The staff were so nice when we came into the office and welcomed us in. The wait was not long and they gave me a tour of the place so my daughter could feel at home if we decided to go with them. Dr. Levine was super knowledgeable and detailed with the consultation. He has 30 years of experience and my friend told me she went there years ago and they did such a great job with her teeth. Reason we did not go with them is the distance from where we live. I wanted to shoot my shot because I heard nothing but great things about this place. Pricing is better than North Potomac Ortho too. Definitely shop around before committing, it makes a difference. This would have been first pick if it wasn't far from home.

I genuinely looked forward to all of my appointments and enjoyed the Invisalign treatment process under Dr. Lavine's direction. Every staff member, tech and the doctor himself were all incredibly friendly, efficient and thorough in their explanations and actions. My questions were always heard and addressed. Dr. Lavine even went as far as to help remove my Invisalign attachments before my wedding, and re-attach them after so that they wouldn't show in my wedding photos. During the consultation the entire team and Dr. G was so informative and gave the best recommendations that will suit my child's needs. I shopped around three different places to get quotes and treatment recommendations but Dr. G got my business! I had gone in asking for a replacement, but he said honesty is the best policy and frankly, this does not need replacement unless you'd really like it done. He did not charge me anything for examining the teeth and the advice - he only would have charged for the replacement, which he himself counseled was not necessary. I appreciate a professional who is clearly not up-selling. He has real professional ethics and puts patient care first. The staff were also extremely friendly, kind and helpful. Gail at the front desk is informative and patient. Lets start with that his front counter staff have less enthusiasm than a wet noodle. Both are very…read moresnippy and rude and catch an attitude if you question them about anything dealing with your dental insurance. My dental insurance is different than most people who have Cigna. I tried to tell both of the receptionist and got a very snippy and rude answer which turned me off immediately. Then I was told I had to pay EVERYTHING up front and would have to be reimbursed via Cigna. Per cigna this is not allowed with any doctors who work or are recommended by Cigna. So I pay for my Dental guard up front along with my X-Rays that I was told I needed. Then I find out by Cigna dental that I was OVER CHARGED because Cigna patients have a set amount they are pre negotiated with the Dr's office and that they should have NOT over charged me. Then I get a third party check from them, that no bank wants to touch because they are stating that it needs to be cashed by them. When I called to ask for another check the receptionist caught a attitude and very rudely finally stated I could pick up another check.... Here's the catch. They work from 8:30 to 5! SO DO I. Go on my LUNCH? LMAO! They close from 12 to 2 p.m. to set up for afternoon appts. So now I have to go and take personal leave to get a check issued to me! How wonderful! As for the actually doctor... he seems very nice and maybe needs to get new ppl and new policies. Maybe if he wasn't giving away Apple Ipod touches I wouldn't have to be ripped off but maybe that's just my thought process. I would recommend you maybe find another place to go to, unless you just have tons of money to give up front with the chance you may get OVER CHARGED and screwed over then this is your place!
