Customer of the company prior to new ownership for over fifty years and would not renew contract BUT would have renewed it if we renewed on time. And gave excuse that no parts can be found for our oil burner, in 2015 no parts can be found. This is the second time we ran out of oil this year. First time was NYE. Luckily it's not cold out and I know how to bleed and restart furnace since every time I call during business hours I get a recording saying to call during business hours. Very frustrating when we are on auto delivery. As someone else noted they should recalculate auto delivery schedule. read more

Ok so they​ come out, told me oh "were sorry your water feeder is broken" That will be $600 But the water feeder was like replaced maybe 2 years ago. Horrible..I get that everything is behind at this time, but we've been doing pretty good with covid, so why is it taking 2 months with most days over 85, to get someone to fix our tenants a/c unit. My husband & I have 2 tenants over 70yrs old with health issues. The have no ac because the lack of communication is insane among other things. My husband & I have made at least 6 calls to them, each time they have had his phone # wrong. They said they fix it, we call, still wrong. The 1st time they showed up to the wrong apt. We had to wait 2 weeks for another appointment. We explained it was an emergency & our tenants are elderly & sick. They gave us an appointment 2 weeks away. The 2nd time they showed up. The guy didn't check the unit, just said it needed freon. Guess what, 2 hrs later, the apt was 82 degrees again. We had to wait 3 weeks for someone to come back out, no one came..they were supposed to come this past Wednesday. Wednesday comes, it's already 2:30pm, we call to confirm again that they are coming and GUESS WHAT!!!! The recording states THEY HAVE RESCHEDULED MY APPT TO MON the 31st. We have been dealing with this since the end of JUNE. Our original oil provider was bought out by this company. So far they've cancelled appointments without any apology. They've rescheduled my original appointment for weeks later. They do not call to confirm appointments, so I've had to call them to confirm. You can expect to stay on hold when you call and when you do get a person they have no information and can't help resolve the issue. We had an 8am-12pm appointment and since they never call to confirm we called them. They may or may not make it today and it will likely be later in the day if they do come. In the meantime our heat is off and it's 30 degrees outside. I have been trying to get them to service my heater since September it's now mid November. read more

I rarely write reviews, and if I do, they are always to elevate a business....so this is a rare review in which I'm highlighting the shortcomings only after giving this company a chance after several years. I have been a customer of Supreme Energy only by default over the past few years because my previous oil supplier of over 25 years (Mitchell Supreme) sold the business to Supreme Energy. The service and pricing is night and day. I had no issues with Mitchell Supreme, but Supreme Energy pricing and service has taken a fast nose dive. In fact, I discovered that my cost for oil was almost twice the cost of the average price 2 years ago, and had to renegotiate after doing pricing research, but didn't realize they are now seemingly trying to recoup the negotiated price of $2.59 and have charged me a rate that is nearly $1.70 over the average rate of $2.54. I discovered today I am being charged a ridiculous $4.21 a gallon when the average NJ pricing is $2.54 a gallon. In addition, I received a call that my annual service that i pay an additional approx $350 a year (that is usually conducted in the fall)) won't be feasible until February. I understand that covid is causing labor issues, but I shouldn't be charged for a service that is not being provided at the appropriate time. I'm now looking for a new service and have now discovered that Supreme Energy is not accredited by the BBB and is listed as a "closed business" which is making me even more concerned. It's clearly time to move on. I'm sorry that I couldn't elevate this company in a positive light, but given the fact of the last 10 reviews, they were one star, and apparently they are from 2018-2020... says a lot. Totally ripped me off last winter when I called and ordered $700 worth of fuel. My tank filled up before I got to $700 worth. Then I called them up to try to get a refund or a credit and no one returned my calls. There's about 100 fuel oil providers in the area, don't bother with this one. read more

I have lived in my house for 50 years and have used Supreme Energy for over half the time. They have removed an old system, installed double tanks, and have done excellent service over these years. I can depend on them for service and for outstanding plumbing and boiler needs. I have never had a problem with this company from the customer service people to the technicians. read more

I called these guys twice for an estimate for a new central AC unit. They never showed up for the appointment. The salesman then asked me to mail him the other estimates that I got. I did so. They never got back in touch with me. I used these guys for 25 years for my oil service (until I recently changed from oil to gas). You would think that Supreme Energy would have bothered to have given a call back to a long-time customer who spent many thousands of dollars with them. read more

IMO, The worst. I agree with Joe S. The Jayson Co. installed my Goodman furnace and was acquired by Supreme Energy on March 17, 2017. In December, 2017, I called Supreme with questions about the 10 year warranty coverage. They did not have a copy on file so I emailed them the contract. I made many follow up calls which went to voice mail after extended hold times. None of my calls or emails were returned. After 3 days of wasted effort, I finally made contact with the original representative. She said that she had to talk to her manager. After some additional back and forth, I was advised that they would not honor the warranty and with no explanation. I had to contact Goodman to get good answers within only a few minutes. The Supreme representative was lazy and rude. And I think she took pleasure in telling me that it would cost $249 for a visit and $95 per hour for labor. Good grief! read more

We've been with this company since we moved in, and for the most part, they were fine. A few years back, we came home and saw grey smoke in the house both upstairs and down. We came to find out this happened because the techs who came to clean our boiler never cleaned out the exhaust piping, which caused a buildup, which then led to the backup. No one ever apologized, but we moved forward and just made sure they vacuumed each time they came. Their prices are pretty expensive overall, but last week they charged us $3.99/gallon. They miscalculated the auto delivery, and luckily we happened to check and found out that we were on empty. We called on a Saturday and were told that they would not deliver as their priority were people without heat. Fair enough, but we would be one of those people soon, and with an impending blizzard bringing 2+ feet of snow, this would be bad. They promised an oil delivery Monday - at the height of the storm. We tried calling back on Sunday to see if they could deliver even a small amount. We called their 24/7 emergency number, NO ONE PICKED UP. We called multiple times and got the same answering machine. We eventually got in touch with someone, and when we explained the situation, she told us to "go to the website" where we'd find a form to fill out for emergency delivery. We asked her to stay on the phone until we found it because we were on the website and didn't see that anywhere. She would not and hung up, and there was no emergency form on the site. So I filled out the form that was there, and the next day a salesman contacted us as though we were new customers. Then on Sunday out of nowhere, a tech shows up in our driveway and tells us he saw us come up in his system as having no heat. We did not ever tell the rep that we didn't have heat or that our boiler wasn't working. He was very frustrated with the company, but otherwise had a nice chat and he left. The salesman never returned my email despite me detailing this ridiculous experience we were having. Then, the company tells us we owe them $300 for the "emergency tech visit" for not having a working boiler. We explain to the rep that this isn't true, and she comes back accusing us of lying. Incredible. Then says that the tech offered us 20 gallons worth of fuel. Again, not true! We decided to cancel our contract and go with someone else. Once HOP Energy took over, it's been a nightmare. Worst company ever! The agent signed my business for energy and gas without my consentment! I called and he said he was going to cancel the energy contract and he never did, i got my billed from peco and I called this agent to see what happened and he does not answer me or call back! I have left voicemails and I even called customer service and nothing! I called to speak with a supervisor and they got my number and info and still nothing! Still waiting!! Now i called Peco to cancel with this company and they even charged me a fee for cancellation when i never even signed up with them! Be careful people!! read more

They installed a new furnace for me 3 years ago. It has not worked properly. It didn't work from the first night I needed it. I called for service and they charged me for service calls. I was under the impression that SINCE it was a BRAND new unit, it shouldn't need service. And if it DID need service, there shouldn't be a charge for it. But this sneaky little company, not only did they take my money (Because I am an honorable person, and probably a shmuck as well) but they will still not come and fix this unit. We agree with all these negative reviews about Supreme Energy. During this recent cold spell we had to call them every day for 6 days before they delivered oil to us. They did not believe our tank was running on fumes. Our house was freezing!! When we did get the oil, they did not leave us an invoice. We called asking how much the bill was and we were told the driver did not leave us any oil because our tank was full!! We watched as our tank filled with oil. The gauge going from empty to full. They maintain we received no oil. Can you believe this? If it wasn't so serious, we'd be laughing. We've written a letter to the president of the company. Let's see if we get a response. We called them for oil delivery this morning because our tank was empty. In the afternoon, we received the bill alert from bank that Mitchell charge us $650 and then we believed that they had refilled our tank. However, when we got home. The tank was still empty. We got nothing, but only the bill of $650. We called them but no one can explain what happened. What a horrible company. A bunch of thieves. I had a water heater installed by them and since day 1 ive had problems with it. The water heaters keeps turning off and on, my tenants are complaining that it takes 5-10min to get hot water in the morning. They replaced a part that was making weird noise and sent me a bill that i do not plan on paying. I continue to contact them about this bill but what a coincidence, the managers are always in a meeting when i call. Stay away from these thieves and pay a company that backs up their work, these "mechanics" even forgot to install a thermostat and it took them 6 months to realize it. read more
