After our initial meeting, I was very impressed with both their knowledge and abilities and we hired John & Janey as our new pool service. They got everything working properly again and even got my spa working as it had never worked before. All the problems were originals made by the contractors who built our pool and never addressed by the old pool service. So my pool finally operates as it was supposed to - two years later! I apologize but you will need to find another company for all three pools . At Martinez you have too many cracks in the pool and per Mauricio pool looses too much water and will make us use a lot more chemicals. Sorry for this but I can no longer help". I'd told them that the filter had been replaced on 2/27 and the water hadn't been on and I would have helped on any extra chemical expense. I'd told them the situation with the filter when they started. But she didn't bother asking and just left me stranded.So they behaved in a very inconsiderate and unprofessional manner. And, they misdiagnosed what was going on with a pool. If everything is simple, and they can do it their way , they're probably fine but their priority is themselves, not the customer.

Sergio has worked for me for 18 months. He drained & bead cleaned my tile $1500, installed new…read morefilter system $2350 5/24, suggested a new saltwater system $2500 installed last week 8/24, until all of my pool equipment was STOLEN 4 days later. He then made another $5050 to reinstall an entire new system again after I agreed to pay him before Farmers even took care of the claim. Sergio hired a friend, Jaime an installer who had only done work ONLY inside gate guarded communities, I was the first install job where I was not secure in a gate guarded community. Sergio immediately questioned him knowing this was suspicious and when we started investigating, I shared all of the negative reviews from Yelp, and he said he never vetted him. They broke into my backyard, ruined my gates and professionally stole it and hauled it over the 5-foot block wall and out of my yard. I have 5-to-8-foot walls around my entire home, this was not easy to obtain access and certainly to remove with the weight going over the block walls. Sergio contacted the police department and placed a report since I was two hours away. My neighbor has been reviewing the camera footage to hopefully catch and convict, but the police department included nothing really happens criminally anymore! Sergio offered to cover my $1000 deductible, but when it came to the final payment, he didn't honor the commitment he provided me with in writing. In fact, after looking into the cost of the equipment he pocketed $5,000+ for both installations. I spent thousands on deductibles, new security and camera system for my yard, additional expenses to take time off of work, gas and all of the work with the added stress of feeling completely violated by allowing this to happen. To top it off his father has been cleaning my pool and we have had algae and mold of the tile which I have asked to be cleaned in multiple communications even when he was on his honeymoon. I just can't get over the lack of integrity, so I terminated him. In addition, when I asked for my other pump to be reinstalled (which was new) he told me he got rid of it. It was new and most likely sold!! He sent me a text message offering to pay the $1000 deductible but after demanding the full payment saying that I agreed to pay for the new system. This was a painful and expensive lesson be careful who you hire and who they bring onto your property as this has cost me sleepless nights and thousands of dollars!!!!
