It's located on the upper floor of the Ritz Carltonbuilding, above Dean & DeLuca. Go inside and take the elevator upstairs! Parking: 3 hours free with purchase and validation. Remember to Tip the valet! This was a fancy experience with beautiful food that was tasty and had a lot of variety - savory and sweet treats! Service could improve as we had a woman who wasn't as charming as the young male server at the next table. Our server was more "strict" as she said that I could only have one and a half pots of each of the two teas that I had selected. She was surprised when I told her I poured some of my drinking water into the pot to make more tea. I guess that threw her off. Our server also wiped off a smudge on one of the plates with her finger. She thought that I hadn't seen it, but... uhg... it made me question her every move... LOL! Overall, we had a fun time together as always! We enjoyed our meal, the environment, and the experience in general!

That's the vibe I felt upon arrival at the Ritz Carlton Residences and headed toward Dean & Deluca which sits prominently on the corner of Kūhiō Ave and Kalaimoku Street and as Nadine C brought up Afternoon Tea already has piqued my interest as a fun girls time to escape and enjoy was just perfect. Though you're able to valet your ride I tried to see if I'm able to find and did a street parking just down the block I scurried over and found Nadine already had checked us in and see that there's an elevator that will take you right up to the Artisian Loft which is where it all happens. Reservation is totally recommended and ours was quite early at 11:30 which was nice as there was just one table there so that we were able to take a few pics as this second floor does gives you that slight escape from the ground floor crowd. Afternoon Tea is a five course set and of course is delicately pre made and planned so any allergies like I have can't be modified which is unfortunate but is very understandable though there's so much to offer I was just surprised that we were able to finish it all. We start with two choice of hot teas or a single non refillable upgrade which is what I did...."Matcha Lilikoi Iced Latte" that wasn't just stunning but a delicious refreshing sip that paired very well with the items we were about to enjoy. Cocktails are also available though are a quite pricy option to add on to the already $60 course as I enjoyed most of the items our server though friendly didn't live up to the expectations to the vibe unfortunately. You're able to take home anything you can't finish and when I asked about my soup since I can't have it I was given a two ounce ramekin cup which was quite insulting but thankfully went to good use with another item and they do offer a $5 discount to kamaaina which makes it a great deal to spill the tea with my bestie. They do have variety of pastry, sandwich, cakes and drinks. I must say the cake is not that cheap, one small size cake set you back about $45. What nice about it is they have some outside table and seating areas, however, due to the on going construction work, you are looking at a long wooden wall when you are looking west now, once the construction is done, you will be facing a park with green grass. They open daily and the staffs are nice and friendly, check it out.
