I've been going here for 3 years now. Great daily specials, which are always named after a movie theme. The Irish Eggs Benedict is my personal fav. I've also had many omelets, steak & eggs and pancake's. Overall much better than most breakfast places in the area. In the summer they have fresh fruit as a side. Seating can be a little tight when crowded but it only adds to the charm. John and Stan, either own or run the place, but are very nice and genuinely interested in what you think of their food or new twist on an old favorite. Supreme Kitchen is easily my favorite breakfast/brunch/lunch spot. The staff is friendly, the prices are amazing, the atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, and the food is consistently delicious. It's not perfect, but what place is? I'm just going to be honest and give a few negatives, so you don't think this is just a bogus gushy praise-fest. The place is small. If you have more than 5 or 6 people, you're likely going to have to wait for a table during the busy hours. In addition, the food isn't perfect. Some of the side items are on the greasy side; take that as you want it. Some see that as a minus, I see it as an instant hangover cure. Finally, since the renovations, the place is SUNNY. Like, sun beating on you if you have a window-side table. I've told them to get some shades... I'll have to keep bugging them until they hook that up. Now, for the good stuff. Just about everything on the entire menu, however, is delicious. The omelets are always perfectly cooked. Seriously. Every time I see one come out from the kitchen it's perfectly golden and folded like an omelet should be. Best part? They're real omelets... not frittatas pretending to be omelets. The pancakes are some of the best I've had, trumped only by the pancakes at Highland kitchen. They're fluffy, piping hot, and filled with just about anything you could want. The breakfast wraps are just as customizable, and just as wonderful. Finally, the specials. Oh, the specials. Always fun, always diverse, and always delicious. The seasonal pancakes (especially pumpkin) are even better than the buttermilk variety when you're looking for something different. Also, if you ever go there and see the stuffed french toast on the specials board, get it. You won't be sorry. French toast, stuffed with cheese and whole sausage links, and dusted with powdered sugar. Every time I get it I'm in heaven. The staff is very friendly. The service isn't the best, but it's not awful. I've read reviews that the staff here isn't friendly, and I just don't understand how the reviewer got that impression. Maybe the dry wit they throw at you? The servers and I are constantly joking back and forth with each other, but it's always good-natured. Think of them as friends or family, and you'll enjoy yourself a lot more. I know I always feel like family when I'm in there. I also need to mention the prices. They are so low, you'll think they messed up the bill. You can stuff your face until you can barely walk for under 10 dollars. The food may not be the best you've ever had, but it's damn good. o supreme kitchen how you have changed...from my talk with stan they have changed ownership and menu's, i moved in across the street 2 years ago, literally 75 feet from the joint, it was amazing. The breakfast burrito was heaven sent packed with hash browns veggies eggs salsa and your choice of meat, I went in recently and they took out the hash browns and added something i'm not yet sure about. So on to the next entree the blueberry pancakes, I used to enjoy these on sunday morning, so tasty and packed with blueberrys and butter, well i went out on my motorcycle one moring and stopped in here before my trip and ordered my second favorite and couldnt believe that they got rid of fresh and or frozen blueberrys and gone with blueberry preserve of some sort. Maybe it's changed but from what I saw and in my opinion, I lived for a year off this place for breakfast and it is horrible now, minus the supreme breakfast sandwich, they kept that on and it is amazing, 2 pieces of french toast, a hash brown, egg, sausage and syrup you may have a heart attack afterwards but you'll die in food bliss. read more

for those extra rough morning-afters, supreme kitchen was always the obvious choice. we lived on the corner of porter & highland, so we could literally stumble across the street into this place. convenient, yes. but "supreme" isn't exactly the word I would choose here. more like "adequate." the place is very small - you do feel like you are inside somone's kitchen. and wow - these guys REALLY love U2! the service was a little slack - surprising since the place is so small. it should definitely not be that difficult to get some ketchup or a refill on my water. the food was not bad, but not great. Im not sure what I expected from this hole-in-the-wall nuzzled between don's & the little asian convenience store with half its inventory expired (still, I love that place!) but I was kind of disappointed. for a good greasey spoon breakfast, you would be better off to haul your butt up cedar street to broadway, tough it out & wait in line at kelly's. the food and service will be better, and the prices cheaper. read more

My bf and I decided to check this place out since we live so close. It is a cute little mom and pop type place and I had heard that the breakfast food was pretty good. We usually go further into Somerville to Neighborhood Restaurant but felt a little lazy today so walked across the street here. So we get there no wait so far so good. I like the self service coffee. Takes awhile to get our order in but okay. We ordered two breakfast bonanzas with eggs over easy and rye toast, pretty basic short order breakfast stuff, right?? WRONG! 55 minutes later no food! Four tables came in after us, two two tops and two one tops. Two of those tables had ate and left, another had ate and was ready to pay, and the one next to us just got their food. No one ever offered any explanation to why our order was taking so long and why four tables who came in after us were either gone, done, almost done and waiting to pay, or eating. Finally we could not take anymore waiting and asked to pay for our coffees so we could go someplace else. Suddenly the waitress was like oh your order is next up, are you sure? Want it to go? Na, I don't think so I can not bring myself to contribute to such bad service. I recommend going anywhere else that might actually take less than an hour to make your breakfast or provide some measure of service. read more

don't eat here. one star is for the food, but this place is disgusting... walked in, there were flies in the windows, the ones that have been around for while because they were moving very slowly and were easy to kill. the owners says oh, those must have just flown in, we had the door open a little while ago. no, these are flies that have been trapped for hours, clearly. our silverware was filthy, it looked like they literally weren't washed, egg was dried up on both of our forks. a party walked out when we were there because their glasses were dirty. it was just really disgusting. the whole time we were there the owner kept saying, oh my it's never like this, something must have happened in the dishwasher and just kept defending the place. they have lukewarm water, or cold water in the fridge, which you have to pay for. don't understand why they can't make ice? coffee was 3.00, not worth it. food was lukewarm. please, please don't go here. read more

Bad place, dirty utensils, the potatoes were plain, loud tv, only 30 mins parking limit....they charged me $13 for my 'barely edible' omelette and its CASH only! Only 1 waitress that tries to do it all....Nice try, I wont be back! read more

This place is fantastic. The specials are different every weekend and they put just as much love into making the food as they do the socially relevant nick names for eggs benny. The regular menu is just that, pretty regular, but the specials are stellar. Not to mention the guy that runs this place is a hidden gem himself. If you're in Somerville and want something quick and decent but can't wait 45 minutes to get seated at The Neighborhood or Soundbytes, you should give Supreme Kitchen a shot. My boyfriend and I arrived here by accident. It was only because Highland Kitchen had an hour wait that we stumbled upon this place. We walked in and there was a couple of people in the place along with all the employees having a sit down breakfast in the tiny dining area. We looked at the menu and I thought how expensive it seemed for breakfast. Usually for him and I is less than $20. I usually get 3 eggs and the works! It was almost $30 for breakfast, and that was with sharing a drink. I was starving at this point so we ordered. We got our food and I dug right in. No one can screw up eggs over easy so the eggs were good. But the potatoes tasted old, the sausage undercooked, and the bacon burned. I ordered a couple of pancakes and in my opinion you shouldn't need a knife and a fork to dive into a fluffy pancake. My pancake was hard on the bottom and not very fluffy at all. Awful awful place! Waitress was distracted and rude. Food was horrible. Scrambled eggs dry and over cooked, pancakes tasteless, no fresh fruit options, and toast and English muffins cold. Orange juice had gone rancid. Coffee old and gray when you put cream in it. I will never go there again. Was really hoping for a great diner experience in the neighborhood but so disappointed. I really wanted to like this place, but I was turned off by the extremely greasy food. I know it's that type of place (which I typically don't mind for breakfast) but it was just over the top and took over the flavor of any of the ingredients. The food was decent but not great. I got the country fried steak which looked good but was really overcooked and hard. The portions are big which is nice but I would say the quality isn't great. The fresh squeezed orange juice, however, was delicious. The server was friendly and attentive. Sadly. we never got to eat the food here. We waited for the waitress to take the payment and clear a table but after 15 minutes it never happened so we left. The restaurant is tiny and the tables are very close to each other. There was only one waitress for about 12 tables. read more

People are very friendly but food leaves alot to be desired. I have been there for a breakfast and lunch. The breakfast was decent but the lunch was terrible. Nothing like chomping down on french fries that taste like fried fish. Clean out your cooking oil once in awhile. Chicken sandwich just didn't taste right. read more
