This location is way better than the one in Medford, MA. I will drive out of my way for this place. Service is excellent, Atmosphere is a vibe and food is abundant and delicious. Thin sliced pork belly, ribeye, and thin sliced brisket are my groups go toos for lettuce wraps. Herbal tea is cold and delicious to wash down all the nutritious food!

What a find! I went on google search and came across this gem as one of the listings. Drove 40 mins each way, 2 days in a row because it was so good. Coming from Southern CA where Korean BBQ is very popular I found it difficult to find a decent place that is reasonably priced in MA and RI. Alex, the waitress is awesome. She provided us with fantastic service and is very quick with drinks and kitchen appetizer runs. Very good with cleanliness. She also recommended a good Korean beer "Cass Fresh", which has a light and smooth taste. From the outside, it doesn't look like a very busy place, but it definitely should be. Highly recommended. Good and wholesome selections of meats, vegetables, sides, salad bar, corn cheese. The steamed eggs costs $1 but it is SO worth it. They have 2 amazing sauces table side (teriyaki and spicy garlic), and if you're a spicy sauce fan, ask for the really spicy sauce from the kitchen to mix with the spicy garlic dipping sauce. They also have additional sauces at the bar. All for just $30 per person. For the vegetarians, it is only $25. My favorites were: Spicy marinaded pork belly, sirloin steak, thin sliced beef and pork belly, super spicy secret sauce with the spicy garlic dipping sauce, kimchi, fish tofu, fish ball with stuffing, fresh white rice. If you're looking for a reasonably priced, good all you can eat KBBQ. This is the place to be. They also have hot pot as well, KBBQ and hot pot price together is $40 per person. Great place to have an eat and cook experience with friends and family!

our server was like "we've made a lot of changes" and girlllll was she right!!! I'm all about change if it's the kind like spring after winter, and that's exactly what the changes to Sura felt like the new system for All You Can Eat is everything I've ever dreamed of... like look at the pics I took of that self-serve meat fridge big big big fan of being able to control my own portions of meat and ban chan and rice so that I don't risk getting more than I can actually eat we stuck to our fav meats bulgogi and LA galbi which were both high quality and well marinated at $30 per person this is a steeeeeal! unlimited galbi for that price? in this economy? there's still hope in this world

Sura is now self serve for a majority of the food and it makes the experience much better! Being able to get your own meat in the portions that you want makes everything faster and easier Great selection of Asian alcohols also

    Brisket, beef,pork.

Food was good. I didn't like that I had to cook my own food for $30. However all you can eat. The waitress was extremely polite, kind and attentive. Very gracious. She made the experience for me. However not a fan of this style of buffet.

I am so excited to finally have tried Sura Korean BBQ. A lot of people told me that they enjoy it and this is the only Korean BBQ spot in Rhode Island. I came on a Sunday afternoon and there were some big groups there. The grill is already on the table with metal tongs to place raw meat and scissor to cut cooked meat. There is a QR code for you to look at the menu, guidelines, and cooking tips. You do the BBQ by yourself, but the servers were walking around so I am sure they could help if you needed it. They first brought over some banchan (sides) such as, Kimchi, Sweet and Sour Radish Salad, and Marinated Bean sprouts. These were great. I really enjoyed the marinated bean sprouts. It had really good flavor. There were also two types of sauces-Black Sauce: Sweet Garlic Soy Sauce and Orange Sauce: Korean Bean Paste Sauce. There is a piece of paper where you can check off the items you would like. Each meat order is approximately 8oz. It's all you can eat so pace yourselves. We ordered from the regular menu. We started with the Marinated Thin Beef, Prime Brisket, Chicken Bulgogi, Thin Sliced Pork Belly, Vegetables (Potato, Squash, Sweet Potato, Green Pepper, Eggplant, Onion, Carrot), Soft Tofu Stew, and Scallion Pancake. Everything came out quickly. We started to cook the meat and vegetables. Because the meat was thinly sliced, it cooked quickly. It tasted good. The tofu stew came out really hot and tofu pieces was flavorful. The scallion pancake was very crunchy and pairing it with sweet garlic soy sauce was delicious. We were really full, but lastly ordered Spicy Pork. This was really well marinated. We had no room for dessert and would have to pay extra anyways, so we skipped it. Service was great. Our server came frequently to ask if we needed anything. On the menu, it did say that the grill will be changed each round but our grill did start turning black and it was not changed. It was $37.95 per person prior to tax. Compared to NY, this Korean BBQ spot is not a bad option. Unfortunately, I do not think I got the $37.95 worth of food since we did not order too much. The table next to us was struggling to finish all the food they ordered. I heard the server tell them to not waste food next time. There are signs around that they can charge an extra $15 for each 8 oz of leftover meat and an extra $5 for each plate of a leftover side dish.

All you can eat bbq - get the beef and chicken bulgogi ‍

We were greeted immediately and provided with a number of menus... and what a menu! Lots of comfort food options ranging from apps to entrees, and a number of sandwiches and burgers. I was vacillating between the hot dogs and a couple of the chicken sandwich's and ultimately selected the Cool Ranch Ray with grilled chicken, cheddar, bacon, and Ranch dressing. It was delicious! Unfortunately, the fries left something to be desired as they were fairly dried out and a bit tough to get down. Perhaps a bit less time in the fryer could have fixed that. Dessert was a nice cap to the meal with Nutella empanadas. Yum! PB & Jealous drink... divine. Our waiter Chris was moving and grooving... never seeming to stop for a second and always finding time to check in with us. Pretty certain he was behind the bar AND waiting tables and kept up with it all. Bravo! Fun evening, great food. Will definitely be back.

RI Food Fight- Lord of the Wings 2025 Review:…read more First time ever at Wes'. I grew up hanging out with previous owners kids. The wing coupon brought me in. Off the beaten path, decent sized parking lot, inside is very modern. There were only like 2 people working on a Saturday night at 5pm. When we walked in we had to wait to be seated for 5 mins but the place was pretty empty?? Once seated, we placed an order for drinks. I went with a rum punch (it was advertised as moonshine but I asked for the liquor switch) and my husband eyes a posted $5 margarita sign. The drink was more liquor than punch. I like it the opposite way. My husband had no problems with the margarita's or the deal! The wings: we went boom boom sauce. It was a decent wing but the boom boom just didn't do it for me. It's me- not the sauce! Just not my jam. He told us it was like a Cajun ranch. I didn't find anything Cajun about it. We ordered mozzarella sticks (I don't think you can really mess up a mozzarella stick.), (2) cornbread's and 1 rib. The cornbread was ok. (With winging it, I have had a lot of cornbread around the state recently.) The rib was large! Overall this place is ok. My husband and I chatted as we pulled out: if we were in the area again we would hit it up again!

Wow! After reading so many reviews with a wide variety of ratings we didn't know what to expect,…read morebut our visit to Wes' was great. We used to frequent Wes' back in the 1990's, but hadn't been there since it reopened. We spoke with the owner today (who was also our server), and learned it recently changed hands again, so maybe the poor reviews were under the previous ownership. Our experience today was awesome as we really enjoyed the environment as well as the food. Wes's has its own parking lot, which is great since parking in Olneyville can be tough. The exterior of the building has been fixed up from the good old days, and when we went indoors, we were very impressed with how the interior has been renovated as well. New windows, new furniture, new bathrooms, and everything is spotlessly clean. Menu choices are great with fair pricing, and service was prompt with just the right amount of attentiveness. We were using our RI Food Fight sandwich coupons and were given three choices: pulled pork, fried chicken, or the All-American burger. We went with the pulled pork and the burger. Both were served on good rolls that didn't fall apart, and both were nice and big with plenty of meat. The burger had a delicious smokey taste and the pulled pork was tasty as well. We did not use any extra bbq sauce, but we did see a bottle of what looked to be house-made sauce on another table. In addition we split corn bread and sweet fried plantains and really enjoyed both sides. Wes' is still working on obtaining a liquor license (should be soon!), so we ordered sodas and were impressed by the large cups. We also checked out the arcade game area, which looked fun, and the additional seating room upstairs which includes a small stage. The new owner told us that they host karaoke and trivia, and this room looks perfect for these types of entertainment. We loved that the event space is separate from the main dining room as oftentimes it's tough to eat dinner and converse while other events are happening, and it looks like this won't be a problem at Wes'. We would like to wish the new owner lots of success - Thanks for bring Wes' back to life and we hope to return soon!

It has almost a cult-like following after reading the reviews. In my experience, everything I have ordered was okay ... but nothing incredibly amazing vs. the price. I have not seen higher menu prices outside of Manhattan. Two sandwiches and one beer came to $78 after the tip. You read that correctly ... a burger with fries, a pulled pork sandwich with side salad and the cheapest draft beer on the menu ... $78!!! The wings/tenders were over $20 ... in fact, other than the side upgrades, nothing on the menu was under $20. If you are charging $25 for a 'diner burger' and fries, it better be an amazing burger. Mine was no better than Five Guys and less tasty than a Shake Shack. Given the prices, one wouldn't expect that you'd get potato chips with your burger. In order to get French fries ... it's a $5 upcharge. A side salad is $9. I don't mind paying more for quality ... and Blackie's quality is probably high as their meats, vegetables, potatoes, etc. all list the origin place. However high the quality is, for me anyways, the food doesn't seem much different taste-wise, than anywhere else that is much less expensive. Having said that, the portions are huge. The nachos look like they are meant for an entire table and everything is served on metal cafeteria-style trays. Good for them though because the place is huge and always packed. The crowd here is very typical 'Rhode Island'. Expect to see a lot of anchor tattoos, lifted Jeeps with no doors in the parking lot, young 20 - 40 year old crowd who probably played high school football or baseball back in the day and still enjoy telling stories about it. There are no shortage of cross-fitters here. There is a nice buzz of conversation and energy ... but this is not the place you want to go if you don't like crowds. Inside is weird. The walls are painted black and the chairs/tables look like something in a boutique hotel. It looks a little more like a corporate hotel lobby or wedding function hall vs. a restaurant ... especially given the typical crowd. This is not the sports bar it appears to be on the outside. Overall, my 3-stars may seem harsh. But that's an average score ... and honestly, my food has always been average. Maybe I need to try the pizza. If you have deep pockets and like huge portions, you probably won't be disappointed in this place. The service is great, although 2 people working a packed bar, you will wait a bit if you need anything. Also, I came to watch the big game and for some reason they hung pendant lights which dangle down from around the bar. While they make everyone look better, the TVs are blocked by the lights. Very odd.
