FYI, it does get busy and parking isn't plentiful, but be patient, someone will be leaving and they don't take reservations, so have patience if it's a long wait. We were told 45 minutes and less than 15, we were being seated. The fire pit out front is so awesome, warming and relaxing to sit around. They do have a bar to sit at if you like. We've never been treated more poorly by an establishment in our lives on July 4th after waiting almost an hour to be seated a few members of our party were at the bar. One member changed his mind after ordering something and asked for a different beer, before the beer was being served. The bearded bartender rudely responded by saying to only talk to him when our mind is made up which caused us to ask to speak to the manager who proceeded to defend him.and kick us out on 4th of July. We have a strong feeling that his attitude and the corresponding action was racially motivated as a party of 14 lost their dinner reservation cause the bartender and management have no sense of etiquette. I go to BeachFire frequently and have never been disappointed! I usually always stick to getting the Mac and cheese with brisket, not only is it delicious, but the portion is huge!! I've tried a few other things on the menu that were also great and also very generous portions, I always leave with multiple days worth of leftovers! Wow! I can't believe I've never been here. The food is AMAZING. The wings were so crispy and flavorful. The options for sides, never ending. Home cut fries yummy and crispy. The honey buffalo sauce was PERFECT. You can get a side strawberry salad that's as big as your head for $3 up charge with your meal. It was just great. Fast service, kind workers. LOVE. Beach fire is one of my favorite spots when I come to Maine. The staff is always so consistent and friendly, and they are super attentive. Chuck is always there and the best bartender ever, despite another review saying otherwise. I love the specials they have during the off season, but even on season their prices are reasonable. I have tried many different things here and they're always great!! It does get very busy so make sure you plan ahead when you're coming, parking can also get iffy. read more

Though I was happy they had gluten free options the rest was meh. My dish was warmish but not hot and the prosecco was pretty flat. We were celebrating so ordered it - maybe if not ordered regularly they should remove from menu. My pull pork mac and cheese though good did not come with a side of bbq sauce so very dry. Came here for a quick lunch while visiting Ogunquit as "Beach Fire" was allegedly one of the top rated restaurants in town. It was a bit difficult to find parking on a busy Sunday afternoon, but we found a spot and headed in. The service was average, nothing to write home about. We were seated with five minutes of our arrival and the whole dining experience took close to 45 minutes total, which was standard. I'm not much of a seafood girl, so I opted for the "Rancher" sandwich which came with smoked chicken, bacon bits, melted cheese, mixed greens, tomato, and ranch. The smoked chicken was flavorful, but I would have preferred it to be just a simple slab of grilled chicken with pepper instead, because the smokiness was very overpowering. The homemade ranch, however, was extremely delicious and I yearned for a bottle to take home with me. The mixed greens added color and texture to the sandwich, which was appreciated. I also opted for a side of baked beans, which were delicious and had a bit of BBQ tang to them. Overall, the sandwich was decent but pretty messy, so make sure to have napkins nearby! We also ordered lobster rolls which sold at a market price of $29, which stood close to average for New England this season (I believe the range is $25-35). It was very tasty and fresh, but would have been served better warm instead of cold. The portion was fair, though the side dishes were bigger than the main course (as pictured). The fries were so-so, but the side caesar was one of the best Caesar salads I've ever had in my life. Beach Fire clearly knows how to do their dressings. AMAZING!!! We have been coming to OGT for 18 years and have never been here before. I admit we didn't know what we were getting into, and I'm lucky we came! The food is amazing. Great veggie burger, not from Sysco . Steak tips were excellent, fresh off the flame grill. My Mac and cheese was great, not too cheesy. Service was great, and our waitress was very helpful and good looking restaurant. TVs to watch, giant fire pit outside and picnic tables outdoors. Nice inside too. Family found this place on the recommendation of our hotel clerk. We decided to try it. We went on a Thursday and ordered 2 of the $20 specials. My husband and I split one and then we also helped our son with his. My oldest got the grilled chicken sandwich and was happy. Their Brussels and sweet potato fries were delicious. This is one of our favorite (non-seafood) places to eat in Ogunquit. The food is consistently excellent, the servers are consistently friendly, the portion sizes are generous (important after a physically active day outside!), and the prices are reasonable for the quality and portions. It's just a fun place to hang out too. Outdoor seating (weather permitting), TVs inside so you can catch a game if that's your thing. And if you have food allergies, you can feel safe eating here. My son and I have celiac and really appreciate that the cooks and servers understand and can accommodate our requests. Inside had an hour and a half wait so I highly recommend arriving early as both parking and seats fill up quickly. This is a great spot to stop by for a drink or a bite to eat. I have been coming here since it opened and it keeps getting better! My favorites: The Beachfire Burger, Steak Tips, Ribs and chicken wings. Jared, the owner is always improving the menu which keeps it interesting for regular customers. I always look forward to seeing what new items he has come up with. Beachfire is a busy spot as there are repeat customers both locals and vacationers who come year after year, be patient and relax with a beer or a cocktail if they are busy. We got Mac and cheese (huge portions for kids and adults), kilbasa (yum but you have to like onions and mustard bc it's all over them), haddock sandwich (great), steak tips and tenders (steak tips were awesome, tenders were ok but had a weird spice), brisket (very good). We've been coming to Ogunquit for a while and typically we stay in town for meals, drinks and entertainment. We're so happy that we expanded our vacation radius and tried the BeachFire Bar & Grille. Part of me doesn't even want to post this as it may add an even larger following. Trust me, they have a following and there are many reasons for it! So we came here because we saw reviews about the wings and the reviews were spot on. Their wings are phenomenal! The smoke comes through without dominating the flavor and the habanero BBQ sauce has just the right heat without being too hot. We had to come back for their happy hour which is absolutely insane in a resort area. Seriously, $5 each for a Dinner DIPA and The Substance IPA? And the house salads with a few happy hour appetizers was more than enough to happily satisfy for dinner. We will be back often! read more

The habanero BBQ sauce on the wings was generically sweet - zero spice. The buffalo sauce was very one dimensional and dull. The sauce on the ribs needed depth. Strangest experience tonight. Outside temp 78 and very sunny Asked for inside dining as outside tables have no umbrellas and the sun was HOT 30 minute wait - seated inside -- NO AC. IT WAS HOTTER INSIDE THAN OUTSIDE! We were miserable but felt even worse for the poor employees. The windows on the side were we we were seated were not open. The front doors were open- so I guess that means no AC for anyone seated inside. Disappointed. Server was great and food was good but it was way too hot inside to enjoy our meal. My wings didn't taste the best but they didn't taste the worst either but if you like that smokey taste you might really like them.
