Poor service. Waitress is really standoffish. Didn't bring us water. We had to go to the bartender to ask a second time. The beet salad was paltry and a let down. Not impressed

We've been bringing tour groups here for both breakfast and a lobster bake dinner for years and the attentive staff always deliver an excellent experience. Plus, there is no topping the views of the Atlantic Ocean! We appreciate all that The Anchorage Sales Coordinator Mary Jordan does to make each visit so special. This past Fall (2023) our final meal was delivered Danielle, Nile and Carolyn, and the lobster was perfectly steamed by chef Nick. Many thanks for helping us end our Fall tours with such a positive experience!

Here for lunch - beautiful day outdoor seating and a lovely server. Veggie wrap was very good as was the chicken quesadilla. 4 stars. I ordered the turkey but wrap base on the menu description ROASTED TURKEY BLT WRAP Slow roasted hand pulled turkey with Jack cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomatoes & bacon with garlic mayonnaise Sandwich was 3 stars as the Turkey was ordinary deli meat They need to update the menu description as I would have def ordered something else.

I got breakfast here two days in a row, while here for a wedding staying at this hotel. I ordered the same dish both times and it was alright. The menu was limited to my GF restriction so I just got the eggs, bacon, and potatoes and they were alright. Great prices though!

We picked this restaurant because it has a beautiful view of the water from marginal way and we wanted to celebrate our friend's birthday with a water view. They do not seat parties of 6 with a water view, they will sit you on the hotel poolside. We did have a really wonderful meal here. I have celiac and need to eat gluten free and there were good options on the menu for me. I got the almond crusted salmon.

Mainly went here after walking on the marginal way and noticing what a great view this place had. I figured the food wouldn't great considering it was a reasonably priced oceanfront restaurant, but I was pleasantly surprised! We went on a Wednesday afternoon around 4 - we did not have reservations (which are recommended) and were seated right away at a very nice oceanfront table. The waiter was great, we were not rushed at all and felt like we could sit and hang out for as long as we wanted. The drinks were good, and reasonably priced for an oceanfront restaurant. Mixed drinks were $10-12 each. Food was delicious. Both of us ordered the haddock sandwich ($13) and it had a huge piece of fried haddock that tasted so fresh. The fries were my favorite kind of fries. Definitely will go back if I'm in the area again, loved this place!!!

Beautiful views. Good food. Friendly staff. Just please, no ice in a mimosa.

$17 chicken sandwich. This went in the garbage right after the pic was taken.

The food, service, and ambiance were all poor. This place is definitely making its money off the views alone.

They allow you to eat with your dog as long as you're on their outside patio. We ordered the: breakfast burrito, the crab saratoga, and the morning blt. I couldn't decided between the crab saratoga or the maple walnut French toast. Our server said I could substitute the toast that comes with the crab saratoga with a half order of the French toast so I was able to try both. My favorite was the morning blt it was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend that sandwich. The maple French toast was my second favorite. The crab saratoga I ordered based off all the other reviews but it was just ok to me. Not bad but wouldn't order again. Service could've been a bit better; our server was nice but she barely checked on us, took a long time to take our order, and we had to ask for everything (more water, napkins, plates etc) but to be fair it was busy. They even gave our dog a piece of bacon just because he was a good boy.

First things first - parking is super easy, it's a free valet service (not obvious at first, as there is parking behind the restaurant, but you're greeted right away when you pull in). We walked through the bar area, over to the restaurant area (surprisingly the bar was quite full), and were able to choose a table by one of the two fireplaces. On the restaurant side, it feels very cozy, and homey, exactly where you want to spend a cold night, inside eating dinner. Our server was lovely, greeted us right away and provided menus. I started with a cosmo (they had flavored versions like strawberry, but I elected to go for the classic). For an appetizer, we started with the bacon wrapped scallops - the bacon was maple glazed, and wonderfully crispy, with the scallops cooked perfectly, and some micro-greens scattered on the plate - delicious. For entrees, my mom had the baked seafood stuffed haddock which came with a lobster sherry cream sauce, a massive pile of perfectly cooked green beans, and mashed potatoes (yum). I went with the duck special, which was absolutely delightful. It came with Brussels sprouts, and I subbed out the au gratin (I very strongly dislike sweet potatoes), for mashed potatoes. It was delicious. We were so full, we opted for dessert to go (chocolate cake), which was generously portioned, and decadently delicious. We really enjoyed the meal - this was a wonderful dinner to celebrate my mom's 80th birthday!

Like, I'd probably go out of my way just to come back. It is a super unassuming spot behind the building of a gift/craft store and ice cream shop. There is a bar seating and patio. It was not too crowded at 3ish in the afternoon on a Monday; we were greeted warmly and told to choose a table. They didn't have a high chair but they had booster seats. I got a glass of brut rosé and my husband got the Pilsner on draft. Both were refreshing and delicious! I got a half dozen oysters (followed by another half dozen afterward) of the fresh oysters of the day, and also learnt this place is on the Maine Oyster Trail. For good reason too--they were probably some of the best oysters I've ever had. Shucked perfectly, with delicious cocktail sauce, horseradish, lemon and mignonette. So good I had to get more. I had a burger for my main, with a gluten free bun and no cheese for dairy free. They also have gluten free fries that are made in a separate frier, bless! My husband got the lobster roll, cold style and said it was absolutely delicious--his first lobster roll and everything he hoped it would be. On top of the food and drinks being great, our server was an absolute gem. So kind, so helpful, he went above and beyond to take care of us and ensure my food was allergen safe. He even went out of his way to get milk for our toddler in a fun kids cup. I truly hope to make it back some day soon!

So I looked them up and saw the adult happy meal on the menu and knew I had to try them. An hour and half drive was 100000% worth it!!! The entire building is small but feels very inviting and comfortable. The atmosphere is iconic with out of this world 90s cartoons painted on the walls. Even the bathroom had a touch of this nostalgia and whimsy (trust me look in the bathroom mirror for an amazing little touch). The staff were equally amazing and truly wonderful. I am currently pregnant and being very careful about what I eat so my husband asked the bartender/waiter if the feta is pasteurized. Most people would have simply said I don't know and moved on but this fellow went and asked the kitchen if the feta is pasteurized (it is). It's little things like that that make us want to go back. Now on to the star the food and drink! We had the soft pretzel which comes with beer cheese and stone ground honey mustard and the fried feta. The pretzel was great and the beer cheese was also great but the feta was indescribable. Every aspect of the feta was perfect and a true umami experience. I got the adult happy meal (a smash burger, chicken nuggets, and fries). It also comes with a toy which is just cherry on top status. The burger was fantastic BUT the fries and nuggets were crazy good. My husband got Flo's Double Burger and he had eaten half of it before I got mine out of the box. He would have eaten two of them if he wasn't so full! He also got the I gotta say... today was a good day sour ale. He loved it and enjoyed it enough we left with a four pack!
