This is my favorite bar. I'm sad to see it moving, but excited for them to have a fresh start. The facility has been improved, under new ownership. They have a great patio and great pizza. Cheap beer is why I go there though. Jukebox is the best in town. Good collection of rock, punk, metal and hip hop. Live music tends to be of the acoustic variety as of late, but occasionally they will host some louder, heavier acts, which I like. I love the staff. They have always picked fun people to work there. I haven't been going there recently, since I took a break from drinking, but I always will support this great establishment. Guaranteed to keep most hippies afar. read more

Yes on the beer, even more yes on the pizza. Get the freshly made pizza instead of a slice, just a suggestion. I had pineapple and spinach pizza and it was so tasty. Fresh sauce and cheese, some of the other ingredients are canned but they still taste great. read more

Last night was my first in Fort Collins. After going to a show at The Aggy, our group ended up at Surfside 7. This place is awesome! I love that it is a bar with a pizza window. I also love how the bar area is built as a little tiki bar--we sat at the bar and I felt like I was in a tiki hut! I ordered a slice of cheese and the crust was so chewy and tasty I had to order a second piece. I am a huge crust person and this crust there is top five in my opinion. I will definitely stop by for slice the next time I'm in town! read more

If I lived here, Surfside 7 would be a home bar for me. I don't know anything about the food since we didn't eat there, but the drinks and atmosphere suited me just fine. I appreciate a reasonably priced shot and great background music, and this bar did provide. The bartenders were laid back and entertaining while still slinging drinks quickly. Although there wasn't a band playing when I was there, it looked like they had a lot to offer quite a few nights a week. Overall, great experience and I would stop back by any time I'm in town. read more

Good cheap beer with nightly deals, as well as great local microbrew happy hour deals. Excellent staff that busts their ass to get orders taking care of and knows when to put their foot down when things get a wee bit rowdy. Awesome jukebox with a mix of local bands, punk, old country standards, though they really need to bring back "Piss up a Rope" and "The 'Brews". Good, large pizza slices with a variety of toppings, from pepperoni, sausage and pineapple, to pesto, spinach, and sun dried tomatoes. My favorite band in all of Colorado. My only complaints are the music gets too damn loud (I'm a big weenie), and the graffiti over the nice pretty pinups in the bathroom. read more

My wife and I stopped by this bar last night. We thought it looked kinda cool and different. After buying beers and finding a place to sit, we were told we would have to leave because we hadn't purchased tickets in advance for the band that was playing. We offered to buy tickets, but we were told it was sold out. So why did they let us in and take our money for a beer in the first place? It was certainly the rudest treatment I've received at any bar in Fort Collins in the last ten years. No management was on premises to speak with us. Not a good way to run a business. read more

This place used to be great. I had to wait 10 minutes at the counter waiting for some young kid, that didn't care that I was there. I got two orders of garlic knots. One order was just OK, the other was completely undercooked. Downhill for 5 years. read more

Bartenders were flat-out rude. Getting two beers for myself and my boyfriend was like pulling teeth, but they over-served another patron until he fell face-down on the floor, unconscious. When my boyfriend and some others went over to help, an employee told them to "put him out the back" because there were cops out front. This man clearly needed medical attention, but the same employees who were rude to us were happy to enlist my boyfriend's help in hauling him outside and leaving him in the snow. Seems like whether you're a first-timer looking for a beer or a regular who wants to risk alcohol poisoning, Surfside is happy to treat you like you don't matter. read more

We ordered a drink & pizza, then were instantly yelled at to finish our food & drink. They yelled at us asking what our problem was and to get the F out. The female bartender was berating everyone and demanding they leave. Poor customer service & unwanted attention. We will not return due to this behavior. Learn some customer service or stop serving at an earlier time. read more

One of my favorite places in town. Missed it while it was gone. Glad it's back. Love the new space and the new setup. Still my favorite bar in town. I have to say, though, I've been a bit disappointed with the pizza since the move. They used to have the best NY style slice in town but, it hasn't been that the past few times I've been in. Not sure if they decided to change the pizza but it's just not as good as it used to be. It's still good but, just not the same. read more

I walk in here and nobody is in here, they just opened. I ordered a drink and make a joke to the play on words of the drink menu... It was like a sleezy something. I told him, make it extra sleezy and laughed. Bartender with blond curly hair laughs. I sat and enjoyed my drink and was taken that the bartender made zero effort to chat with me. No "big plans for the weekend?" No "just getting off work?" - when he does say something it was like he begrudgingly offering me another drink. I left. I come in the weekend that followed and I happen to have the same bartender on this time he waited on our table. I told him I wanted what my friend was having, got it wrong. It was impossible to order anything and we were one of maybe 2 tables. I paid my tab and my friends tab. I didn't tip on my friends tab which was 8 dollars because I tipped for mine and my friends on my copy. Check my account, $16 for my friends tab. read more
