In response to the owners response: The estimator called me at 5:42 pm! My original appointment schedule through their online system was for 10:00 am. The day before, I received a call from the office stating that their schedule needed to be reworked and could the person come at a different time (wasn't raining the day before, by the way). We agreed upon 2:00 pm. I never received a call until AFTER I posted my Yelp review. read more

Temis showed up quickly the same day about 30 minutes after my initial call. I was surprised because I had called about 10 companies and heard back from just a few to make appointments later in the week for just an estimate. I had five 20 ft Paperbark trees that had very invasive roots to be removed. We negotiated a fair price and Hernan showed up with his 3 man crew about an hour later. In about two hours, they had all five trees cut down. Another huge crew with about 8 guys showed up a few hours later to cut out and remove the stumps and roots. They were very thorough and cut out roots that were 4 to 5 feet from the base of the tree as Temis had promised. It was a messy business with paperbark flying all over, but they cleaned up the same night. They even came back the next morning to do a better clean up and fix a few irrigation lines that had been entangled in the roots. I couldn't be more happy with their service. Everyone was professional and treated me respectfully including Temis, Ellie in the office, and Hernan who ran the jobs. These guys are the best, and I still can't believe they got it all done in one day, the day I called. They clearly want your business. read more

i received a confirmation email yesterday at 9:05am for the free estimate friday, may 15 - 3:00 pm from supreme tree experts by 3:30pm no one arrived. i had previously submitted an email with pics for the "ballpark estimate". no response to that request; yes i did check the spam folder. i called, talked to the receptionist, i was told that there was "a scheduling change". she told me that since i submitted the ballpark estimate, supreme tree landscape would not be completing the scheduled free estimate due to the scheduling change. why email me the confirmation email for the free estimate if the appointment was cancelled? no one notified me of this cancellation...no email or telephone call!!! i was told that the receptionist told someone to contact me of the ballpark quote either by phone or email yesterday after the confirmation email was received! no one contacted me at all!!! i had to call the company to find out that "a scheduling change" overrides our appointment with no notification of this??? this is not how to treat a potential customer. thank goodness for the free estimate appointment, it does provide the potential customer an example of the service or in your case lack of service to expect. read more

The BEST! Ellie answered my call and was so friendly and easy to work with. I scheduled an estimate for a Thursday, they called on Monday and asked if they could move the estimate up to Tuesday, which worked out great. Temis arrived on time and was no nonsense, which I really appreciate. The quote was less than what I expected based on friends and neighbors experiences AND they were able to schedule just 48 hours later! On the day of trimming, the crew showed up early - love it - and made quick work of removing three trees, grinding those stumps and three other stumps and trimming a Jacaranda tree. All of this work was done in about 2 hours and had I not known they were there, no one would have known. No branches, leaves, soil, wood chips .... nothing left behind. They used a blower around the entire property where they had worked and traveled. So professional, such a great price, such a great job! We called Supreme to get a large tree that was leaning removed. We were a bit worried with everything going on but the young lady at the office was nice enough to answer all my questions. The estimator, Temis showed up as scheduled AND he was wearing a mask and gloves when he greeted us!!! He gave us a reasonable price so we scheduled the work. Supreme Tree Experts of Orange County truly are experts!! They did an outstanding job of trimming, lacing, and balancing the shape of a huge very old Olive tree that had not been trimmed for many years. They also trimmed a huge Orange tree that had also been neglected for years, and a Eugenia tree. All were done perfectly!!! I was most concerned about the Olive tree--that it would be trimmed properly and still retain its beauty. Hernan explained the whole process and the head specialist trimmed every branch by hand! I have 6 olive trees all needing some professional care and attention and am very happy with how they now look. My regular gardener nor I could ever achieve this look, plus these trees are a big investment for my property that I will only allow a licensed arborist to work on them. No power tool was used to trim, clean and balance the shape of these trees -- all the work was done by hand with pruners and a lopper and with a lot of care and an eye toward artistry. Customer service was excellent from start to finish. I had contacted Supreme via their online system on Friday, submitting photos of the trees. The office manager Marlena replied within a couple of hours advising their arborist reviewed the photos and provided a rough estimate for each tree. She offered to schedule an in-person estimate for the next day to allow for a formal estimate/quote. The estimator Hernan came out Saturday, inspected each tree, did a little hand pruning to show how he'd approach each tree, took the time to understand the overall and long-term look I wanted and provided his quote which was right in the ball park of the original estimate and another quote I had received from another company. I liked the level of care, communication and service I received so I decided to hire Supreme. Hernan and his co-worker arrived on time and worked diligently for about 4.5 straight hours to get the trees done. They cleaned and hauled away all the debris leaving the yard clean. This company has been a HUGE disappointment. They charged me $2,000 over a month ago to fix sprinklers that only took the workers about 4 hours. Temis made it sound like it would take a significant number of hours to fix-apparently not. Temis is the salesperson that came out to my house and after multiple discounts ended at $2,000. He ensured me that every single sprinkler would be fixed so that it was spraying the water in the plants (rather than cement) and replace any needed nozzles. Well, a week after they came by and I paid them in full, I called Supreme because 2 of the sprinklers were not working. They gave me a day and time that they would come to fix the sprinklers. I took half a day off for this. They never showed up. I called the office and Temis directly several times and no one answered. No call, no show. I could not believe this level of unprofessionalism after already overpaying for the work. This was followed by weeks of leaving messages. No one called me back. Finally someone pick up the phone last week when I called. Temis said that because of the heatwave, they didn't come to my house but failed to notify me in any way of this decision not to come to my house. He then assured me that they would be at my house a few days later. I again took the day off for this. The day arrived, they never showed up. I waited ALL DAY and nothing. I text Temis in the morning and he said that I was on the schedule for the day. No one showed up the entire day...no one called me! Another repeat of their lack of professionalism (BTW, there was no heatwave this time-but still no show, no call!) Now I am back at trying to get a hold of them. I have left numerous messages and texts and no one is getting back to me. Stay as far away as you can from this company! I wish I would have! read more

It has been almost a year to the day since my last review for this company. We just used them again last week to trim our huge Eucalyptus tree in the back yard. Once again, they did a great job trimming the tree and as always cleaned up all of the limbs and leaves. The tree looks great and very healthy. Trimming the tree is good for it and it prevents a limb from breaking off and perhaps doing damage to your home or car- or worst case a person passing by. It also allows lots more sun to come into your home and yard. They are good guys that work hard. While they were working on our tree, another neighbor came out and decided to hire them on the spot. read more

I arranged to have an estimator come out to give me an estimate. I had previously had my trees trimmed for $500 from this company. Several years later the price had increased go $700, even though I did mention that the service had been completed previously for $500. I told them I would think about it. A few days later I received a message reducing the estimate to $600. I decided to have the work done and called to arrange for the service to be completed. The price was verified by phone. The crew arrived at 9:30 instead of the 2:00 scheduled time. Then the crew manager said that they couldn't do the service for the agreed upon $600, but he would give me a deal for $1300. What? I did not agree and called the office. The operator said she would look into the matter and call me back. Never happened. read more

The service started out professionally but from there it went downhill. I asked to have my trees and bushes trimmed and when they completed the job my trees and bushes were bare bones. To top it off they broke my sprinkler head and when I said I was not satisfied or happy with the work. The Supreme Tree Expert employee told me that he thinks it looks good and that's how it's supposed to look. We had been looking for a tree company for some time when a very nice and professional postcard flyer appeared on our front door. I phoned the company and talked to a very nice woman who made an appointment for an estimate. She gave me a 2 hour window and said the estimator would phone me to give a specific time. I took off work to wait at home and guess what? Not only did they not show up, I never received a call of apology. Nothing! They had all my information. This is not a surprise. We've found that less than half of the vendors we make appointments with ever show up. Poor business practices. But for Supreme, they put in the expense of printing nice cards, having them delivered in my neighborhood, and then having someone take appointments. All of that was lost since the weak link in their marketing/sales chain was bothering to show up. read more

I have a very large Ficus tree over my Koi pond and expensive landscaping. I was very concerned about the branches destroying the landscape or debris in the pond. Supreme tied a tarp from the tree to my house over the pond and there was no damage. The best trimming and shaping that this tree has seen in many years. Poor customer service. Had an appointment scheduled for April 16. Received a reminder email about the appointment the night before as well, but the rep never showed up. Called the following Monday (because for some odd reason their offices are closed weekends) and was told they would contact the rep to find out what happened and call me back. Supreme has done a good job for us for many years. This year their work was excellent and the trees look good, all ready for the Santa Ana winds! But the price was on the high side this year. I was told it was more expensive because it was going to be an all day job. However, they didn't come to the house until 12, had a lunch break, and then started working around 1. So the price didn't match the time I was told the job would take. I love their work, but, the price may force me to look elsewhere next year. read more

First, the bad and ugly: We had 4 trees removed. In the process the crew cut 2-3 12V outdoor lighting lines and an irrigation pipe. They told us about the pipe and fixed it right away. We didn't notice that the 12V lines were cut until that evening when the yard was dark. Despite numerous phone calls and assurances that the problem would be taken care of, no one has come to fix the lines as of today (12 days later). The good: The crew was fast and cleanup was good. We were thinking of using Supreme for some trimming but now we don't know. read more

We have 10 palm trees in front/backyard. I had previously recv'd a quote from another huge tree trimming company (rep came over to check the trees). Saw Supreme Tree Experts online & gave them a call & spoke to Marlene (admin) & call forwarded to Temis. Provided him brief info on type of tree noting one tree is different from the rest of 9 trees. We agreed on phone for the amount, he did not offer to come over to check the palm tree, work involved. He said crew can do it 1/29..I said ok. Rec'd the invoice 1/28/16, responded to Marlene on email noting pics of trees attached.To make a long story short, apparently, the one diff palm is a Canary palm (Temis said he never saw the pics because he already went home). He called while his 2 person crew's working on the trees-he said he will need to charge me $500 extra on that one tree (vs $100/tree). After long discussion that for him to make such a drastic increase when contract was agreed, it is not fair to me as a client..I told him I will agree to additional $250 for that one tree but not $500! The crew did a good job but just beware--you MUST make sure there will be NO CHANGES on agreed contract...crew was holding out trimming that one tree while I was on phone with Temis. He called after his crew finished everything & told me he's giving me back $50 credit so the quote from other company same as his..in reality, if he stuck and followed the contract, I'm still $200 out of pocket. The only reason I agreed to pay the additional $250 was due to the fact I don't want to hassle further & end up not having that one tree done. I'm in HOA board/landscaping and now hesitant to recommend this company. He should have honored the contract & I would have been more than happy to recommend the company to neighbors & friends. I hope this is a lesson learned for Temis...if you don't know exactly what job entails and actual type of trees - your client is not the tree expert - you are (if you would have called in the morning & asked me to resend you the photos before your crew got here at 9am, you would have had better idea the correct type of palm tree. The two crew were very good and polite - it's not their fault how this went down. fyi: I emailed Marlene about the photos I sent 1/28 when I acknowledged receipt of the invoice she sent 1/28 --she claims it went in their Spam in-box -- that's not an excuse. They cut my pine trees way way back and ended up mostly killing them. Told me they were licensed arborist, but found out they are just a member of some tree trimming association. The registered arborists told me they would have never cut the trees that late into the summer. Registered arborist state they would cut max of 20%, maybe 25%, Supreme cut about 65% and then...the trees died. stay away. On top of it, I have found registered arborists locally for less money even! read more

Supreme's crew just removed a 100' tall, 55-year-old ash tree from our front yard and did a "supreme" job. It took 3 days including stump grinding. They were on-time, on-cost, no property damage, and good safety procedures evident. They left the work-site clean and ready for re-planting. I recommend them! read more

june 2014 - absolute nightmare. Told me he was an arborist, he is not. Killed 4 of my 60 year old pine trees. The real arborists who saw their work said my trees have been "ravaged". He cut back about 70% of the tree, the most real arborists cut back is 20%, maybe 25%. I kept saying it is june, isn't it too late int the season, Temis assured me it was ok. The real arborist companies do not cut trees, they just say no, wait until winter. All Temis/supreme cares about is the money, and they overcharge by the way. STEER CLEAR.
