I had my 2021 taxes prepared by Joseph and had been coming to him for the past few years. I thought I had found someone who had been doing my tax preparations correctly so I entrusted him all these years. This year, after leaving his office I found he had entered an amount incorrectly on one of the tax forms. The same day I called his office but was told he was with a client so they told me to call later or email him. I emailed him but never got a response. The following day I called his office again, I was told he was not in but they would relay my message and have him call me. Again, he never called me. I called again and was then transferred to his assistant, Daya. She told me she did see where he had entered the wrong dollar amount and would let him know to call me back. Few days went by with no reply from anyone. I sent another email to Joseph but he never replied. I then called his office again and was told he would call me back. This went on for about 3 weeks with no follow up from anyone in his office. Mistakes happen so I was not upset at that, it was more frustrating that Joseph and his team didn't have the courtesy to give me a response for an error made by them. I never really had an issue with Joseph with the exception that he made you wait over 30 minutes to see you after setting up a set appointment time. This now makes sense that he isn't considerate of anyone's time or money but his own. I had to pay a CPA to amend the tax return he erroneously filed and found that he indeed had done them wrong. Additionally, I went back the two prior years and found he had also incorrectly filed my 2019 tax return. I have all the call logs made to his office and all the emails with no response. I truly hope they don't try to say in a reply here that they did contact me or make up some excuse. They may do great service for others and it could be it was a couple of glitches on my taxes but regardless, have the courtesy to correct what you did and give a courtesy reply. read more

UPDATE: 2/3/16 I am an actual client and YOU KNOW THIS BECAUSE YOU CONDUCTED YOURSELF IF THIS MANNER. My name is Holiday Sayers. ________________________________________________ This business fails to realize the way business can be conducted in Mexico, slow and with no actually time frame or any concept of time or keeping the customer waiting all day, should be considered completely unacceptable here! I waited HOURS for someone.... anyone... to call me back and reactivate my insurance. The woman answering the phone is clearly completely useless because all she was able to do was tell me is that someone would call me back and she, personally was unable to help me. ....USELESS. Also when I originally did business with these idiots my insurance by Alliance was almost cancelled, (I received a cancellation notice in the mail) because the employee was SO SLOW sending in the paperwork required by them. I asked the employee to send me proof via email that he had in fact submitted what I paid him for AND HE COMPLETELY IGNORED THAT REQUEST. They claim their business opens at 10am on Saturday. They didn't even start answering the phone to tell me they can't do business with me and will call me back until 1030am. TO DATE I HAVE NEVER RECEIVED A CALL FROM A PERSON AT THIS BUSINESS TO REACTIVATE MY INSURANCE!!! read more

After moving to the Valley from L.A three years ago I had to transition into getting things done more local instead of taking a dreadful drive to LA. Changed mechanic, changed girl, and last year change my tax preparer. I ended up at Sus Servicios based on Yelp reviews, I have been using Yelp since 2009 so it's easy to tell if reviewers are real or not. Anyhow, I walked into the office and it was busy, put my name down and asked them to call me when it was my turned. After having  coffee and a bite at Yum Yum Donuts I get a called, walked back to Sus Servicios, and meet Superhero tax prepared Ann Hernandez. She surpassed my expectations last year so I had to come back and meet with her again this year. Both times she has been very attentive and good at. answering questions specially now that I'm married, have a year old, and own a home. It's a lot different than doing taxes as a single man. I wanted to give a huge thanks to everyone at Su Seguro! I found their flyer on my car after I was grocery shopping and I saw that they offered $0 deposit. I had already been calling around to Adriana's Insurance and Fred Loya. They both gave me extremely high deposits (in fact Fred Loya wanted me to pay in 2 separate payment that totaled over $450 for my first month of insurance). I called Su seguro and spoke to Edgar Lemus who was very friendly over the phone and he gave me the lowest quote! I made ann appointment and he THOROUGHLY explained what I was paying for - DOLLAR FOR DOLLAR. I was even given free chips and water. This is the best insurance agency in Sylmar. Young college student, with a couple of driving infractions, just screams high insurance premiums. After having such high rates on my insurance I decided to give Su Seguro a try. I appreciated Alex's patience and transparency. I appreciated the fact that the numbers he was crunching on his monitor were explained to me, opposed to my other tax agent that rushed through the process. He assisted me to getting my vehicles insured and gave me three different estimates that insurance companies would charge me and I had the option to choose what worked best for me. I was having a hard time finding a place to do my tax and I finally found this place through Yelp and thankful I did. Ended up coming in on Saturday with no appointment. Miguel took us in and did mines and my fiance's taxes and I'm glad he did. He's very knowledgeable, informative, and thorough. He was explaining everything he was doing (step by step). By far the best insurance agency is the San Fernando valley. Talk about customer service, these guys have it down to the T. FIRST AND FOREMOST, THEIR PRICES ARE THE LOWEST.
