    I dropped my vehicle off Wednesday morning for Garett's to check a transmission pan leak (tiny…read moredrips) in my 2019 Chevy Silverado. Picked it up Thursday, they said it was repaired, they gave me a run down of other issues from their"inspection" total $1200. Go home and Friday evening I notice that the truck is really leaking transmission fluid now. So of course I have to wait till Monday for them to be open. So after working a 12 hour graveyard shift, I call and notify them as soon as they open Monday, they say they will make it their first priority. So I drive straight there and it takes them till 930 for them to tell me that the transmission pan is leaking, but they will cover it! (Perfect) they gave me a loaner vehicle (Awesome)* this should have been repaired the first time! They call me that day around 4pm and told me the part came in and it would be taken care of first thing the next morning. Around 4pm, I still hadn't heard from them so I call in, the guy who answered didn't want to give me any information and " my representative" was unable. He called me back about 30 minutes later, to tell me that it was the wrong part and the new part would be in the next day. I begin to question how they didn't notice the wrong part was delivered and why it took all day for them to notice when this repair was supposed to be the first priority. At this point he was just giving me excuses, saying he didn't walk around and check with his employees. I ask " that wasn't important enough for them to notify you right away?" I know it takes time to order a new part. I then ask who the manager is, and have to ask again for his name and his last name. Then he had the audacity to be rude to me!! It's already an inconvenience to be out of a vehicle, then to trust a business to repair it and pay what you pay to be inconvenienced even more. I do not recommend this place!!

    Based on the good reviews I trusted them with a deposit over the phone. I live 6 hours away. I…read morepaid a local mechanic to look at the car. Guaranteed Auto Service determined it was unsafe and in need of a number of repairs including a very expensive air suspension repair. It was freshly "inspected" but was not safe according to the repair shop. One of the tires was driven flat making it unsafe. Additionally one of the tail lights has a crack in it where water entered and fogged it out. So it was not visible. For a myriad of reasons the car was not safe and could not pass a properly performed inspection because it was not safe. When I spoke to them over the phone to give a good faith deposit it was refundable. Once there was an issue he said "I have a sign right here in my shop that say deposits are not refundable." Well I could not see a sign over the phone from NYC and its contrary to what you said before. Just think about what type of shop and what type of person would behave this way. If you honestly had a good car why wouldn't you just sell it to someone else and give me back my money? Be careful here. The moment there is a dispute they turn. The car was discounted before I saw it because they couldn't move it. Suddenly there are 6 people they turned down because I had a deposit on it for a few days. This has been my experience. Be careful they don't put you or your loved ones in an unsafe vehicle that shouldn't be on the road. They tried to do it to me. Stay safe!!

Firstly, when I first entered Drive Time, Newport News, Nicole was very unwelcoming and unprofessional. I sat in the waiting area with some nice other woman. When a woman asked me if the lady upfront was rude to me? As they stated that she was rude to them. I observed Nicole, as I sat, and she had her picking of whom she chose to be rude too. I did not purchase a vehicle that night. A couple of days later, the assistant manager, Selina Call me to ask about my experience. Explain what happens with my experience and she invited me back in. I worked with the salesman Mike, who was completely awesome. Mike and Selina assisted me with parting a vehicle that I would need to pick up from Richmond, Virginia. A few days later, I decided to check in to see if there was a vehicle closer to my location before I drove to Richmond for the purchase. Nicole picked up the phone. She was very rude, condescending, and passive aggressive. She said that I would need to come in just to ask simple questions. I eventually asked for the human resources number and she gave me all digits but one. I had to call the Norfolk Chesapeake location to get the correct number. I will tell you the GM in the sales reps. There were also awesome. They answered all of the simple questions that I had. I ended up speaking with the Richmond location prior to picking up my vehicle on a Saturday. I will tell you, Lucy and Brandon were awesome at that location. I did not have any bad experience with any sales reps at all. However, the vehicle that I purchased was a lemon. The vehicle did not make it the hour and a half drive back home. It was undrivable and I was stuck with my toddler. I cannot reach anyone for that Saturday and until Monday. I do not blame the sales reps as if they do not handle the condition of the vehicle. Monday morning I did call customer Relations back as that how I already been my second call, because I had already caught complaining about Nicole. I had to have a vehicle towed myself to the closest dealership, which was the Newport News location. The GM Nicole has no sympathy or empathy at all. I was extremely upset because I have just given down payment, drove to Richmond on my day off, and a card did not make it back. I was gonna look into another vehicle at the Norfolk Chesapeake location however I decided not to give Drive Time any more of my money. Also, with Nicole, being in the face of that location made find another vehicle even more tasteless. I recall the loan and requested my down payment back. I did explain to her that that vehicle was a lemon and she is lucky no one has sued them. I decided to have every conversation through customer relations. Nicole has full customer relations multiple times that my down payment check will be coming to the store itself. As of yesterday they followed up with her again and they sent it to my address without an apartment number. As of right now is very possible for the check to be out in limbo. She has lived multiple times. The guys in the location are awesome Mike and Joseph. I am positive. Their selves are affected by Nicole's Customer Service. The energy in the branch is completely different with Nicole not be in there. As awesome as the guys are. I do not recommend this location at all. Also, I do not recommend a vehicle. I will also like to give kudos to Bobby and Ryan from customer relations who helped assist me through this horrible circumstance. Please read other reviews about Nicole. I'm not a fan of anyone losing their job. However, she should not be working for Drive Time.
