My husband prefers this hotel over the Staybridge. I Prefer the Staybridge so I will list his Pros vs My Cons Pro: the pool is open 24/7 ( you get back from a late dinner or a late movie and you can head to the pool) pro: it looks " fancier " Pro: the gym is bigger Pro: less kids CONS: it is very dark in the room. I don't have the best eye sight so lighting for me is everything. Con: It is always super dusty and the bathroom floor the last two times have been sticky. Like when someone goes super crazy with the hair spray sticky. I was on my hands and knees cleaning the floor because my shoes were sticking to it. Con: the room is very small ( even the upgraded room) when you have dogs and a kid. You feel like you are piled on top of eachother. Final Con: I prefer a seperate sink and mirror area for getting ready. It is a huge time saver to get out the door. All in all this hotel is nice. It just depends on your wants and needs for your stay. This is perfect for a romantic getaway or a business stay. For more of a family and pet thing.... I wouldn't pick this hotel.

I was on a business trip to Sandpoint and decided to stay in Coeur d" Alene instead of Sandpoint. In addition, I prefer staying at chain hotels where I can earn point. This location was great for location and amenities. Friendly staff. This is not a resort hotel, but it's close to other resort hotels and still has a nice breakfast, fitness center, business center and pool. It was also within walking distance of good restaurants and downtown if you don't mind a longer walk. Nice breakfast in the morning (as shown by my pic). Bed was comfortable. Internet was good. I would pick this hotel again if I were traveling for business.

Fantastic hotel in a great location in Coeur d'Alene, with the Spokane River on one side and a really nice shopping center with various restaurants on the other. Stayed 6 nights in a room on the top floor with its own private balcony and a nice view. Comfortable bed and quiet room. The hotel is in a safe and quiet area with walking trails and a beautiful park just a short distance away. Actually the whole city of Coeur d'Alene seemed very safe. Guest service at the hotel was on point, and the daily complimentary breakfast was great - each day they had different food items available. Highly recommend this hotel!

Had a quick overnight stay here this last Sunday. Beautiful room, nice to sit on the balcony and look over a bit of the city and the river. Not a great view but enough. No issues about the room or the checkin. One thing of note: Don't use the 800 number to book your reservation. Get the local number - (208) 769-7900 - and do it directly. The 800 people steered me way off course for the room and what I asked for. Fortunately, Debbie at the front desk contacted me and got me situated. Thanks!

    Broken plumbing.

I have been a long time Hilton Honors member, and this location is not beholden to the Hilton standard. The exercise equipment is falling into disrepair as can be seen with the broken seat adjustment on the Peloton bike. The shower plumbing in my room needs to be addressed as well with the tub faucet pulled away from the wall. They are surely going to have moisture in the wall with probable mold and water damage issues below.

The view from our balcony - 5th floor. Beautiful skies.

This hotel has a lot of black mold. Very toxic. Do not stay here of you value your health.

Our stay was 4 nights and we booked several experiences for our time there. The first was a 90 minute massage. The massage room overlooks the marina and is beautiful. The massage itself was just okay. He asked the area he should concentrate and actually that area felt the least attended to. However, it was still very relaxing. My friend and I also booked "Hot winter night" at the infinity pool. This was so much fun as they have an adult hour and lucky for us the center above the pool was hosting prom. Yep- we got our dancing queen on. Might have annoyed the cute couples around us, but a girl's gotta dance! We also booked the "Floating in Frequency" on that Sunday morning. It was a small class and we drifted comfortably around the pool to the sound bowls. Highly recommend! Food is great at the resort and Beverly's "Lakeview Menu" is a great deal. Available until 5:30 each day, you get a 3 course meal for $29.99 with an optional wine pairing for $24.95. We had a window view and got to know the local geese (guarding their nests along the edge) June 2026- Had another friend in town and of course wanted her to experience this resort. We stayed 4 nights in Lake Tower and this time had a west facing view which had beautiful sunsets. The outdoor pool had opened, but we only visited once as it was windy and cold. Instead, we booked a "Girl's escape package" This included massages for both, lunch, and a pedicure. We had a great time. July 4th weekend 2026- This was a last minute book for us, and if we planned ahead would have gone for Lake Tower. However, we were pleasantly surprised at our view of the fireworks from the Park Tower Marina room (stay was 3 nights). This was probably the best for us since we had our dog Luna. It didn't have a balcony, so better for her not to hear the load booms. We spent a day at the infinity pool (rented a beach cabana) and ate dinner early. Then spent the time in the room waiting away for the crowds. The show was amazing and I've never been so close to fireworks with such an amazing view. We had an amazing time!

Everything went smoothly until the morning, when we left him in the room briefly to have breakfast. Since it was our first experience, we did not know he would react by barking continuously. About ten minutes later, the front desk attendant, Joe, came into the breakfast room to inform us that other guests had complained about the noise. I immediately left to return to the room and calm Jasper. I apologized for the situation and fully understand how disruptive barking can be. I would also be bothered if I were on the other side of the situation. My concern is not about the complaint itself, but about how the situation was handled. The attendant asked for our room number and then announced the issue loudly in front of all the guests who were having breakfast. She stated that she had received complaints, that we needed to go to the room immediately, and that the incident would be added to our record. This left us feeling embarrassed, as if we were repeat offenders, even though we stayed only one night and this was our very first hotel experience with a pet. While I sincerely apologize again for the inconvenience caused by Jasper's barking, I kindly ask that your staff be encouraged to handle sensitive situations with more discretion and care. A more private approach would have avoided unnecessary embarrassment.
