Ordered headgear in November and was told it was on back order until December. Checked on status on December 21st and was told it would ship week of Christmas. Follow up by phone on 1/8 after several unanswered emails and I was told the order was cancelled and is now out of stock again. They said no excuse we just made a mistake and offered no solution to make the situation better or even attempt to give me a new shipping date. I can honestly say this has been the worst online shopping experience ever! I placed an order on November 16th and reached out on November 26th to request an update on the status to my order as the product has not yet arrived nor has a tracking number been supplied. The email I received was unprofessional and incomplete- merely stating they'd reach out to the warehouse, but no actionable information nor acknowledgement of the inconvenience. Also did not include a signature on the email which is odd. I replied immediately indicating that given the lack of information and unprofessional response, I wanted my order cancelled. To which I received no reply. I called, to speak with someone, no reply and left a voicemail asking for my order to be refunded/cancelled. I called following the thanksgiving holiday and finally got a hold of someone. I started to explain the situation and before I could even give her my order number, the individual I spoke with went off saying she has reached out to the warehouse and they are closed so I wont get an answer until they open next week, but they also can't cancel my order until they hear from the warehouse. Had she shown any level of concern for the consumer experience, I may have been a bit more understanding- but the total lack of tact and frankly downright unprofessional approach , I told her I would be absolutely calling back on Monday to cancel my order and will take all future business to other suppliers as well given their inaction and rude responses. She hung up on me. I feel it necessary to note that I had my husband and son next to me as this phone interaction took place and I even asked them if I was rude and had somehow done something to warrant being hung up on. They were both dismayed by her immediate reaction to not even ask for bare minimum information about the order and to shut me down before attempting to resolve. I.e., no, I was not rude or yelling. She merely was disinterested in providing adequate service. I understand it is a busy time of year, but really...lack of communication between a warehouse and retailer, incomplete emails, delayed responses and policies like "you have to wait till I hear back from the warehouse in order to cancel", and flippant responses from CSRs does not provide any confidence whatsoever in this business.​ read more

I was very excited to find a one stop wrestling shop. I ordered a pair of wrestling shoes and headgear for my son. The headgear was damaged, which I know things like this happen. I called on several occasions and left voicemails, but no return call. So I emailed and they returned my email. At this point, my son's first meet was 2 days away. I finally was able to talk with a customer service manager, Mr. Schroeder (shocked to believe he is a customer service manager.) They gave me two options: 1- buy a new head gear and pay extra for over night shipping to have it on time or 2- send my back (me paying for return shipping) and when they received it they would send me a new one. Needless to say, I will only use this site, when absolutely need to and I have been very vocal sharing with friends and fellow wrestling family. Such a disappointment and to think the headgear that we received damaged, was only $17, in which could have replaced and all would've been good. ***So 3 false statements in your response... but I do like how you closed hoping we could/would reconsider in a nice manner and responding as if you were all about making right, when that clearly wasn't the case. Don't try making it sound like you tried calling and left a message (which you didn't), then acting like I wanted you to send one overnight without showing a picture- I clearly asked if their was anyway it would make before the meet and you said only if I paid to overnight it. Weren't very pleasant on the phone and now you come back with false statements- not a good look for a "customer service manager"??? read more

My son is an avid wrestler and Suplay is a major player in supplying our wrestling with their equipment. I gave this 5 stars as their customer service has always been exemplary, but today, at a local tournament, I decided to purchase some new headgear for my son. Even though the previous night, I already ordered a pair, my son needed a new set today (I was going to send the ordered one back). Speaking with Jo from Suplay in her booth, she promised to track down my order and cancel it before it shipped. She did this within hours of the meets conclusion. I wish I could give half a star because they were able to at least accept a credit card correctly twice. What a horrible experience I have had with this company . We purchased a pair of Nike Freeks for this season. 30 days in they started falling apart. I contacted Suplay and they said to send pictures. I sent pictures and they contacted me say "yes they are definitely defective and we will send a return label. Once we receive your shoes we will credit your card " what do we do in the meantime?? It's wrestling season. So we purchased another pair of shoes. The day they were supposed to be shipped I received a call saying that the size we ordered was out of stock. Are you kidding? So we went with a different size. The shoes that were defective were shipped back and after a few weeks I hadn't heard anything. I sent an email, nothing. I sent another email, again nothing. After sometime and several emails I called again and left a voicemail. I did receive an email afterwards saying that Nike had to look at the shoes. I then emailed them back and said if the shoes were not going to be credited that I wanted them shipped back. Almost immediately I received an email saying Nike refused the damages as it looked and smelled like the shoes were washed. 1st, was the Nike rep sitting right there at that exact moment that I hit my frustrated moment? 2nd, I packaged the shoes myself. 30 days of practice and tournaments I will testify they were not washed!! They stunk!! I put febreze on them as courtesy. I felt I was mislead several times by Suplay. We would have kept the shoes for practice if I knew this would be the hassle. If they are misleading about two pairs of shoes what would a bigger purchase be like? I'm sorry to say I will never do business with this company again and furthermore I will detour future customers from having the same experience. read more
