I had ordered Uber eats from this place before so I had an idea what the food tasted like. This was my first time dining in and I was extremely impressed by their service. The moment I walked in, I felt so welcomed. A very friendly guy with a nice big smile explained about the menu and communicated professionally with both me and my bf. Then, at the register, was another sweet girl with a lovely demeanor, who made sure we got everything we needed. This place is so lucky to have these two young employees who take pride in their job! As for the food, the lobster bisque was excellent and the protein bowl was good and came in a generous portion. The only negative is that it looked so dirty underneath the fountain drink machine. I always love visiting Cafe Zupas when I'm in town. I wish they'd open where I live, in Oregon! I was excited to see the menu when I landed as I knew this would be a perfect post flight meal. I had the cottage cheese bowl and added a few additional veggies and it was so fantastic. The service was quick and the food was fresh. The reason I took a star off is because there was a piece of cardboard in my bowl. Things happen, and this won't stop me from visiting again, but wanted to cal that out. read more

I absolutely love the location near my house in Norterra but I was by the Bell Rd 75th Ave location when I popped in to grab a Togo mango berry salad.. the two food maker workers were absolutely in a baaaaaaaaddddd mood.. so bad that I felt the need to alert other customers.. I simply wanted to watch my food being prepared, saw really old cucumbers and asked for the fresh ones that were about to be swapped out.. both of them insisted I immediately go down to the pay area and wait there for my salad, so I continued to stand at the viewing windows and watched, the young lady of the two was soooooooooo irritated that I was still watching that she decided to scoop the strawberries blueberries and mango with force and anger that I had to start laughing out loud... she snatched the bowl from the male food maker, runs it to the cashier and tossed it on top of the counter then grunted and huffed. Keep in mind not a single other soul in line but myself... I then walked over to pay with the cashier and just had to ask?! "Are we not allowed to watch our food being made?! How bazaar and strange how she acted over me watching!" The cashier's response was ..... lol ...... "I know but we are on a timer, there are sensors at the start of the line that starts the clock to when the customer pays!" I'm like huh you're joking?! No she says "it's to keep the line moving" I laughed and looked all around me and said but I'm the only one here?! First time here last Saturday. Workers were very pleasant. I ordered the protein bowl with chicken, sweet potatoes and cottage cheese with the hot honey. It was delicious. Some of the sweet potatoes were a little undercooked. Besides that the dressing and everything was very flavorful and fresh, chicken was delicious. I can't believe I waited so long to try this place. I love the food here! The Wisconsin cauliflower soup is my favorite, I usually pair it with the ultimate grilled cheese sandwich, or a salad. You can get thru the line quickly and the variety of drinks is great! Portions could be larger, I'm usually hungry again in 2 hours. For what they charge, they can afford larger portions. I would be here multiple times a week if I felt like I was getting more bang for my buck. The world is too expensive to not be competitive in the hospitality industry. I went to Café Zupas yesterday around 1:45 pm, and this place completely tanked any chance of me ever coming back. I tried ordering the Pick 2 with two soups. Pretty simple. The menu doesn't say you can't do that anywhere. Not on the board, not in fine print, nowhere. Instead of just making the order, I was told "you can't do that." No explanation. No logic. Nothing. I asked for the manager, and Zana wandered over. She had no clue what the policy even was. She had to stare at the menu board, then ask a coworker, just to come back and tell me no again, still with zero reasoning. Then she hit me with the most ridiculous explanation I've ever heard in a restaurant: it's "implied" that you shouldn't order two soups. Implied? By who? Because it sure wasn't implied to me, and it definitely wasn't written anywhere. Instead of owning the mistake or providing a real answer, she got visibly aggressive the second she was challenged, like I asked her to solve rocket science instead of a lunch order. When I asked for her District Manager to contact me, she took my name and number, but not before throwing out this gem: "Do you go to Panera Bread and do this too?" Yes, actually. And unlike Café Zupas, Panera doesn't whine about it. They encourage it. I left Café Zupas and went straight to Panera for a stress-free lunch. I even kept the receipt so Café Zupas can see how a real company handles customers. Bottom line: the menu is misleading, the manager has no command of the policies, and the attitude was downright unacceptable. If this is how Café Zupas chooses to treat paying customers over something this small, it says everything I need to know. I'll happily spend my money elsewhere. read more

Stopped in for lunch while running errands. Had the usual choose 2, nuts about berries salad and Ham and Provolone sandwich. Always interested in the deserts and noticed the chocolate chip cookie. Decided to add it to the order. Was not disappointed. The line was decent since it was lunch but it moved quickly. The employees were friendly. If I would have thought about it in advance I would have ordered ahead on the app. Usually the tables and trays are removed right away, but they weren't today. It was good food and what I expect when I come here. The sign says they don't accept tips, but it is an option when you pay. I recommend always tipping. read more

This was my first time coming here, and unfortunately I wasn't very happy with the experience. The customer service was not very pleasing, and the food wasn't great. My husband ordered a protein bowl, but the rice was undercooked and the taste overall was not good. He had also requested no olives, but they still added them. When he pointed it out in a respectful way, one of the workers had an attitude and refused to accept it was her mistake, insisting she heard something else. That felt very unprofessional. On top of that, both the men's and women's bathrooms were dirty, which was surprising since there were plenty of employees around but hardly any customers. My family started coming to Zupas when it first opened here in Arrowhead. The first couple years the place stayed pretty sharp, clean, and food's good. Over time the place has turned somewhat filthy and the meat has changed to something that I'm not recognizing as chicken. Not sure about the salt content but because it's so filthy when we come in it just turns you off. We stopped coming for a couple years. We gave it a shot tonight and it's still filthy. read more

Terrible today. Been coming to Zupas for years now. Usually I go to the one on McDowell.. But we were in the neighborhood of this one. It was extremely slow... chicken noodle soup was cold. When we took it back they gave us the new soup with the noodles on the side saying that was the problem... but of course once we put the nooodles in it was cold... it's soup... it suppose to be hot isn't it???? Then the barbecue chicken salad didn't have enough dressing.. when I went back up they wanted to charge me an additional .79 cents... add on the fact they were out of chocolate strawberries and it took forever to pay for lunch and needless to say not a good experience... People were left in line waiting while employees were trying to find the chocolate. An employee cut open a box in front of people using the knife that was used for food. She handed it off to another employee and that employee just wiped the knife on her jeans. Employees were standing around and talking while ALL tables, booths and napkin dispensers were dirty. I placed a pick up order costing $112.34, It consisted of 3 try 2 combos of grilled cheese sandwiches and tomato soup, 3 strawberry dubai chocolates, and 3 fountain drinks. I was 15 minutes away from the place and they told me it would take 9 minutes for it to be done. When i arrived, the place was busy and packed so they ran a little late on time, which is completely fine. They told me they were just waiting on the grilled cheese sandwiches and that was it. 20 minutes later, they inform me that they were out of tomato soup and asked if I would like to replace it. I tried replacing one with the Lobster Bisque but they were out of that as well so i just asked for a refund on the soups. Instead, the told me they'd refund me my $112.34, and recharge me for my order that was $96.37. Later that night I checked my bank account and never got the refund. I had to call and ask about it and it turns out they never refunded me, the lady on the phone put me on hold for 30 minutes and only refunded me $38.97. I had to physically go to Zupas and confront them that i needed my refund. Instead, they had me reach out through customer support on email. Not only did I have to wait 30+ minutes for my pickup order, never got my refund, wasted so much time when it was NOT my fault, and spent over $200 there, but it was just an overall inconvenience with Zupas. If i can rate this Zupas location zero stars I definitely would. read more

Absolutely loved it!!!! I had a salad at a work catered lunch and it was so amazing and have been craving to go back!! I ordered the strawberry harvest salad and potato soup. The potato soup was amazing! The chile gives it a little kick at the end. Highly recommend!!! My boyfriend got the Italian club and chicken noodle. Also amazing!!! The bread rolls are so so yummy.
