RN here, If you're looking for a positive ACLS experience, stop right here. Our instructor, Joey, was professional, experienced, efficient and gave the class an impactful learning experience. I've heard various stories from different coworkers about their ACLS experiences from different vendors but none of them matched my experience. ACLS here is not a stressful event where you're feeling judged when you ask a question or need clarification, they truly want you to get it. Just pick up the book ahead of time so you can review your ECG rhythms and emergency meds and you'll be ACLS certified in no time, and more importantly, you'll feel confident in handling any emergency situation should one present itself. Took a CPR, BLS renewal course here. The course lasted for about three hours and you get your card certification on the same day! My instructor was Ivan and he was super informative as well as humorous. He has great teaching style making it incredibly easy to learn. Passing rates are high and I recommend taking this course here because it's so laid back. read more

Great CPR and first aide classes!

I have taken my PALS, ECG and Pharmacology, and BLS here at the Sheridan, Corona office. I have had Jose Rodriguez, Justin Denison and Tony Torres. Each instructor was awesome and they made sure to ask whether any one had any questions and if they did they answered it in a way we were able to understand and then asked whether we understood. They all had very good teaching materials and each class I took was very interactive and a good environment. As for SureFire altogether , they run a very good office there, they've had snacks and coffee in the breakroom and provided materials to those who didnt have them like scratch paper or pens. I highly reccomend this place or SureFire all together and these instructors big time! I intent to take my ACLS here as well and have no doubts whatsoever it will be great just as the previous courses have been. Not to mention it isn't just by the book teaching, each instructor has more than enough real life experience on the field to exemplify the scenarios we would see and apply them with the course read more

First time in this location for me to renew my PALS and BLS yesterday. I was anxious and dreading the day before thinking it will be really hard and such a pain again..it wasn't! This place makes certifying for ACLS and PALS pretty painless. The instructors are friendly, they don't have a problem repeating info over and over until everyone gets it. The prices are pretty average and the offer student discounts, as well as bulk specials. The classes get full fast, but they have a wait list and will call you back if there is space. Will go back next year to recert! read more

Quinn from SureFire CPR came to our home last Thursday to conduct our Pediatric First Aid, Child/Infant CPR AED, and Adult CPR AED. I have been taking CPR classes every 2 years for over 20 years now and I have to say that he was the best trainer I have. Raelene in the office was quick and efficient. I took the CPR and First Aid class with my children (twins age 13 and one age 10) at the Corona location. Brandon M, our instructor, was very professional and took the time to ensure all students had hands on training using the class adult and infant mannequins. We also role played with real life scenarios in when to use CPR for adults, children and infants. Practice using the Heimlick for choking and bandaging for first aid also was included. I took my CPR/ Basic First aid here at the Corona location, and Mitch was a fantastic instructor. All of SureFire's teachers are either firefighters, EMT's or paramedics, so that makes all of them very knowledgeable with experience in their field. Mitch was especially knowledgeable and very passionate about what he does, which made the experience all the better. Loved this place!! I had to renew my CPR class and did not know where to go in a such a short time. I was referred to this place by one of my friend. Went online found a class 10 minutes away from home. The instructor (Chris) was great and made the class fun but at the same time very informative. One of the individual was running late due to traffic so we waited few minutes before starting. I have renewed CPR previously but this was the best one out of all. Im going to definitely tell ALL of my contacts about this place. I was blessed today when I took an ACLS course with this awesome instructor Ray. Best thing ever. He is soooooo knowledgeable, helpful, patient, funny, and dynamic. Ive repeatedly told him to be a full on instructor/professor in a medical profession. Loved his down-to-earth ness and straight to the point approach. He's NOT monotone and boring and gives you time to soak it up rather than talk you to death then test you. An extraordinary and exemplary young professional. Best money spent. Ive learned for a lifetime and I'm so much better now for having gone to this place. This is a great place to get your CPR certification done. I had to get my first certification for "BLS for Health Care Providers" because I just started working in a hospital. The instructor was a paramedic who was very knowledgeable and friendly, and gave plenty of opportunities to ask questions, and shared his personal real-world experience using these techniques. The facility itself is very comfortable and they even provided some nice snacks and coffee, tea, and water (which was greatly appreciated early in the morning). Also, all of the equipment they use is in great working condition. I arrived early, so I had the pleasure of watching a few minutes of the show "Emergency!" on the television. After taking the certification test at the end, my answers were scored, and I received my certification card right there. Very convenient! I will definitely be coming back here to get re-certified. read more
