I guess I was expecting it to be a little more rich. But it was good, it tasted exactly like lobster and I got good chunks in the soup too. Now the shrimp and corn chowder was super flavorful. Favorite dish of the meal. For mains, cold lobster roll and two tails w butter and side salad. Side salad was well dressed and I appreciate the ribbons of Parmesan. The lobster was mostly cooked right. There was one that was a bit chewy. Added salt and butter but felt like something was missing still. If something is presented as an apology from the restaurant, it should not then appear on the bill. Being offered a dessert to make up for a poor dining experience, only to be charged for it afterward, is absurd and left a very bad impression. The kitchen's mistakes should not become the customer's responsibility. What was supposed to be a gesture of goodwill ended up feeling misleading and only added to our frustration. The one bright spot was the scallops my partner ordered--they were absolutely fantastic. Unfortunately, by that point the overall experience had already been soured.
