years. I make 3-4 visits per year bringing my parents cars as well as my own and every visit, the service has been excellent. High marks for: (a.) Location, easy to find, with very good access; (b.) the establishment is well maintained and always clean; (c.) staff is nice, professional and really friendly; (d.) vehicle inspections are extremely quick; (e.) and lastly I enjoy the monthly email promos, the website, and the free car washes for every car inspection. So I got an emissions test done here but it wasn't able to go through because the system wasn't communicating. So I had to go to the dealership and get the emissions test done there. I went back to Curt's and they would not refund me my money for the emissions test that they actually weren't able to complete. Do not go here! read more

I just had two of my cars put through their emission test, they are great to work with and through in complimentary car washes. Top notch.

I left work early in order to pick up my daughter's car and take it to Curt's to have an emissions test and sticker renewal. When I arrived at 5:39 PM, I found the door locked. The technician opened the door and told me that they close at 5:40 even though the hours of operation clearly state they are open until 6 pm. When I pressed the technician to do the emissions test he stated he couldn't because the til was already closed out. He was courteous and apologized, but was unwilling to help me. This is my third time using Curt's. I had a good experience on the previous two occasions, but given my frustration with this experience, it is unlikely that I will give them my business again. read more

Used the location on 13th East for an Emissions test and sticker. Although it was convenient in that aspect, we would recommend watching any valuables that may be left in the vehicle while under their care. An expensive pair of sunglasses vanished from our car during our visit. When confronted with the issue the technician became quite angry and threatened to take me "out back" and settle things "the old fashioned way"-all while verbalizing this in front of multiple customers waiting for their vehicle. They sell you a token for the automated wash for 5$. When I used that same token in the self wash bay, thinking surely my $5 token is worth $5 in the adjacent wash bay, it only gives me 1$ . When I mention that to the attendant, he says, condescending, I should have known it was only worth 1$ in one spot and $5 in another (at the same business location!) He then complained he didn't want to give me another token because some other customer was going to benefit and get $1 of "free wash" from my having put the token in, and not using the self wash bay! How is that for not putting your customer first. Worried about loosing that $1! read more

0 stars is it was an option!!!! My experience would be much better if they at least had a sign saying there may be pending holds on your account from using the car wash. However, what made this place worse than the bubonic plague was the attitude, disrespect, and unsympathetic staff. "This is how it's always been" "you should just deal with it". They even charged me $6.50 more then it said on the automated machine. When I was explaining my concern I was told "there's nothing I can do" and hung up on me. I called back 3 times and she denied all of my calls after the first ring. I then called my bank and the call got disconnected by service problems and I accidentally called the car wash clicking the wrong number. Someone else answered but as soon as I started talking I was hung up on again. Horrible staff. Horrible experience. It isn't hard to have decent curtesy and respect. read more
