This was the closest thing I've found to Southern California Mexican food since moving to Denver last year. They charcoal smoke their proteins onsite and the flavor is incredible. We tried the Quesabirria tacos and the Asada fries and both fulfilled a craving I've been trying to satisfy since moving here. The staff were friendly and attentive and the restaurant has indoor and outdoor seating. You can also order to-go as well. I will definitely be coming back here! read more

The restaurant staff was very friendly, and it didn't take long for them to serve our food. I thought their food was adequate, but nothing special. I ordered the Taco Tuesday special (with chicken). Three small tacos with very little flavor. My friend ordered the carne en su jugo. He's from Mexico, and he thought it was mediocre. I really hope this place makes it and that they do well. The perfect spot for a good restaurant... the interior is nicely updated from the prior establishment. With some fantastic reviews on Google, I was excited to try. We popped in and got some takeout. The food came quick! First up was the asada burrito, the first bites were full of beans and tortilla... then you get to some meat and more fillings, yum, then back to beans. This is the new restaurant that opened a few months ago in Mayfair. It was Hank's BBQ pre-COVID and then Street Feud for a while after. This is the second Supreme Chicken location to open in the greater Denver area. It is a family owned business and features delicious BBQ chicken with sides (beans, and rice) but the tacos are to die for. They also have incredible margaritas and beer. Though there is ample indoor and outdoor space, they also do a great take out business for those who do t want to dine in. Next time you're in the mood for food, check this place out!! read more

We were hesitant to come by here as we were still grieving Hank's BBQ, lol. And OMG are we glad we came!!! The chicken is superb! Smoked and seasoned on the outside and nice and juicy on the inside. Literally everything was delicious and I loved that the order of chicken comes with grilled jalapenos and spring onions- tastes just like my childhood carne asada/pollo asado get togethers! Their menu is quite extensive and the owner is from Guadalajara. Mariscos are Jalisco style and I can't wait to try their authentic birria! I'm first-gen Mexican-American (family's from Jalisco) and this place seriously tastes just like home and is incredibly affordable. We're gonna be here a lot! read more

If you haven't tried this restaurant, you are missing out. The charcoal chicken is some of the best in the city! It's perfectly tender and has crisp skin. The flavor is amazing! I think this is an undiscovered gem! It's a casual place to eat and the staff is very welcoming and friendly. The service was great. Today I got take out and although the tacos are what I expect tasting good i was disappointed they used styrofoam take out, which is supposed to be banned from Denver restaurants. Not knowing what to expect we took a chance and stopped in for dinner at Supreme Chicken. We ordered smothered burritos. One bite and we knew we were going to be their regular customers. The food was THAT kind of delicious plus the prices were reasonable, the service was good, and the parking was easy.
