The last full day in Humble Texas was Sunday, 12/28/2025 and the time was quickly approaching to run a 50 mile race in Missouri City, Texas starting on Tuesday, 12/30/2025. Ignorance is bliss, I guess. My friend and her husband took me here to this Chinese restaurant called Supreme Dumplings in Katy. I'm not a resident here, just visiting. So, it was good that I came here for a break from Vietnamese food and standard burgers and fries, which are readily available in Texas. With that said, we arrived here around 10:45am. There was a 10 minute wait, so we placed our names on the list and waited before a table became available. We eventually entered and sat at a table that was basically in the middle of the restaurant. We spent about an hour or so eating and feasting. The menu was cute and it was definitely a place where you could dine after attending church, recovering from long run, or a pick up basket ball game on Sundays. My friends decided to order for me while I picked something extra off the menu. We ended up eating family style and it was very nice. It was very nice and casual. The restaurant itself was very clean and the service was very much spot on and friendly. I would definitely recommended if you enjoy boutique restaurant surroundings while having Chinese cuisine on a lazy Sunday. The overall experience here at Supreme Dumplings was very good and satisfying for sure. We ordered about 5 or 6 dishes and shared family style. I asked about their beef noodle soup and if it was similar to Pho. Turns out it is not. The taste of the soup says it all. Too bad though. Lol. Still, it was delicious. We also ordered a tan tan noodle dish that was prepared differently than the soupy Japanese version. It was quite interesting and delicious too. The ambiance was nice and relaxed. Very nice and comfortable for sure. Everything was delicious and well done. If you are ever in the Katy area of Houston, Texas, consider coming to Supreme Dumplings if you are a fan of Chinese cuisine or want to try out something other than the standard fast food options out there. While it can be healthier, it probably is, depending on what you have while you are here. For my experience here, I feel like it was a nice lunch and definitely one that I enjoyed that day. The prices were on point with what they were offering and I didn't look at prices because I was on vacation. Supreme Dumplings Chinese restaurant is located in Katy, Texas. It's physically located at 23119 Colonial Parkway in the heart of Katy. They accept major credit cards as well as cash. As far as parking goes, there's not much parking stalls here, since they share with other restaurants and businesses. Best bet would be to come here early enough to secure your parking spot before the lunch or dinner rush begins. If you are like me, public transportation could get you here, but I am not sure if there are routes that will come out to Katy and provide service from Houston proper. Best thing to do is to rent a car or find local friends to dine with. That always helps. There's always Uber or Lyft to get you to this slice of heaven, if you can. There's always Uber and Lyft at your convenience. But however, it can be pricy but I'm sure It will be well worthwhile. The food is absolutely delicious. I don't have not one complain about it 10 out of 10 for the food. The service was also really good. My server was amazing and attentive, even though they were getting ready to close. I never felt that I was being rushed 10 out of 10. My only gripe is that the timing of which the food came out. It did not come out together. I came in when they were just opening and was able to walk in and be seated immediately. It's cool how you can watch them make dumplings while at your table. The tables are very close together though, and I was seated next to a couple where the tables share a long bench and it felt like the three of us were on a date. This might be better if they were busy, but they weren't so it was awkward. The spicy cucumber salad was old and sad there was no crunch to the cucumber, which leads me to believe it wasn't fresh. Absolutely delicious! We came by on a Monday evening and were able to skip the wait due to having reservations. The restaurant is clean, modern, and has an inviting but sophisticated atmosphere. New XLB place and it did not disappoint. Really enjoyed the crab and pork soup dumplings, the pan fried soup dumplings, and the pork chop fried rice. The only dish I didn't care for was the cucumber appetizer which was underwhelming. Finished off with the lava buns which were decent as well but not mind blowing. Definitely check this place out. I heard of this place through TikTok so came for dinner with my partner. I recommend getting a reservation before coming since table gets filled quick and the space is relatively small. The staff are super nice and friendly. I ordered the Mini Pan Fried Dumplings, Supreme Pork Xiao Long Bao, Chicken Xiao Long Bao, Supreme Tan Tan Noodles and Pork Wonton Noodle Soup. To drink, we got the hot lychee black tea. The food was a little disappointing since I had high hopes and all reviews saying it's was the Din Tai Fung equivalent. Both pork and chicken xiao long bao were room temperature and tasted the same. Tan Tan noodle were extremely oily and tasted like straight peanut butter. Pork Wonton Noodle Soup had little to no taste. Finally, the Mini Pan Fried Dumplings had a perfectly fried bottom but the dumplings tasted like if they were frozen. I also ordered the Onyx Lava Custard Bun with Gold Flakes but our server never brought them out since they were out and didn't tell us. The lychee black tea smelled amazing though didn't have much taste which surprised me. Overall, staff and service was nice and friendly but food was disappointing. I was so excited to finally try Supreme Dumplings since I've seen it everywhere on social media. The restaurant had a nice modern design. With how new it was, I was surprised it didn't feel as clean as expected. The chairs were dirty so we had to ask our waiter to wipe it down before we sat down. The soy sauce bottle was also very dirty. Our waiter was attentive and friendly though. I appreciated them making space for our stroller and making sure we were comfortable with a baby. The food was good but not amazing. My favorite was the Szechuan XLB. It was so flavorful! The dumpling wrapper was also perfectly thin but strong so it held the soup well without breaking. The truffle chicken XLB was below average. It had an initial taste of truffle but it was hardly there. The chicken was also not that great. I definitely prefer pork in XLB's. The mini pan fried dumplings were really good! It had a perfect crispy bottom and was filled with soup. So bite with caution! The wild mushroom fried rice had a good flavor but I wished there was more mushroom. The green beans were great! It was seasoned well and I liked that there were mushrooms added. Last night, I had the opportunity to dine at Supreme Dumping during their grand opening. Thank goodness the wait time was only 15-20 minutes for a table for three. While the balloons displayed in the front created a festive atmosphere, the overall experience was average to me. The grand opening didn't feel like a special occasion, lacking any unique dishes, drinks, or special offers to celebrate the occasion. The only promotion they had was a one-drink (non-alcoholic) comp for a review on the spot. Our waitress, Hai, (and only her) was excellent. Her attentiveness made the dining experience better than it would have been otherwise because everyone else from the food runner to the manager, was eh. I think the manager passed by our table at least a dozen times and she didn't smile once. I was also disappointed that they ran out of the vegetable dumplings, as I'm a pescatarian and that left me with even fewer options. I ordered the Supreme Tan Tan Noodles without pork, and everyone at my table agreed it was the standout dish of the meal. As a peanut enthusiast, I was delighted to find a rich, creamy peanut sauce in the dish. The spiciness level was perfect, neither too hot nor too mild. Just enough kick to the dish. On the other hand, the Truffle Mushroom Roll was a bit dry and disintegrated easily when I picked it up. The Chocolate Dumplings, which are mini dumplings filled with liquid milk chocolate were a bit of a letdown. I think it would have been more enjoyable if there had been a fruit piece or something else besides the liquid milk chocolate. It was just very mushy and lacked texture. Unfortunately, we didn't finish the dish. Although I didn't try the XLB dumplings, I was informed that they didn't have as much broth in them as other places. I also ordered a Mango lemonade and it was too sweet for me. It had a very syrupy taste to it. Overall, there are better options for this type of food elsewhere. If you're in the area and craving soup dumplings, you should give this place a try but I wouldn't recommend making the drive if you live more than 10 minutes away. read more

We first tried Supreme Dumplings back in July 2021 when we visited the Bellevue location in Seattle. The food was so good that we kept talking about it every time we had dumplings in Houston and the surrounding area. So when we heard that Supreme Dumplings finally opened in Texas, we were thrilled--Texas really needed a great Xiao Long Bao spot! We're happy to be here at the Katy location today, and everything we ordered tastes just as delicious as we remembered. A couple of small notes: the marinated cucumber was a bit on the salty side, and the Supreme Tan Tan noodles had a little too much sauce. With slightly less sauce and a bit more cucumber, it would be perfect. Everything else was spot-on. The Xiao Long Bao is truly supreme--the dough is perfectly thin. Wishing Supreme Dumpling continued success so we can enjoy amazing dumplings and Xiao Long Bao for years to come. read more

Has a full bar! We ordered shrimp & pork dumplings, shrimp fried rice and and a beef roll. The dumplings we're cooked perfectly and delicious, they were very flavorful. The first serving of fried rice came with an unexpected prize, a hair. Our excitement definitely died down after this but we sent it back and asked for it to simply be remade. We did want to try the chocolate dumplings, but they were sold out that day. Returned today as a walk in around 2PM on Sunday and was quoted 17-32 mins wait time, ended up waiting 46 minutes for a table for 2. Once seated, we were greeted by our friendly server & id say the food came out in a reasonable time. We had the pork xiao long bao, spicy pork dumplings, and tried the shrimp fried rice and crab xiao long bao. While we did like the fried rice and the crab dumplings, we agreed we probably wouldn't reorder. The crab dumplings were a little sweeter than the pork ones. Overall, we do enjoy this place especially for the pork xiao long bao alone! Will definitely be back. They also have a rewards program, so definitely sign up for that. The drinks were the best thing out of that entire meal. Pork Xiao Long Bao were poorly wrapped. The soup from the xlb was leaking out and so were globs of fat. The Pork Wontons were bland & flavorless. Only thing you could taste was the wrapper with a side of oil. The Tan Tan Noodles were decent and had a nice peanut flavor to it. Our server, Nathan, was very nice. Seemed a little rushed, but I did overhear that they were down a bartender so understandable. The restaurant itself was very pretty. Made reservations because I saw a Tik Tok that compared them to Din Tai Fung. Made reservations for 5 people and was seated immediately. Thomas-our waiter-was super cool and made excellent recommendations. The food was fresh, hot, and flavorful. Service was slow but they comp'd a couple dishes to make up for it. My wife and I came to this new dumpling place, at first look glance this place is small but cozy, not too crowded. The service here is good, but it did take about 10-15 minutes for someone to actually come up to us and ask us for our order. Other than that once they get notice they are on top of their service. We ordered the Frozen Mango Lemonade and the Sunshine Lemonade. Both drinks were very good, but the Sunshine Lemonade was served without ice and it came out lukewarm not as cold as we expected. For the our entrees we ordered: Green Stir Fried String Beans Supreme Spicy Pork Wontons Szechuan Spicy Xiao Long Bao The Green Stir Fried String Beans were delicious and very flavorful! Fresh and nicely cooked, would definitely recommend giving it a try. The Supreme Spicy Pork Dumplings were to our liking as well. Taste was great and the spices were not overpowering, this dish was indeed cooked nicely. And for our last dish we ordered the Szechuan Spicy Xiao Long Bao. Since these dumplings were made from scratch I would recommend to be careful and not eat them straight from the get go, give it some time and eat them preferably once they cool down a bit. At first they tasted great, nice flavor and texture, but these definitely have a kick in spices compared to the Wontons that we also ordered. So if you are not a big fan of extreme spice I wouldn't recommend the Spicy Xiao Long Bao, but if you can handle the heat then it is a must! read more
