Overview: 3.5/5 was quick but not that great of a job, friendly service tho ---- After a couple of trips to the mountains and many bugs massacred on the front of my car, a car wash was overdue. My social media algorithm was working and I saw an ad on instagram for a free car wash! I signed up with my email and it gave me a free car wash voucher with the lifespan of a month to use it. For the lowest tier (most basic wash) it's $20.99/month. The free car wash includes a single foam wash, bug remover, wheel cleaner, an air freshener, and a dash wipe. They also provide vacuums, tire pump, and wash cloths that should be returned back to them. Given that the bugs were caked on for a couple of months; I'll give the car wash the benefit of the doubt that it would have cleaned it off more if I hadn't waited for so long. With that being said there were a lot of bugs still stuck on the front of the car and side mirrors It's cool that they have the free use of vacuums, tire pumps, and rags... but the vacuums had very little suction :( in the video you can see me try to suck up the dirt but nothing is getting picked up. Having to pull out of the lane I was in when NO ONE else was there (not even a single person at the car wash) because evidently the lane I was in was "for VIP MEMBERS" was not a great first impression. So I compliantly backed up and into the next lane to speak to the same dude...and be told that "the car wash cleans but can't do miracles"..."feel free to join our VIP and pull back through"... As if that wasn't mildly annoying enough I went through the wash and parked to vacuum my car and SURPRISE none of the vacuums were working. At this point I was still the only customer and as much as I would have liked to vacuum my car I was over the experience so I dried and left. I went in to go get my car washed and they broke the cover to my antenna and they denied my claim. They told me it was my fault for not lowering my antenna. Well guess what my antenna does not lower is stationary on top of my roof like a shark fin. Till late night, my claim because they said it was my fault. I do not recommend going to this places if they're not gonna take responsibility for their damaging my car their policy is deny every claim, even if their machine broke or damage your car what kind of shit is that? Terrible staff! Terrible business! I have been paying for a membership acquired by my father over 3 months ago. The company purposefully entered my car plaque incorrectly leading to me being unable to use my membership at all - I had to pay for a service again on top of the membership I am paying for! The white male worker delegated with me and essentially called me stupid and gave me a business card that requires my incorrectly inputted license plate. Once again received no help so I could cancel my membership as I am obviously being taken advantage of with no real help. Please refrain from ever visiting this establishment! They arent worth the money or energy. read more

I visited Maramar Superstar Car Wash today after quite some time. In the past, I have used your single car wash service several times and always purchased the Super Shine wash. However, today, while going through the automatic tunnel, I noticed that the cleaning process seemed different. Previously, the cloth rollers would go over the car twice, but this time it only happened once. After the wash, I saw that the hood and roof of my car were not properly cleaned. I informed the staff at the gate, and they asked me to bring the car back. When I returned to the entrance, I was told that since I am not a member, a manager needed to be called to allow me to go through the tunnel again. When I explained to the manager that the Super Shine wash was not the same as before and did not clean my car properly, I received a rather dismissive response that the system was "out of order," and I was then allowed to go through again. Even though I am not a member, I believe that if a service is paid for, it should be properly delivered at least once. It is not reasonable to charge full price without informing customers in advance about any malfunction, especially when it causes inconvenience and requires multiple trips. In the end, my car was still not properly cleaned, and I had to finish the job myself. I am very disappointed with this experience. read more

When I arrived, I noticed a bright red banner that says Free Car Wash for the Grand Opening. Just pull up, tell the friendly service person you're here for the free car wash, and you're all set! They are prepared for the Grand Opening and there's actually a button for the free wash. What's great about this place: For $9.99 a month, you get a basic wash that includes an air freshener and a dash wipe. On the package of the dash wipe, there's a code to redeem for another free wash! How great is that?! All of the stations where you pull up to wipe and/or vacuum your car is covered. This is perfect for a super hot and sunny day like today! All of the spaces are like this, so you don't have to test your luck for a shaded spot! I was in and out in a matter of minutes and my car was sparkling clean! Plus the location is slightly outside of my route. The only option for billing concerns is a system generated email response, past the promised 3-5 day business day response time, and nothing for 2 weeks. Nothing after location crew supposedly reached to their supervisor. Ended membership and no option to remove your credit card on file. Update: After the manager admitted his wash ripped off my valve stem due to my metal Kia valve covers, the claims dept after leaving me hanging for almost three weeks just replied saying their own operations department determined their wash wasn't responsible and denied me. They said the damage is inconsistent with their equipment (not remembering their own hard metal tracks that the tires roll through). I will be moving forward with an attorney and some consumer watchdog groups. They intentionally keep their contacts very limited and hidden from their customers and leave you waiting for canned responses to hopefully frustrate you. They dont have any posted phone contact for any of their locations. Only a generic fill out form they dont answer for days and days. This will not stand. read more

Love this place! Daniel was super friendly and helped us pick the correct wash plan for our cars. He walked us through all the options and recommended exactly what we needed. Someone should give him a raise! The facility is easy to use and the self serve vacuums are great. They even give you an air freshener and wipes for the interior of your car. Well, i finally found someone yo ask why bathroom had been out of order for 2 weeks. Told it is no longer for customers. Lets see, my price went up to $30.00 a month; $15.00 jump and they take away the bathroom because they don't want people using their equipment. They got your money snd that is all they care about. Costco has soapy joe yearly membership for more than a hundred dollar savings than superstar so that is where Im going. Dont do business with anyone that doesnt put the customer first!!! read more

Although I have enjoyed Super Star Carwash at other locations, my first visit to the brand new location on Miramar Rd. left me a bit confused. When I went to grab a towel for my car, I found that they were all thrown inside the towel stand, which was different from the neatly folded towels at other locations. This was concerning to me, as I couldn't tell if the towels were dirty or clean and I hesitated to use them. As a monthly member, I will give this location another chance, but I hope that next time the towels will be properly folded and presented.
