Baja cod burrito! Amazing tons of cod!

Hands down the Best! The cod burritos are packed with fish no rice it has cabbage almost like coleslaw without the mayo. The chicken tacos had plenty of chicken. You get what you pay for it is pricier than Taco Bell and Chipotle. They have amazing salsa.... I just wished they put the corn chips in a box or foil rather than the bottom of the bag.

    Nice location.

I'm a huge fan of Surf Taco, this was my first visit to this location. While not my favorite from an aesthetic standpoint, the food and service here did not disappoint. The location geographically is clutch because it is very close to the Garden State Parkway. All the other locations are a decent distance from the GSP. I enjoyed a Buffalo Soldier which was made awesomely; didn't fall apart at all.

This is hands down the best fast casual taco place in New Jersey. Unfortunately they only have locations by the central jersey shores and one in Florida. Whenever I'm in the area this is a MUST. They have many different options, and they have a hot sauce bar which is fantastic- they make all their sauces on the premise.

Seemed cool when I walked in. Nice variety in menus with non regular choices. Magi taco was good. Had tortilla soup, not what I expected and did not like at all. More like Mexican chili tha tortilla soup. Very casual quick bite place

Great server...struggled to find, or taste, the piece of breaded fish. No surf in this taco..

Nice ambiance and very friendly staff. I ordered the full stack of French toast with bananas, strawberries, and blueberries, and a side of sausage links. My wife had the west Coast scrambler which consisted of eggs, avocado, pepper jack cheese, tomatoes, and scallions. Our friends ordered the chorizo burger with fries, and pastrami on rye with a side of coleslaw. As a coffee snob, I would say the coffee was very good. Everything came out cooked fresh and hot. Plenty of fresh fruit on top of my French toast. I heard the chorizo burger was different and delicious. Most of the plates went back clean. Portions were very generous. The service was excellent and friendly. The prices are reasonable. There is plenty of parking in their private parking lot. Worth the trip if you are in the area.

The menu is MASSIVE, don't come if you're indecisive or if you don't plan to come back to try more dishes ! The waitstaff sticks to the silly bit , wearing PJs, bordering on rude but in a playful way that makes it fun and not annoying. There are so many knick knacks on the walls to look at - lots of conversation starters! We enjoyed everything we ordered (the afternoon waffle section was a fun twist on a sandwich and proved you can have it all!) and are already scheming what we will have next time we come back!

They are doing an enormous takeout business as well. They bring over what is definitely homemade chips and a very heavy on the cilantro salsa, but it was excellent. More on the watery side restaurant style. We ordered the medium sized guacamole, which was huge. I can't imagine what the large looks like. My own guac I would have had diced tomato and some jalapeño in there, but it was still super fresh and delicious. We both ordered street tacos. They're on white corn tortillas. Very simple, squeeze lime on there, you got diced onion and cilantro. It was excellent and my date said hers were the al Pastor and she liked hers as well. I would've liked a more intimate dining setting, but I highly recommend this place if you want authentic delicious Mexican food and it was reasonable But if you've got four or more, I would definitely recommend a reservation on the weekends even if you have 2 maybe. No seafood enchiladas which was I guess was in line with their menu. Oh, and also they give you like a grilled cactus blade. I don't know what else to call it. It was delicious.
