Lindsay, one of the associates, took the time to thoroughly guide us through everything we needed to know about maintaining our pool. As new pool owners, we really appreciated the detailed, clear advice--something we hadn't received at other stores. We left not only with the right chemicals but also with new pool stairs that they helped us order and have installed. The level of service and expertise at Snyder Pool was truly above and beyond. Although it seems like a lot of money, I understand the reasons behind collecting a deposit (customers unexpectedly cancelling appointments, technician time to travel and diagnose issues, etc.). I paid the deposit and we confirmed the next available appointment was 3/20/25. On 3/14/25 I got an email (no phone call) telling me "Due to unforeseen circumstances we will not be able to complete your spa service on 3/20/25. Instead, we will be there 3/25/25". I was so frustrated and disappointed they had picked a new date without discussing it with me and that it was 5 days later. I discussed the issue with the service department, they apologized and said that was the earliest date. There was nothing more they could do. On 3/25/25, the day of my appointment, I get a voice message that said they needed to cancel the appointment and reschedule for 3/26/25. Because I have a fenced in yard with dogs I took the day off of work to be here. I'm beyond frustrated with NE Spas. Conveniently they took my money in less than 24hours but they have no problem rescheduling my appointments for 16 days. By the way their policy is no monetary refunds just store credit. So that's not even an option. I feel trapped because they have my money and left me no other option but to accept their dates.

However, our experience with the Kids Club has been extremely disappointing. About a year and a half ago, my son had an incident where a staff member teased him. He reacted in a playful but inappropriate way, and as a result, he was suspended for a week. At the time, he was also dealing with a serious medical condition that was affecting him neurologically, which we later came to understand may have influenced his behavior. Out of caution, he did not return to Kids Club after that incident. Now that he is doing much better, and I have returned to full-time work, I recently attempted to bring him back--only to be told that he is permanently banned. The reason given was a Facebook comment I had made at the time describing our experience. I made multiple attempts to have a calm, reasonable conversation with staff to revisit the situation, especially given the time that has passed and my son's improved health. Unfortunately, there was no willingness to reconsider. This puts us in a very difficult position. As a working parent, I rely on the Kids Club in order to use the gym. Without access to childcare, we are now faced with canceling a membership we've maintained for years--not because we want to, but because we no longer have a way to utilize the facility. What's most concerning is the lack of empathy and accountability in how this situation has been handled. I sincerely hope the club takes a closer look at how interactions with children are managed, and how situations like this are resolved, so that other families don't have a similar experience.

Missing many machines that modern gyms have. For abour $70/month one would expect better. Seems more geared towards families with kids and elderly. Always adding on new fees and trying to sell extras.

New England Spas and Hot Tubs…read more NE Spas had an incredibly knowledgeable service department that went over and above to support a buyer who didn't acquire the highest end tub AND lives on a island! This issue arose because I chose to plug in my tub (how hard could it be) because hiring an electrician to come to an island by boat is difficult. Turns out, an electrician would have known to clamp the main power cord. Pulling on it over time ended up shorting out the circuit board. That's when the fun began. NESpas made sure to order the right replacement board, put me on a group chat and walked me through the installation. I clamped the power cord and it's operated flawlessly ever since. Don't go anywhere else!

Disregards town laws and permits and does not care about fines that could be imposed on the property owner if work is done without a permit. Very poor communication and does not return phone messages or emails in a timely manner, and oftentimes does not address the concern of the call or email. Dishonest with billing. Beware of Santos! During both experiences, the swrvice person was a little condescending and not proactive about telling me what they needed me to do before they came. They called to tell me the filter was cleaned and my jets were producing ripples which was great. I also asked 2 quick questions before we hung up and because he didn't know the answer because he didn't service the filter he had to hang up so he could get a hold of his guy. When I got home it didn't look like the filter was hosed down and there was no force coming out of the Jets. When I called him to tell him this he had an attitude about me not having powder readily available at my house (they should have ur with them) and that I asked too many questions and they could not have their guy turn around and come back to their house to check something or else they have to pay him another $50. When I asked additional questions, he said... We've already been through this to her three times already. So because of the condescending attitude towards me and the fact that I don't think they cleaned my filter but yet took my money they will not get business from me going forward.
