It's very disappointing to schedule a service for a recall, make arrangements to drop your vehicle to get to said service appointment and be told that they do not have the part and have known and are not sure when they will get said part. If all of this was known then why did you have me come in when you could have just called me when you have the part? I was then told that is the plan as the part is being shipped out two at a time to every dealership and that I am on a waitlist. Again, why was this not explained all prior to me scheduling and even showing up. If anything use one or the two parts you are sent on me and cancel the other one for the week ahead of their visit. read more

Late last month, Hyundai issued a safety recall, number 283/292. The paperwork states that the recall will be performed at no charge and details that failure to complete the repair can increase the risk of injury. The closest dealer is Suresky Hyundai, and although I experienced a less-than-satisfactory interaction in the past, I figured I would give them another try; they can't mess up all the time. I made an appointment and brought in the vehicle to address the safety hazard. I needed a rental, and after waiting for over an hour before (which seems excessive), I received the loaner. While waiting, I was told that I needed an alignment and was shown a photo that depicted the current state of the vehicle. I asked the price; it seemed reasonable because I honestly knew it was needed, so I agreed to the alignment. After I left Suresky Hyundai, I received another phone call. This call was to inform me about the brakes in the rear section of the vehicle. I was informed by John that the rear brakes were metal on metal and that it was not safe for me to drive in that condition. When I initially went into the shop, I had my child and my mother with me. So now, when we were talking about the brakes, John was honing in on safety. When I declined, stating I only brought in the vehicle for the safety recall and that although I was getting the alignment, I had no intentions of doing the brakes, John went on to mention that Suresky Hyundai had loan options. Now, telling me about the loan options raised a red flag because this had to be serious if he was going to these lengths to ensure that the brakes were changed. Apprehensive at first, I thought, why would someone lie about something so serious? So, I agreed to changing the brakes. Now not only did I have to pay for brakes, I had to pay for labor as well. Going in for a recall, I walked out spending close to $800.00, which leaves me feeling very uncomfortable. For one, I feel as if, since I am a woman, I was being taken advantage of because I was not as versed in vehicles, and two, because I had my child and mother, safety was emphasized even more. If you are going to this dealer for anything, please ensure you are with someone who is knowledgeable in all aspects of vehicles; otherwise, they will try to take advantage of another potential customer. If you are in the Hudson Valley, there is another dealership further in Warwick (Dodge) that provides much better services with a flair for honesty. Shortly after I sent off my email to the company Alex, General Manager at Suresky Hyundai told me that I should not longer use their location and I should take my vehicle to another location. I brought my Hyundai in for routine service under warrantee, I came with a service dog was greater in the usual manor, was given my paperwork and proceeded to go into the waiting area with my dog. Well shortly thereafter I was told that my car was there too early in mileage and if I wanted service I would have to pay for it. I checked with the mileage requirements and was actually late in performing the service. So I promptly left, I went back to my old dealer and they did the service without complaints nor expense and could not understand why the suresky group had a problem. Went in to see a palisade 2025 & 2026. The 2025 calligraphy night edition had an incentive of $6250.off msrp test drove with my brother. When I said to the salesman Jahnny that I was interested in purchasing he went to his manager and his manager said they could not sell the car because of a recall safety issue so why did you let us test drive it. Then they proceeded to try and sell me the 2026 palisades limited hybrid But numbers were way off and I wanted the 2025. Stay away go somewhere else deceptive sales. by the way no one seems to know about this issue on recall safety and there is a recall but not on all models and if it's a problem why isn't it fixed. We visited Suresky Hyundai on a Saturday afternoon, intending only to look at a couple of Tucson models I had seen on their website that weren't available near our home on the Hudson River. We planned to browse, with no intention of driving home in a new car. Within minutes of walking around the lot, we were greeted by a salesperson, Joe Alston. I'll admit, I'm not usually a fan of car salespeople, based on past experiences. With Joe, however, a relaxed mood kinda clicked right away upon introduction. Without going into every detail, the 2026 models I saw online weren't immediately available, but Joe showed us the 2025s, which were essentially the same. They weren't our preferred color, but we were able to take one for a test drive, taking turns behind the wheel. Joe excelled at making us feel comfortable and familiar with the vehicle during the test drive. When we returned, I noticed the XRT model in my wife's desired color and pointed it out. She originally preferred the other trim primarily because of the rims. Joe informed us that if we qualified, we could get the 2025 with 0% interest. My wife's response was, "For 0% interest, I can learn to love those rims!" Joe got the keys and showed us the car. Then, we checked our credit. We qualified for 0% and proceeded to the paperwork. Joe was also incredibly helpful in dealing with a rather underqualified person from our insurance company. He kept them on task while also ensuring all the important details, some of which we hadn't considered, were covered. Moving on to the finance officer, whose name I unfortunately don't recall, everything went smoothly. He clearly explained all the available add-ons without being overly pushy. After that, we went to the delivery area where another employee, whose name also escapes me, explained the vehicle's basic features. His process and thorough explanation of the features we weren't familiar with were outstanding. He was patient, answered all our questions, and ensured my wife felt completely confident driving the car off the lot. My wife has been driving the vehicle for three weeks now and loves it. We both appreciate the sleek design of the display center and how it doesn't protrude above the dashboard like in many other vehicles. She's also very pleased with her choice of the XRT trim, especially with two grandsons aged 4 and 6. The seats and interior are definitely kid-friendly and easy to clean. Brought my Hyandai Tucson in for windshield replacement. After picking up my vehicle, I noticed the heads up display was not centered and half the view was cut off. I let the technician know, he said " I can see it" I let him know he was taller than I and I couldn't see it. He preceded to say " well I can see it, theres no adjustment. I should raise the seat, etc" next the service manager Chris comes out checks the same and basically doubles down with the other rude technician. Btw, it's 90 degrees outside and they don't offer to bring the car into the AC bay, they leave me outside in the heat. While they are playing around saying I don't think there is an adjustment for this. I asked if it's on the dash if it can be adjusted "oh no, we would have to take the whole dashboard apart!" At that point I said, never mind I'll drive the car for a few days and let you know on Monday. Well today is Monday and a coworker of mine looked up HUD for Hyundai Tucson and found directions on You Tube! I went out to the car and made the simple adjustment through the settings on the dash! How does two techs and one is the service supervisor not know this! They were unprofessional, Rude and made me feel like an idiot! The quintessential definition of Gaslighting! If they don't know there is a simple setting how do I trust them to repair or do preventative maintenance on my car? Customer service person in charge also was extremely defensive and dismissive. They are the worst dealership in Orange County. My car is under warranty for some reason the front collision system stopped working. They said I hit something but I did not hit anything. There's not a mark on the bumper and not a scratch on the car, but they said I hit something so I have to pay for it. The service managers are arrogant and do not talk to you with common sense. My husband had told me he wanted to get the rain guards on his windows on the car and his one windshield wiper wasn't working this car was bought in August 24 the rain guards installed was 290.00 bucks then they charged us again to look at the wiper told us 700.00 bucks to fix then they told us we needed tire rotation and a wheel alignment cabin air filter I can buy one 10 dollars Walmart I said no all but the rain guards husband went to pick the car up they charged him 495.00dollars .209.00 just to look at the wiper mind you they didn't do anything with it because they gave us some bs that how much it would cost fix 700.00 no they didn't touch or fix it took the car to autozone the guy open the hood and fixed it one screw with a screw driver problem solved . The window guards they only put the two front ones on they come in as a twin pack where are the other two window rain guards these two they put on are just peel n stick one I know that's how come but wow 290.00 for only two is crazy I'll never go back after this .. I have a 2023 Genesis G80. My navigation system failed and my local dealer in Miami told me that I had to update it myself. I spoke to USA customer care and they told me to get it updated from Suresky when I got to NY 2 weeks later. The update failed snd my Service Advisor, Bridget, contacted Genesis and was given permission to replace the whole Head Unit which cover's navigation and radio. It works very well now. I want to give a shout out to Bridget, Kate, and Rob who showed me how to do everything I needed to know. They did GREAT!! If you happen to buy a Hyundai, do not go to this dealership for services! I made the mistake of purchasing my Palisade not knowing that I'd be stuck doing business with this particular dealership. (Sure there are further one's, but you will have to sit & wait because they don't offer shuttle services beyond a few miles so the closest location, you're stuck with) I've experienced nothing but canceled appointments in which I made directly through bluelink & not only poor customer service but poor quality of service. I made an appointment because my car was jerking. Had I known to use the proper term (the transmission is slipping) I would have gotten out of paying the diagnostic fee. I paid it and was told since I have high mileage that I need to get my throttle body serviced. Needless to say, the car never stopped jerking and shaking. I made yet another appointment for the exact issue. Yep, my appointment got rescheduled again, the day before. I finally went in for my appointment for both the transmission & my driver's seat being loose. I noticed that a nut & bold wiggled it's way out and was on the mat. $200 diagnostic fee! I was told the transmission would be covered but I needed an entire new seat! Are you kidding me? Just replace the nut and bolt!!! After all, you're charging me $200 for the diagnostic fee. That's the least you could have done! I was told by a service representative that it wouldn't do any good. Sir, you're NOT a mechanic! My car was leaking antifreeze. A mechanic pointed that out during new brakes installation. $200 diagnostic fee revealed a rock hit the Radiator & the entire thing had to be replaced whatttt? Good luck getting a loaner vehicle because although they say they offer it, even if you qualify for it, there won't be any available. At least to match your vehicle to accommodate your family size. Bottom line; if you get a Hyundai, get a ride to a better dealership for your services. Schedule them directly through that particular dealership if you can to avoid being canceled & rescheduled at their discretion. Avoid having Shawn as your service representative as he is both sarcastic, condescending and makes it very clear that he doesn't want to do anything to help you! read more

They charged me $200 dollars for a diagnosis fee on top of that I believe when it was found out that I had a bad engine that could have been the result of something they did wrong. They took my oil change receipt out of my glove department, which I always saved. Something had me feel real skeptical about this place and I had a bad feeling. I would definitely stay away from them. Do not get any work done by them at all. Suresky is a dealership that doesn't actually want to sell cars. I arrived on a Saturday morning to look at Kona EVs. I spent 20 minutes kicking the tires on the Konas. It should have been obvious I was interested in that particular model, as I examined window stickers, peered in, scoured out, yet not a single person comes by to help. Not a single person even says hello or makes eye contact. I get back home, and I get onto Hyundai's website. I request a test drive for a Kona EV Ultimate late in the afternoon. Not more than 15 minutes later, I get a call from Deena, the internet sales manager, asking to confirm the time I wanted. I told her I could get there in 20 minutes, but mentioned that I had just returned from her dealership, stared at Konas for 20 minutes, and never received as much as eye contact from anyone. I got a sheepish "Sorry about that." I arrived back at Suresky 20 minutes after the call. I see a Kona EV Limited out front, which I figured was for someone else, as I (believe I) had requested an Ultimate. Angello, a sales manager, came to assist. Turns out the Limited was for my test drive. I ask if we could swap that out for an Ultimate, which he does, but which takes extra time. After the test drive, I indicate I could be interested in a lease. Angello promises he'd send lease numbers based on various down payments and trade ins, though he couldn't give me exact numbers until I brought the car I was trading in for review. He promised me I'd have the model lease numbers either Saturday afternoon or Monday morning. Angello never sent those numbers. In anticipation of negotiations, I researched prices and the models Suresky had on its lot. It turns out, of the nine Kona EV Ultimate models Suresky has on the lot, all but ONE has been on the lot at least 100 days, and the one hasn't has been on the lot 80 days. While a complete exposition of how car dealerships operating is beyond this review, most car dealerships take out loans to purchase cars on their lot. Like other loans, dealerships pay interest on those loans. At around 60 or 90 days, inventory gets stale, and the interest they pay on those loans makes keeping the car on the lot uneconomical. Suresky has not one stale Kona Ultimate EV on the lot, but eight or nine. Nevertheless, they are OVERpricing these models, tacking on an additional $1,000 fee due to "market conditions." For stale inventory, that is just silly. I come back today to bring in my car for review. A quick note about it: I bought it from a dealership that disclosed it was returned under California's lemon laws. California has lax lemon laws, and cars can be returned for not much reason at all. My current car was returned because it allegedly pulled right. That's correctable by an alignment and, indeed, the car does not pull right. (I suspect what happened was that the person who bought the car hugged the left lane, and lane keep assist did its job, and the person who returned the car wasn't smart enough to figure that out.) Notably, I have the paperwork showing this. Angello said they wouldn't even consider it as a trade in. Why? Because, per Angello, they'd have a tough time selling it they'd have to make a call or two to get rid of it. Talk about lazy. My vehicle is the highest trim available and has about half the miles of a car of its year would suggest. (It's two years old, with 15k.) The lowest trim with twice the miles of my car WITH a return on title is selling for 50k, far more than they'd offer me for a trade in. They appear to just be lazy. So, no. Suresky has no desire to sell cars. Go somewhere else. UPDATE: Suresky responded on Google, but not here. They note that the damage is listed as severe on Carfax. Carfax lists the title as "Branded/Lemon." It does not describe the genesis of the issue. Again, Suresky failed to inquire at all. Additionally, Suresky fails to deny that they were lazy by not attempting to make calls, and fails to deny that the service BEFORE I brought in the trade in was atrocious. They're merely trying to deflect from their bad customer service. read more

Worst experience ever!!! I am a repeat customer but after this experience would never go back!! My wife and I were in last week with our daughter looking for a vehicle for her. Our salesman was Jay. Very nice and knowledgeable. Took car for a test drive. Then my daughter wanted to go back to look at the car again. Made appointment with Jay. When we arrived, we were told Jay was with another customer and he would be with us shortly. Then a different salesman gave us the key to take car for a test drive. After that the different salesman took us to his desk and clearly was not nearly as knowledgeable and gave us different information about the price and availability of the car. He couldn't even answer a simple question about the model we were interested in if it had heated seats! Then he took a phone call while we were sitting at his desk. So rude. Can I ask you why the dealership bothers making appointments with a salesman if he cannot keep the appointment???? Waste of time. The dealership nor our salesman Jay who we had the appointment with never even had the decency to call and apologize. Update. So only after posting this review, my wife received a phone call from our original salesman Jay. He stated that he was unaware he had an appointment with us even though they called that morning to confirm??? He said it was unfair to bash the dealership. Are you kidding? Whose fault is it then? Again it was only after posting this review he contacted us. He saw us in the dealership and Jay knew my daughter was just in a very bad car accident and we were shopping for a replacement vehicle for her. Absolutely disgusting how we are being treated. My daughter left the dealership extremely upset which then upset my wife and I. They take absolutely no responsibility for their mistakes. read more

Unfortunately I do not think there is a minus 10 rating for this dealership and the horrific, unprofessional, confrontational approach that is used by Suresky personnel. I have heard from multiple coworkers about this and their experience with Suresky but I purchased a car there anyway, really run the other way I promise you that if you buy a car there and it needs service you most probably will have an issue and will definitely ruin your experience as a new car buyer. I can't for the life of me figure out how they have remained in business but my guess is they ride off the back of Jeep, Chrysler and Hyundai as those products are good. People don't seem to know what one hand is doing from the other. How do they not answer the phone in service? Was transferred there and it rang and rang then it hung up on me. Called back and some guy took my number and said he would run there and have them call me back. Run there? What is this 1960? I will never buy a Hyundai be cause I have to service it here. Different vehicle delivered than originally pictured and promised. A small chip on the side of the car (unfortunately noticed after delivery was completed). The car had a letter missing from the logo on the back - was told that this would be ordered for me ASAP, - it's been a month, and still nothing. Any attempt to get in touch with a manager resulted in failure. Was asked to leave a name and phone number, never got a call back. It's been a month and my temp license plate is expired, - no update as to when I'll have the permanent plates. Can't drive my car with confidence of not being pulled over for expired temp license plate. No answers. Avoid this place. Update: Finally got manager Michel to call me back. When I asked to be provided with the address of the DMV my information was sent to for processing as I wanted to take matters into my own hands and contact the DMV myself, he said he will give me a call back. Over a month ago my grandson took his 2013 Hyundai because the break lights were not working and the wiring in the trunk caught on fire. It's now been over a month and countless calls have been made and the service reps never answer phone when he's calling from his phone. During visits to inquire as to when the repair could be done... he was told to tell the police when he's stopped that the shop is waiting for the part. in addition he's very frustrated about the non-response and the inept rudeness of the service advisor "Kate" as well as someone named John or Joe. After several attempts to get answers he finally gave them a piece of his mind. This week I also called and was told initially that Kate was not available. The initial call was at 9:00 in morning and by 2:00 no one had returned my call. Soooo I called again and asked for a manager and the email address because once again they were trying to say Kate was not available. Mind you the set-up in the office service desk they are all sitting next to each other. After threatening to file a complaint I was finally transferred to Kate who was dismissibe, condescending and very rude. She eventually decided to tell me that I can call or check Hyundai corporate about the back order. I am done and will find out who the service manager is and the owner and make them aware of how customers are treated. It is unacceptable and I am going to blast them on every platform. read more

Brought my 2018 Jeep in for an oil change and tire rotation, then get a call that my car is ready to be picked up, that the brakes have been changed, air filter had been replaced, tired had been aligned and all that jazz. I went in for a simple oil change and tire alignment and ended up getting charged for $1300 for maintenance that I had not asked for, then written on the receipt, was "Customer stated to change brake pads". Horrible. They just lost a family of customers that they have had for almost 40 years. Never going back. UPDATE: Manger refunded the unauthorized brake job. I purchased a 2017 Tucson from this dealership back in October on 2020 gave them a great review then and after my first service appointment. At my second service appointment I was informed that the vehicle needed brakes and rotors both front and rear after less then 10k miles after purchase. I was very surprised, when I questioned the service adviser he did some checking and told me that when the vehicle was certified it had 6mm left on the brakes which was the minimum they could have to certify a vehicle. He directed me to a sales manager during my discussion with the manager who was rude and very condescending and started talking about state minimums for inspection.... need less to say I got no where. I was shuttled back to the dealership by a very nice guy and he suggested I go back in and talk with a sales manager again . I did got the same guy and before the conversation even started I knew by the body language nothing would change. He was even more rude in person. If you want a vehicle that is a minimum I suggest you buy from them.... but buyer beware.... I will day that their service has been great but I just cant go back and spend my hard earned money on a place that doesn't value their customers Good luck to them if I could give zero stars I would read more
