Came into town, city of surprise Az drove by this pho place, and I wanted to try this place, we decided to have an appetizer spring roll and it comes in 4 rolls it's pork and shrimp. Wasn't happy with the taste of it, didnt taste fresh they just roll it with lettuce and noodle dont see mint leaf and sauce came with it didnt taste good as well.. Service could of been better because waited a long time to order, the waiter gave us the menu, water, a basket with silverware and napkins, then he walked away and didn't say anything. There was another waiter brought out the food to our table was nice, but they should ask if we need anything else before they walked away. Ambience theres no t v except theres a screen with advertising the food on it. I think the place can be clean here and there, and customer service needs to work on.

Two large TVs tempting you to order more ... I think it's working !

I was hoping fall in life with this place, especially because it's so close to the freeway, but it just didn't Happen for me. There's plenty of quiet space inside. I ordered the appetizer combination - it was ok, better than my entree. The Nguc Cham (fish dipping sauce) tasted so watered down, I was really disappointed. Vietnamese spring rolls are always served with romaine lettuce and mint. You roll it up like a little burrito and then dip it in the Nguc Cham sauce, but unfortunately they only had butter iceberg and Thai basil. Not for me. I wanted to order an authentic slow drip Vietnamese coffee, but they had a premix, so I passed. I ordered the #13 - it came with a strange salad dressing and the rice had an odor to it. Even after taking it home, I could not eat it. The pork was so fatty, I tossed it out too. The ladies beside me ordered appetizers and seemed to enjoy them, but it's a one time visit for me.

Egg rolls (Cha Gio) These do NOT contain meat. Terrible!

On the evening of May 7th, I placed an Uber Eats order from this restaurant for Filet Mignon Pho and a 4-piece egg roll (Cha Gio). This was my second attempt trying their food. During my first visit, I walked in to place a to-go order, but was told they were out of several key ingredients, including egg rolls and bean sprouts. I still ordered a rare steak pho, but it lacked flavor and was disappointing. This recent order was slightly better--the pho was average, with a broth that was passable but not rich. However, the egg rolls were a serious concern. Not only did they seem to contain no meat, but my very first bite included a foreign object, which could have caused serious harm. I immediately contacted Uber Eats and documented the issue. I don't write negative reviews lightly, but this goes beyond personal taste. For health and safety reasons, I strongly urge a professional inspection of this establishment. I won't be returning.

I needed soft foods to eat. So Pho was my best option. This is my first time trying Vietnamese in AZ. It was good. The dumplings have chicken inside. They give you bean sprouts, lime jalapeños and basil on the side. Another container has all the different sauces you can add to the soup. The veggies were soft, but not mushy. We were seated and greeted immediately. There weren't many people inside when we got there. I'm not sure there was much of a decor vibe that stands out as memorable. It's definitely a place to sit and eat, not to go for any kind of hip vibe. My friend ordered the shrimp pho. She liked it. Only critiques: the soup wasn't super hot. The green tea was weak. Too much water was in the pot, and it too, wasn't super hot. I'd go again. Would like to try a different dish next time when I can eat solid food.

Our server checked in with us multiple times and was super considerate, giving us privacy when he noticed we were having a deep discussion. Our food was fantastic. I've been here before with my husband and other friends but this was their first time. They've traveled to Ireland and England before so they were eager to try the Bangers and Mash to compare them. They had no complaints and almost finished it all off. They were thrilled to have leftovers though! Hubby ordered the Fish N Chips and the fish was super moist and tender, the batter light and crispy without being too crispy. He's usually not too into French fries, but he polished off the chips pretty quickly. I had the Irish Breakfast and it was amazing. Two fried eggs but with a warm, silky, runny yolk that I mopped up with the thick slab of brown bread was a great start. The black and white puddings were a wonderful surprise as the black pudding wasn't too mineral-tasting like some blood sausages can be to me. I actually wanted more! The fried potatoes were delightfully fluffy on the inside with a slight crispness on the outside. The rashers of bacon were a little salty for me, but when paired with the potatoes, they were perfect! I love coming back here!

Her tomato soup tasted "like hot catsup", Yum. Oh, and my soup after correcting the wrong one ( they gave me onion instead of potato) after arguing with me over what I ordered tasted like flour and water with a few pieces of potato. And of course let's not forget the coup de grace, the stale cookie and my asphalt like chocolate croissant, oh boy. Most everything we ordered stayed right there on the table, as a silent 'peaceful' protest. When does this place go under?

Susan, the General Manager, welcomed us at the register. We ordered the You Pick Two: Chicken Cranberry Salad sandwich with Mac & Cheese; the Grilled Chicken BLT with Avocado with Mac & Cheese; a bowl of the Rustic Potato Soup, and two large drinks. Both meals, bowl of soup, and drinks were affordably priced. It was easy to find seating and we found a comfortable well lit table for two in their spacious dining room. There was practically no wait for the food and the district manager (who was visiting this restaurant for a day) helped me bring food to the table. The food was incredible! It was warm and flavorful. The texture was perfect! We learned a small hack to butter, our baguettes and dip them into the rustic potato soup. One of them were can express the taste: phenomenal! We have visited this restaurant in the past for lunch as we can afford to, and we have never been disappointed. We are so grateful that this location has not increased prices, decrease quality, or sacrifice portion size for the price we pay of the register. The staff is absolutely amazing! Words feel like it's a home away from home with good people and quality food. I have to admit that I have passed on the surveys sent to me by Panera in the past, but just felt lead to give overdue praise and credit where it's deserved. Thank you, Panera for making our 30th wedding anniversary lunch a wonderful and heartwarming experience!

That alone was frustrating, but the food was even more disappointing. The Vietnamese crepe we used to enjoy was completely off. It was thick and doughy like pizza crust instead of the light, crispy texture it used to have (which all Vietnamese crepes have, actually). We ended up throwing most of it away and just eating some of the veggies inside. The spring roll was another letdown. Basically all noodles, hardly any veggies or meat, and only "two shrimp" (really just one shrimp cut in half). I had actually read another review saying the same thing right before writing my update. My husband and I laughed since we were literally about to write the same. Customer service didn't help either. I had to repeat my order three times because the staff member kept stopping to talk to a coworker. It felt really dismissive. Even the Thai tea, while tasty, was only filled about 3/4 of the way. The only decent part of the meal was the vermicelli bowl. I'm not sure if ownership changed, but the flavors, portions, and overall experience were way off from what this place used to be. Honestly, you're better off going to the other Vietnamese spot nearby for better flavor and value.
