Horrible for a 2 day stay. When we checked into our room, there was urine stains on the toilet, a broken couch chair, the floor was sticky, and the toilet paper placement in the bathroom was very inconvenient. 2-ply roll, falls apart as you wipe. There were an abnormal amount of spiders crawling on the walls, and the beds were infested with bed bugs. Besides all of that, on the 2nd night our toilet clogged after flushing a singular piece of toilet paper. and the AC started pumping out a really unpleasant smell. 1 star for a "mid"-at-best hotel. This takes the cake for worst place I've ever stayed. As a Platinum member with Best Western I stay at a fair amount of hotels including South Dakota, Montana, Idaho, Washington and Oregon the last month and this one takes the cake easily as the worst. Their sure stay guarantee they display at the front desk is a joke, where they say if something goes wrong on your stay they will make SURE to fix it. That's no more hope, rather than a promise or guarantee. The room next to me left two dogs alone for nearly 2 hrs from 9-11pm. After 20 mins of constant barking I broke down and called the front desk. They said they would try to contact the owner. 20 mins later still barking, and people now on room above me has kids and dogs running around like a zoo. All the noise they are making is now causing the dogs to bark even more. I go out to make personal contact with the front desk about the situation... She says "I dont hear them barking now and was unable to contact the owner, she must have left them in there. I'll try again." I say the people above me are running around like crazy and they are really setting the dogs off. "They have kids above you for sure, they usually stop at 10:30 untill then I cant do anything." Sounds like the kids live there? So I went back to my room since they had no solution. Bark bark, stomp stomp stomp. Wife woke up at 11, 12 am, 6 am as noise continues throughout the night. Confronted the new morning front desk lady about the situation as I had another night in this room around 9 am. This lady showed me a map and said there isn't even a room 244 so there is no way kids are stomping above me. This after the night lady at the front showed me a map clearly highlighted with room 244 above me and making it sound like there have been kids in that room for quite awhile "usually they quiet by 10:30" she said. But this one says nobody is above me. She even showed me a new map saying 247 was the closest one to me with no room 244 in existence. I went up to confirm there was indeed a room 244 above me. Really strange stuff going on here. I would not be shocked if that was a workers room above me the way it was handled and from what I saw. Just a terrible stay. The entire hotel exterior is in need of a paint job, the rooms were pretty clean ill give them that. But would never recommend or stay here again. Definitely should be ashamed to be a "Best Western" family member. Apparently the two police that were at the SureStay taking care of something when I was checking in should have been my first warning to try to get out of staying at this place. The room smelled musty, the curtains stained, no black out, the sheets are so thin you can read the tag on the mattress. The bathroom is about 20 years outdated. Toilet barely flushed, the toilet seat was cracked and peeling. I had a 5 night reservation and after 2 nights, I left. aside from someone trying to break into my window and bent the screen. The room door didnt go to the floor, so you could hear everything along with light coming in. The side door on building is not secure after dark. The bed is beyond used. The pillows, with 5 still dont equal 1 normal pillow. The lights in the room are exam room white and in awkward positions. For $20 more a night you can stay at a nicer hotel. Booked using points. Within about 20 minutes of arrival my card declined $64 and changed twice. There weren't supposed to be any charges as it was done through points. I chose this hotel specifically because they have an indoor pool. My 3 boys and I show up on Saturday 27th and check in. Finding out the pool's heater is broken so it's cold. Ok, not a huge deal. The staff at the counter was nice. The room was good, no issues. HOWEVER... Went to the lobby Sunday morning for breakfast. No good cereal. Only waffle batter to make waffles. Then I see a lady come out to put french toast in the display... so I'm waiting with my kids... this disgusting person , with NO gloves... grabs and places french toast in the display, with her BARE hands!!! I was traveling home from Montana with a Jeep full of stuff as I had just spent a week at a friends house in Helena. I wanted a place that was not in town, to minimize the amount of tweakers that might roam through a given parking lot in the middle of the night. I found this location and decided to give it a go. It was reasonably priced, and the Flying J across the street made me think that there was enough activity to keep any criminal activity to a minimum. Overall, it was a good location. When I got into my room, the bathroom sink had some "deposits" in it and did not look like it had been cleaned, and you could see the outline of a bar of soap on the bottom of the tub. It was the only clean spot in a slight tinge of the darker area taking up the majority of the bottom of the tub's surface. The rest of the place was clean, and the bed was comfy. The TV worked fine and the fridge kept my water cold. The walls are paper thin and I heard every time someone closed their door up and down the hall. More on that later. My biggest issue was when I was sound asleep at 8:10am and someone opened my door!! NOT COOL!! I woke up and said "HELLO!?!?" and the door instantly shut. Long story short, it was the housekeeper that was mistakenly directed to clean my room because someone had put the empty paper sleeve with my room number on it (NOT MY sleeve, I still had it) in the quick check-out box on the front desk counter. My only rationale for this is that someone found the empty sleeve from a previous stay on the floor somewhere and decided to put it in the box rather than throw it away. There was no room key/card in the sleeve, it was really just trash, but since it was in the box marked for people to check out the staff assumed I had left. I can understand that the front desk person would think that I had checked out, but here is the deal: HOUSEKEEPING NEEDS TO KNOCK AND ANNOUNCE THEMSELVES EVERY TIME THEY OPEN A DOOR TO A ROOM THAT HAS BEEN OCCUPIED!!! As I mentioned, the walls are very thin and you could hear the activity in the hallway when the TV was not on. I stayed right up until checkout time and not once did I ever hear a knock on any of the doors or any announcement of "HOUSEKEEPING" that entire morning, and I find that very disturbing after being very surprised by them earlier that morning. I certainly hope that management took notice of my complaints. In that landscape and demographic of gun owners, I hope nobody gets shot by practicing this carelessness. Good place to stay for night's sleep, though not necessarily the most family friendly part of town. Reasonable prices, rooms are on the small side and equipped with basic amenities (minimalist coffee maker, small microwave, tiny fridge). They have a small indoor pool. When we pulled in, we did witness a pretty sketchy looking scene involving a (presumed) hotel customer and a barefooted woman leaving the hotel, parting ways and her walking back across the street to the truck stop... The front desk person was very friendly and checkin was smooth. She also made some recommendations for local food and attractions that were very helpful. They had one of the better breakfasts we've had at a hotel. They offered a full variety of breakfast goodies to choose from. I was most impressed with the scrambled eggs. This was a very reasonable place to stay just before the WA border in I-90. It's conveniently located right off of the highway and has a Flying J right across the street. Trucks are coming and going throughout the night, but the layout is such that they're just idling along and not making much noise. The hotel rooms are spacious and clean, although the decor isn't particularly inspring. There's an indoor pool just off the lobby, and a pool table in a corner of the lobby. Finally, there is a hot continental breakfast in the morning that is about a step below a Holiday Inn Express... nothing to right home about, but it gets the job done. read more

Well, we've just arrived, but I'll leave my review now. Teenagers and loud barking dogs running all around the lobby and up and down the 1-4 floors at ELEVEN PM. Out keys did not work, so with tired kids at 11 PM, we had to wait for that to be resolved. Then Immediately upon entering our room, we noticed the electrical outlets did not have covers on them, they were just exposed, which is not OK for a family with a curious toddler. Moved the arm chair to put a pack n play where it was, noticed there were crumbs and it looked like it had not been swept for weeks. Husband got some tissues to wipe it up and they were completely black with a thick layer of dust after wiping up the crumbs. And the shower curtain looks as though it has never been washed. Would not recommend staying here, especially if you have children. Not worth the price. $223 for this piece of junk room. Ridiculous. They will be hearing about this in the morning and I will edit with the solution that they offer. read more

They were closed because anyone in the parking lot could look straight into the room. I noted this was the case for all rooms, all had the dark curtains pulled. My wife and I are road-tripping from Texas and were happy to find such a nice hotel at a great price. The night before, we stayed at a Motel 6 for $10 cheaper. It was beyond terrible. Thank you, Silver Stone, for offering great amenities at a reasonable price. We did our laundry here, only cost us $2.25 for a wash AND dry on one large load. We had our own detergent, but if you don't, they sell it at the front desk. Washer and dryer both held a good amount of clothing and our clothes came out very clean. We played the two arcade games in the hallway while we waited. Nice touch for bored adults and all kiddies. We wish we had brought bathing suits because the indoor pool and hot tub looked very inviting. They also have a nice pool table! We were greeted by a kind man who checked us in and told us if we needed anything at all, give him a ring. Good customer service is hard to find nowadays, so we appreciated that. He even upgraded us to a king sized bed with more room. The hot breakfast is great, with healthy choices available. Please tip the nice person who keeps it all fresh! She was constantly running about, ensuring everything was full, and all tables were clean. I was quite impressed. Our room was spacious and comfortable with a flat screen television, and even included a tall mini fridge and microwave. The small desk was also appreciated so we could sit comfortably with our laptop and plan the rest of our trip. The bedding linens are very pretty, much nicer than other inexpensive hotels. My wife was thrilled to find a hair dryer in the room, as she forgot hers at home and the other value hotels we have been staying at did not have any. Most have not had coffee makers, either. I was glad to find a small coffee maker in our room here. Lastly, the air conditioner/heater in the rooms work VERY well. My only complaint was the bed. It was very hard, much too firm for my liking. However, some folks may like this. Personally, I sleep on a 5-inch memory foam topper at home, so I'm not going to leave a poor rating because I am otherwise spoiled. The pillows were good, and plentiful, which helped. I thought about asking for a room with a softer bed, as I know the hotel staff are the kind of people who will do anything to make their guests comfortable, but I was too lazy/tired after driving 300 miles. Still, for the price and amazing service we received, I have to give this hotel a full 5 stars. They truly care about their guests and I feel I got much, much more than I paid for. read more

The photos of the hotel on Expedia look decent, but when we got there, the hotel had a strong smell inside like old cigarette smoke and masking fragrance. In our room, our air conditioner was broken and wouldn't work, the counter around the sink was badly cracked, the carpet had sticky spots on it, the bed covering had stains, the towels smelled, the sink faucet wouldn't stop dripping, and the toilet was set up very crooked and it moved when you sat on it. The corners of the bathroom were also dirty. We got in late otherwise we would have immediately found a different hotel. We ended up staying one night and found a new hotel the next morning. We had intended on staying 3-4 nights but didn't want to stay any longer than we absolutely had to. The hotel was right behind a truck stop, too, so we didn't feel very safe as a small group of women traveling alone. read more

ZERO STARS. DO NOT RECOMMEND. Our hotel room door didn't shut properly. Clear signs of the door being previously kicked in and terribly "repaired." The deadbolt takes some work to close from the inside. You can see into the room from the hallway with light and noise coming right in. I should've known something was wrong when we checked in and were told that the handle to this room "pulls up, not down." The door doesn't properly shut. We went to the front desk to talk to someone about this. He said he'd speak with a manager and call us in a few minutes. He called our room and advised that he could only move us to a room with two Queen beds. We asked to be moved to a similar room and this is the last one of this room type. The front desk person hung up on me after he was repeating himself over and over. He was awful. No compassion. No empathy. No understanding. His name was Joe. We've pleaded with him our concerns. We went to the front desk. Joe had a phone in hand and was threatening to call police and have us leave!!! All because we want to feel safe with our children! He called the manager who was going to move us to two rooms with two queen beds and then move us back to this room after it was repaired. Joe was originally not willing to offer us that second room as I explained one room with two Queen beds would not fit our family of five. Once we went back upstairs, we tugged and pulled on the door until the deadbolt finally worked. We returned the keys to the front desk for the other two rooms. Later that night when we opened the sofa bed, it was broken. We went to the desk and showed him pictures of the broken sofa bed and the sheet that was on the bed with potato chips all over it. He explained that if we stayed in the existing room for that night, they could then move us to a similar room the next day for the remainder of our stay. No one would touch our things and we could move them when we return that afternoon. I stopped at the front desk the next morning to confirm what we were told and that our things wouldn't be touched and also to again tell them about the door, sofa bed and the dirty sheet. A women behind the desk said that they don't put sheets on the sofa beds but that whoever cleaned the room last must've put a clean sheet on the bed BUT they must've been eating potato chips while she was working. This is not taking ANY ACCOUNTABILITY! The next day we moved to the room above ours. This room did not have a working bathroom fan and was extremely dusty and dirty. I thought that with all of the issues we had, the manager would want to talk with us and try and make things right. Check in with us. Nope. She never did. This is unacceptable. read more

Stayed here as we are checking out the area to move here. Here are my likes- GREAT breakfast! (Breakfast burritos and fresh oatmeal to name a few) Everyone is so friendly. The maid came in and visited with me, gave me extra towels and cups and asked many times if I needed anything. All the front desk staff have been helpful and friendly. The beds are comfy and the rooms have everything you need like a fridge/micro and good selection on TV. The price was FANTASTIC! My only complaint is the walls are VERY thin. At 3 am I heard every word my neighbors said. I believe the motel is older so this might explain that. Other than that, this has been well worth the price. If you are on a budget, and are looking for a nice home-base while visiting come check them out. read more

The pictures provided on the looks of hotel and rooms are misleading. Our room was old and looked like it had not been renovated since 1990. The price we paid was for military rate, and I'd hate to see what it was for a normal rate. Best western should be ashamed of themselves for allowing a service member and family, or anyone for that matter to stay in such filth. The beds were old, stained and uncomfortable as well as pillows. The sheets were old and nubby. Didn't fit on bed properly. The water in the shower never got warm. The bathroom and shower were dirty. The carpet was old and nasty. The elevator and facility (laundry room, breakfast area) was dirty. A pizza box sat in the laundry room for two days before it was thrown away. Looked like it hasn't been cleaned in months. The elevator had vomit in it from the night before, had to ask front desk to clean it. Also, every crevice was filled with old furniture. The breakfast bar was a joke, and had to ask for more oj because the machine hadn't been serviced. Also, tickets to the races weren't being provided like the website had said. The front desk people were lazy and unfriendly. Their attire was bleached shirt and black leggings. We had to ask for towels and extra tp. About the only nice thing I can say is the ac ran cold and the room seemed quiet once I turned the tv on to drown out the noise. I try to always stay at Beatern Western or Best Western owned properties. I'm so very disappointed. read more

Worst Hotel EVER! We stayed in this hotel for a soccer tournament and would have left immediately if the rest of the team wasn't there too. Came in on a Friday afternoon and the room smelled. The sink had mud, grit and hair in it. I was grossed out but cleaned it up. We then jumped in the pool and my girls started picking rusty staples and nails off the floor of the pool. It gets worse. We get back to the room and the sink is leaking across the floor. My girls left their suits on the floor over night on a towel but the toilet was leaking too and their swimsuits were covered in toilet water. In the morning we went to breakfast that was definitely left in the microwave too long. I went to the desk to talk with a manager and there wasn't one. I was given a new room and we immediately moved rooms two doors down. I was told the manager would call me to discuss our terrible stay. Surprise she didn't call me. I called several times over the last month and still have not received a call. They were under construction but that wasn't mentioned at booking and the hotel is located in a sketchy area. If I could give it less than a 1 rating I would have. read more

What a surprise! We weren't thinking that this was going to be a great place to stay based on the inexpensive pricing, but we were wrong. This is not something that rivals a Ritz Carlton, but let's face it -- you only see the inside of your eyelids when you sleep, no matter how much the accommodations cost. Dad and I found the rooms and beds to be comfortable. The free breakfast was the best we've had at a place like this with hot items, cold items, cereal, fruit and beverages. There was even a larger than usual selection of condiments including picante sauce and whipped cream. There's an indoor pool and hot tub. There's also a pool table, video games and even a lending library if you don't want to get wet. It is not fancy by any means. I would never stay at this location ever again. The hotel itself is good but the staff either are not trained or just don't know what they are doing. I was double charged due to someone on their end not knowing how to extend someone's stay. They were not at all communicative about the process and what they said would happen wasn't even the case. They were not at all apologetic for the mix up. The gal I believe her name is Corrine that I dealt with several times did not have good customer service and would repeatedly say "I don't know how to do this" "I'm new here so I don't know how to do that". Super comforting knowing their staff absolutely does not know what is going on. There was numerous times I would walk by the front desk in the evenings and the gal was just sitting there on her cellphone. Just not professional. If there are problems arise and you need to talk to whoever the manager is apparently they are out of town or they live in a place where they don't have cellphone signal. Booked for 5 nights (prepaid) and only stayed for 2. We had a dog with us that the hotel was aware of. I was told upon check in that the dog was $75 but later found we were charged over $200. After calling that day, I was informed by Josh that there was nothing that could be done until the manager (Amanda) came in on Tuesday. I called back Tuesday at 11am, Josh again answered and explained that Amanda was "somewhere" but not her office so I could leave a message and she'd call back...called again at 3:30 and she had left for the day. I called Wednesday morning at 8am sharp (as that's when I was told Amanda got in) and she was not there. Josh laughed as he said he didn't know when she'd be in and I'd have to call AGAIN...when I finally got ahold of Amanda, she told me that she and Josh had ALREADY refunded $75 so she wasn't sure what else I wanted her to do for me. The one star is totally on their RECEPTION staff. Their $75 mistake cost my husband and I over $500 because it caused our rent check to bounce and that's totally not their problem but I was made to feel like an inconvenience every step of the way and THAT is. read more

Frist they never informed  me that i could not pay cash on a "check in" but a big FYI in the online reservation application  it clearly stated i can pay with cash upon my arrival then they attempted to charge my credit card 18 time in one hr my bank  called to verify  that it was not me nor did they have my promisson  to run my card at all since all it was there for was to hold the room. NO TRANSACTION WILL BE MADE TO YOUR CARD WAS WHAT I READ by this point  they  had told me they refused to take my cash for my 9 hrs of reserved  room  and i drove 80 miles with 2 children 2&3 yrs old they would not even allow  for my grandmother  to call with her credit card  i was also very upset with the rude front desk women . And to top it off i decided to  fill out one more reservation just to check the hole cash on "check  in " the room was listed for double i got it at 7am for 60$ by 5 pm it was listed 112 $ just felt very dishonest and to be that way when the kids and I were so excited about the pool and the walks and the reason why we went down. We were supposed to meet a real estate agent to look at homes the next day .. i will be turning them in bbb that was the suggestion from my bank.... very upset read more

Probably the worst hotel in the area. It has the worlds slowest wifi and is right next to a noisy busy truck stop. The floors and walls are paper thin, probably because it was cheaply built 50 years ago. The pool is disgusting and should not be used for human swimming. And the cleaning staff not only do a terrible job, they won't clean your room if you happen to be in it when they come by. Even if you leave right away, they will refuse to clean it. Found dirty socks by the bed and other stuff in the bathroom from the last people in the room. Run away from this place and book something down the road!!! read more

Was told we would receive our deposit back by mail even though we paid cash....finally manager gave cash back....we checked out a day earlier than we paid for.....told check would come in a few days. After a week and no check we called and they said they forgot to send it. The pool was fine. Hot tub out of service whole time. Walls paper thin! You can hear loud neighbors partying all night and staff does nothing. Breakfast was put away 20 min before it should have been so that was not fun. After booking a three day stay at another hotel in Post Falls and finding out that it was so bad we wouldn't stay there, we contacted Silverstone Inn and were able to get in on the spur of the moment. This hotel was really nice. It was super clean. Our room was quiet and that is saying alot because there were a bunch of kids at the hotel while we were there. The staff was very accommodating. A real big thanks to Josh who was able to find a room for us and save our trip to Silverwood. Speaking of Silverwood, I think this must be one of the closest hotels to the park. It is highway all the way to the theme park and only took about 20 minutes to get there. We had a beautiful view of the valley out our window but I think other rooms only got views of the truck stop. That could be a bummer but we were not in town for the views so it was a plus for us. I must add that the included breakfast was pretty good. The only thing that was disappointing was milk was only available for the cereal and the cereal choice was a little limited. I felt the price at $113 per night was fair and it was $41 cheaper than where we had been booked and that place was a dump! read more

I would not book to stay here again. The best part was the options for breakfast, otherwise not so great. The mattress was SO hard with really thin pillows (my shoulders are so sore), the walls are really thin and we kept waking up to other people's noises, and even though there seems to be a fan in the bathroom, there is no switch for it. The staff was friendly and check in/out was simple, but the stay itself wasn't great. I would have rather payed more to stay closer to Silverwood theme park. read more

We stayed here in august with our golden retriever. The bed was very uncomfortable and the floor slanted down toward the outside wall!!! The continental breakfast was good. Great area to potty the dog however we would probably not stay here again. read more

Not a bad place to stay, has a pool (Chlorine) rooms come with a free breakfast, breakfast was not bad but I had some of the milk and powdered milk, yuck, at the prices of the rooms they should have real milk, is across the street from a truck stop as a commercial driver I got my room for less than $80 for a room priced at $119, rooms are nice, beds are nice, shower didn't have much pressure at all and the towels are probably the cheapest hotel towels on the market, has cable TV not a bad selection, and free wifi, wifi is slow I gave up on it and switched to my phones Internet, so 3 stars from me read more

Doesn't look like much outside, but very nice inside with many things to do.....$200 was steep for a king suite with full sofa bed, fridge, micro, large shower. Still slept well. read more
